[Resolved]  Snapdeal.com — Fraud customer support

On 2nd april, 2016 i received a call from snapdeal (+91 [protected]) at 11.44 am promoting about onsite screen protection and suggesting me to purchase onsite screen protection for my smartphone i bought from snapdeal ie, lenovo vibe x2 and unboxed oneplus x bearing order no. [protected] and [protected]. I was not sure about it so she told me that she would call back later between 5pm to 6pm. I thought to get it for my oneplus x only. Later at 5.56pm she called back from the same number and i told her that i was interested in onsite screen protection for my oneplus x. She told me about its price and features and she placed the order on my approval. Here's the thing. I didn't placed order from my side yet today snapdeal support refused to believe that they made such calls. That makes me a liar, right?

Anyway, order for screen protection was placed with order id [protected]. I received it on 6th april. I made a call to on-site at 2.26 pm. It was received by customer support by the name "kunal". I was asked to send my invoice of my mobile to [protected]@onsite.Co.In with subject as kunal and was told that a confirmation call would be made within 48 hrs. I did as was told.

I didn't receive any call or email from onsite. I tried calling on-site and was greeted by ivr mentioning that onsite support was unavailable at the moment. I freaked out fearing duped and called snapdeal support and talked to "amarjot kaur" ( this name was confirmed by last snapdeal customer support guy i talked to). I told him how i was insecure about on-site and suggested for return. He calmed me down and told me to wait for a day for on-site to reply me back. And i was made assured that my money was secured by some policy as i have raised a complaint and i am eligible for return even after 7 days return deadline. Well, i was told this by 2-3 customer support people.
Yet, last guy i talked to said ther is no such scheme by which i would be able to return after 7 days. He denied everything i said. Well, i didn't lie about it or anything.

I called about 3-4 times about this issue. Snapdeal support only makes promises till the 7 days return policy is over and refuses return after that and makes you feel like a liar.

Fyi, i got in contact with on-site today. (What a relief). Again i'm told that i get a call before 6 pm today. I feel like i'm being duped again.
