Snapdeal.com — Invoice of laptop | |||||
One of the worst experiences with Snapdeal as far as customer service is concerned. I bought a laptop from them a few months back. A defect cropped up and I contacted the HP vendor since it was in warranty. But, it seems that the invoice that Snapdeal shipped did not have serial number of laptop and hence HP asked me to get an updated invoice so that they can update my warranty period. I lodged a complaint with Snapdeal on the 31st of March and till date I havent received an updated invoice from them. This is after many rounds of long ordeal calls with their customer service executives(I interacted with Rahul, Pavitra and 2 others) and pleading with them to provide me invoice as I do not have a working laptop for almost 9 days now. All that these guys said everytime i called them up is - "Sir, we are really sorry. We assure you this would be done asap. I will escalate this to my senior department." One of the executives went to the extent of even swearing on his mother that he will get this done that day itself, but nothing got resolved(I hope his mother is fine, though !!). These guys have little inclination towards customer service. I mean how hard is it to give an updated invoice of the product(certainly not 9 days). Also, I would question the term "escalation" that these guys so frequently use. Escalation is something that is supposed to be taken very seriously. Extremely disappointed. Please help me.
