[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — Sending wrong item. Taking away item also and money also. No refund whatsoever.

ITEM : Cello Blue Stainless Steel Water Bottle - 1500ml

Snapdeal took away both the item and Cash Payment of Rs.1, 350/- with the promise that money WILL BE REFUNDED. Now I have neither the item nor the money. The website boldly displays, "REFUNDED". But till date, no refund of Rs.1, 350/-

REASON FOR RETURN : In place of my ordered item - "BLUE Stainless Steel Water Bottle", SNAPDEAL supplied an entirely wrong model - SWIFT. This happened two times.

WHY REFUND : I had to obey SNAPDEAL terms and accept refund i.e., mind you, refund was NOT my wish. It is SNAPDEAL who demanded that I should go for refund which I have meakly accepted.

After I posted my grievance in Consumer Complaints, Snapdeal has successfully refunded full amount by : (1) Repeated phoning with polite etiquette promising smooth resolving of the case (2) Sending email to this effect and (3) Finally sincerely refunding full amount within a couple of days.
