I bought a product on snapdeal under 'snapdeal gold' according to which I was supposed to get faster delivery and easy returns. Promised date of delivery was 9th of May and I got it delivered on 10th of May. Now I wanted to return the product because of this same reason, but to my surprise there are no such options available to return. Like Amazon offers you enough reasons to return and get a refund, Snapdeal gave me only three options. There was no option of easily returning the product like if I am unsatisfied with the product or anything else. According to Snapdeal the product has to be damaged, old, used to get a refund. As I opened the product it appeared like old and used so I immediately followed the return procedure. The item got picked up and I followed the status of the refund, but there was no update till 14th. I then contacted the customer care. They told me that will get back to me as soon as possible. I tweeted about the same, sent a mail, called customer care, but all I got to hear was apologies, that is it. Today I got a call saying that they had done a quality check and found the product well enough to be delivered back to me and that they are sending the product back to me and I have to accept it. I said I will not be accepting as I want the refund now and not the product. The executive then said that they are sending it and will not be responsible if I do not accept the delivery. My reasons to ask for a refund, first, it got delivered late and second, it appeared as a used one. Now I have no clue how to proceed further with this case. Was this information helpful? |
