To whom so ever it may concern..
For the details mentioned in subject - I had made advance payment of ₹ 500 towards booking of Refrigerator. But within an hours time I returned to cashier and asked him to cancel my booking and refund the amount.
After repeating myself thrice the fellow cashier responded "being a gudhi padwa weekend, the staff are on holiday." They scanned the copy of invoice and said they would process in couple of days.
Whereas I revisited the showroom for my refund 2 days later, they had the similar tone of answer "it will take time and we shall call you".
On 13th day since, my third visit, they say "we have emailed the team today itself" - it takes your trained staff to reach upto your other trained staff 2 weeks to place a simple request ?
I doubt their intentions. Is the refund already in the pockets of your cashier ?
Being a practicing Chartered Accountant myself, I know how the cashiers of various organisations work and indulge in frauds. And I suspect this to be one.
I admit, I haven't come across such reluctant, irresponsible, clueless, confused and unhelpful representatives on cash counter.
It's been 1 and half month since. I haven't been contacted nor have I received my refund cash / cheque or any update in this regards.
I have waster more fuel / conveyance and time to receive the refund than the amount actually is. But I shall see to it that I don't fall yet another victim to your fraudulent practices.
This is the final time I am raising my voice for my right. Failing the same from your end I would use this email / complaint as evidence along with the voucher at consumer court to shut the frauds carried out at your organisation causing harassment to me.
Further, I promise to take whatever action it takes to get rid of the way you fool customers and make them forcefully give up for their refund.
