Snapdeal.com — PRODUCT SUPPLIED AFTER EXPIRY | |||
I ordered Ricoh Toner from Snapdeal on[protected]ORDER NO [protected] which was delivered to me on 21-09-14. On opening the outer carton of the parcel I found that the toner was packed in March 2013 but the same was delivered to me after 18 months. As per the Ricoh guideline for using the toner, the same should be used within 12 months of packing for best results. I immediately sent a return request on 24-09-14 to Snapdeal stating that the vendor had supplied me Expired product and wanted them to take it back. Secondly my request for return of the goods was well within their stipulated period of 7 days after receipt of material. On 26-09-14 I received email that the return request was initiated and within 48 hours the same will be executed by their partner NuvoEx. However, when there was no execution of return request on part of their courier, I tried sending another message to Snapdeal and visited their site again to see the status. However to my horror the site status states “Return Request not permissible” as the last status. Now I fail to understand if a company like Snapdeal supplies product which has passed its expiry date is it not genuine reason for either replacing the product or refunding the money which they have collected as COD at the time of delivery.
