Tambaram east railway station parking fee has been drastically increased. They are charging 15 rupees for parking upto 12 hours and 20 rupees for parking upto 24 hours. If we buy 12 hour parking token and if we are unable to take back the bike within 12 hours then they are charging another 15 rupees.

I request the concerned authority to revise the parking fee.in all other station parking fee is 10 rupees for 12 hours. Hence please revise to this price

This is regarding parking fee of Yashvanthpur railway station parking. In tariff board they have mentioned minimum fee till 2 hours for bike will be Rs.10, whereas they collecting Rs.20. If we questioned this, they will say this is last month board and new rate is Rs.20.
My question, who will decide these changes, is the parking fee collector is the full authority to decide what is the rate needs to be fixed. Railway's updating so much new sing boards in station and why they are not doing this n parking place, so that passenger will get notify before parking their vehicles and avoid future fight regarding increased price.

    Dear sir/madam

    I used to travel from thiruvalangadu to central in our route there is no rs.5 tickets. If i go to arakkonam i have to pay rs.10. (Distance is 12km) if i ask for half ticket they are not giving rs.5 ticket. They are charging full amount. 7 th february 2019 when i travelled guindy to washermanpet route i got rs.5 ticket (Distance 18 km).in the same chennai railway's why this discrimination. Some of the routes return tickets are given in our route it's not given.
    If the officials take proper steps on this it will reduce the number of people who are going without ticket. Kindly do the needful as early as possible.

Particularly at stations sholapur then KRS PURAAM then At Salem Many peoples are entering and search for the vacant seat and simply occupying. No control at all.           Dear sir,
          The railway parking in tambaram east has charging more for two wheeler parking. When we ask they are answaring to ask to railways. They are telling the railways only increasing the charges currently.
          They are charging rs. 15 for non tokan parties and rs 400 per month for monthly pass.
          And also when we ask for the order for increasing the fee, they are not ready to show the same. We are expecting your action on this case.

            I usually travel from bangalore to tirupathi once or twice a month. I book tickets every time. But every time i need to fight with other passages who does not reserve but have the normal ticket to sit in my reserved seat. It is really irritating to fight for our seats and a big headache. Mysore to bangalore tc is not available, no security available in this root. Entire reservation coach is like general. Then what is the use of reservation.

              In suburban trains transgenders have become real nuisance and making travel unsafe for passengers, (Specifically for young boys and girls) and they are demanding money (Not begging). Please note train ticket for a travel costs only 5 inr to 10 inr, but the transgenders demand 10 inr as minimum amount. If passenger do not have money or they refuse to pay, transgender abuse the passengers verbally at sometimes they use physical violence also. These are happening continously in the suburban trains and mostly after 10 am (Ie after the peak hour rush) when the crowd is less and transgeders move from compartment to compartment in each station. If this continues unchecked and railway police do not take action against these people they will make train travel unsafe and unpleasant.
              Lot of questions come to mind. Do these transgenders buy tickets or they get season tickets to travel. If they are caught once for begging/ nuisance/ harrasment cases, will they be allowed to get season tickets in future also. How it is possible in chennai train? Whether any action has been taken to check the menace and make train tavel safe.

                My pnr [protected]. We are both senior citizens who were taken for a ride.
                I have sent atleast 22 e mails to various authorities including so called agent, who never responded to my request and i lost the entire amount. When i booked for the second time through irctc, it automatically went to yatra.co.in
                And i had to pay extra charges as agents commission. The first agent had three e mails i. E rajkumar, sector 22, noida, sanjana at g mail.com and [protected]@gmail.com. I do not know whether the tickets is cancelled or not as i have received any refund so far.

                  In east tamabarm there is a southern railway parking facility for 2 wheeler and the contract has been completed on 11-jan-2019 and till now on one contractor in facility and lights/cctv camera has been switched off as well. Please look into this matter and kindly take necessary action as serious concern for the people who park in this facility.

                    I am a eegular passenger of 56392 number passenger train to ernakulam. Mainly lot of employess who have punching at the time of entry in office are depending this train. By making irresponsinble crossing to mumbai cst kanyakumari express at kottayam, you are cheating the entire system. If you people cannot adjust the train running without late then why are you taking payment, give relaxation in the same too if the bloody train is late. Non reacted customers are your power. Please try to understand abd clear tbe issue. Like you people this time also important for those who depending on the train.

                      I have booked a ticket using uts app to avoid long queues inn railwaystation, but when tried to take ticket from atvms, i was really shocked to see that none of them is working and only one working machine which is also engaged by a local guy printing tickets by collecting money.

                      I have no choice left than to pay him again and take ticket.

                      Got to pay 2 fares for one ticket.

                      I faced this issue in other railway stations as well.

                      Its highly disappointing, hope proper action is taken to ensure effective working of atvms to help common man to utilise his facilities

                        So, i'd got a ticket for first class compartment (Mrts) so that my travel journey could be easy and less painful. But to my surprise, half the people travelling in first do not have the first class ticket? And it's so bloody crowded. Why can't we have a tt who would check the tickets? It's just beyond miserable having access to the first class compartment and cannot avail the service cos brooo, why will the tt wake up? Come to do his job? He gets paid anyone. Without doing anything. Come, check tickets then at least people will follow rules. Or boycott the first class system if you guys are so if imcompetent in doing your job.

                        No security, no safety, no tt, people are just hanging cos there is no one to stop. Oh and, the beggars, same people come everyday, put up a drama, collects money and leave? How can you permit that? Is there any internal setting? Suspicious!!! And the sellers, selling vegetables and snacks, they come everyday invading a lot of space and no one is to stop them. What are y'all doing? Seriously, want to know.

