Im also a victim of sanpdeal. I ordered a ray ban sunglasses in january 2017 but i received fake product and i returned the order and they refunded the amount.
Then again i dared to order a ray-ban blue mirror aviator on 14th august 2017 and the seller was shut up online services. Again i received the fake product. I placed return request and sent a mail to snapdeal about the issue and told them that seller is not genuine. Snapdeal customer care called me and assured me that the seller has been blocked from snapdeal. And they requested me to place another order and assured me to provide real product.
Then as per the words of snapdeal customer care executive i placed order of same ray-ran on 29 august 2017, with increased price to future deal (Seller on snapdeal). But i was so shocked when i received the product and name of seller on invoice was "shut up online services", it was the same who was blocked from the snapdeal as per the customer executive. And this time product was again fake. Again i called and sent mail to snapdeal about the issue and inconvenience occurred to me. For all the orders i paid in advance.
Then i received call on 2 august 2017 from snapdeal. He told me that sir please share some images of product i received. So did i. Sent them several pics. Then he called me after 5 hours on same day and told me that snapdeal app and site are being hacked and orders are being transferred to other sellers who are not genuine. Even he said that in case of cod snapdeal has to pay back to their customers for any return items as cod amount received by the fake seller. But in my case it was prepaid so refund would be easy. And he again requested me to place one more time order of rayban and said its a recorded call and i assure you sir that you will get original product but till that time i ordered from lenskart retail shop so told him the reality and asked him to refund my amount.
But very next day on 3rd august 2017, snapdeal called me and said that i'm not genuine, product was original and we are returning the product back to me and not refund would be initiated and even my snapdeal account is deactivated from snapdeal side.
According to their experts that was a original product. Now lenskart has delivered me the real original rayban, i can show them the difference between two even i've sent some pics of real product.
Snapdeal is worst. They want me to accept fake product worth not more than rs 500/- for rs. 4775/-. They are playing with their customers, they say easy returns. If, only if their ray-ban is original still i want to return it, they have to accept the return and initiate refund but snapdeal denied.