                        I want my money back, i do not want the first class ticket if i don't get any service. Refund the money, i'll be more than happy to travel in other compartment cos the experience is the same. Thank you not.

                          Sub: pick-up fee collection at thanjavur railway station
                          At thanjavur railway station backside entrance, the parking contractor is collecting fee for picking up (Pick-up fee) the people coming to thanjavur railway station. As the contractor (P. Sakthivel) informed me that the pick-up fee will be collected even the driver doesn’t get down or park the car. I have filed and rti based on this and i was informed that pick-up fee cannot be collected (No collection of fee for vehicles coming for pick-up or drop).
                          Ref: t/c. 353/rtia/dp/parking/50080 – date 05/10/2018.
                          Even after showing this, on[protected], at thanjavur railway station, rs.20/- was collected for a car which came for picking up. I have attached the following for your reference.
                          (1) rti response highlighted the point - no collection of fee for vehicles coming for pick-up or drop
                          (2) bill proof of fee collected on[protected]
                          (3) video proof of collecting the pick-up fee
                          I kindly request your immediate action on the contractor. Thank you.

                            Please note that I have booked a ticket (PNR

                            through Reservation Counter at Ernakulam Jn (ERS) for journey on 19/8/2018 by Sleeper Class from CHENNAI CENTRAL to ERNAKULAM JUNCTION in Train #22639 Alleppy Express, for my wife & self.

                            It was reported in News Papers & Railway's authorised 'Apps' that this train would be terminated at its new destination at Coimbatore instead of its original Destination Allappuzha due to floods in Kerala, on its journey on 19th Aug. 2018. ie its journey from Coimbatore to Allappuzha was CANCELLED. ie this train would not go to ERNAKULAMJUNCTION to which I have booked the ticket.

                            Therefore, on 19th Aug I cancelled my ticket at Thambaram(TBM)Chennai, Reservation Counter. Instead of full refund to me, they gave me only Rs.230 as against Rs.485 the full value of booked ticket.

                            Ticket Reservation Counter at Ernakulam advised me to approach you for Refund as this ticket was cancelled at Thambaram (Chennai) Ticket Reservation Counter.

                            Now, I request your Good Office to make necessary arrangements to REFUND the Balance amount of Rs.250 to me at the earliest.

                              On 12/12/2018 at 4pm, i approached the food stall m/s. Vasantam cataring, in viruthunagar railway station for food to be carried with in our journey to ernakulam by train no.16127. I asked the person at the counter to give me one each lemon rice, curd rice & two coffees. The price of lemon & curd rice was rs.19 & rs.18 respectively as per price list published there. But he charged me rs.25 per rice ie rs.50 for two. When i questioned him about overcharging, he told me that the price list was old & now the price was increased to rs.25 and the price on the board has to be corrected. I then told him that when i purchased same from mdu station last month the price were rs.19 & 18 only. He reiterated that now price was rs.25each. Please be informed that there were no marking on the food containers about details of content or price etc. When i asked for bill he told me that there was no billing system but only token system. I told him that i would be reporting this matter to higher ups for which he gave his consent.
                              Totally i paid him rs.25+25+10+10=70. (Rs.10+10 are towards two coffees).
                              I have reported this to [protected]@mdu. Railnet.gov.in vide email of 14/12/'18 and
                              Made several reminders dtd 18/12, 22/12, 26/12
                              To him & vide my email dtd 4/1/'19 reported this to [protected]@gmail.com
                              Still now i have not heard anything from them.
                              Now i humbly request your good self to take appropriate action in this case.

                                Hi irctc,

                                I have booked a e-ticket in tatkal on subjected pnr. The ticket is confirmed partially, i have booked three ticket but only two tickets got confirmed and i got a ticket confirmation sms by 3:52 am only and my boarding time is 7:50 am. Hence i'm not able to travel.

                                Can i get a refund for this case.

                                If yes, what is the procedures to get my booking amount back.

                                  9.10 local emu train is delay by 10 mins daily

                                  Local train running from chennai central to arakonam is always late by 10-15 mins, train arrives at correct time and not departing correctly because of the loco pilot i dont knw what he is dng daily after announcement only he is running form some where, i dont knw whether u will read this, because u r getting the salary without any delay, and i am getting only half salary today and this is not only today because of this loco pilot....

                                  On[protected], i approached the private ticket vendor sitting outside the counter on the western side of the kodambakkam railway station. Time 11.20 a. M. When he took time to issue the ticket, i politely requested him to issue the ticket. There was also no other passenger waiting to buy ticket. Unexpectedly, he flew into a rage for no apparent reason. I am 80 years old. "are you that much in a hurry?", he shouted at me. His shouting so unnerved me that i forgot to collect the balance money. On after thought, i suspect, his intention was precisely that.

                                  Hi, I used to take 10:13 AM emu local train from Vandalur to Guindy.. It's always come at least 10 mins late, if you can't run the train on time why not change the time to 10:25AM that's when 10:13 train comes regularly.. 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

                                    I had to pass through Chennai Central suburban railway station yesterday night along with my aged mother. As she had to relieve herself she went to the PAY and USE facility at CHENNAI SUBURBAN RLY STATION. She was asked to pay Rs.5 for using the urinal though the tariff displayed was Rs.2/- when questioned the staff didnt care to respond and behaved rudely.

                                    How can the general public be cheated by overcharging for using PAY and USE facility. It was noticed that many more people who were using the facility were grudgingly paying the extra charge. Request that prompt action be taken in this regard so that the common is not harassed to use a public facility.

                                      I have booked 2 tatkal tickets for my friend and myself to travel from secunderabad to duvvada on 28th december 2018 for visakha express. When i was booking, it was tqwl. Finally one ticket got confirmed and other was in wl. When we were get into the train, tte asked us to show tickets and he asked me to pay the fine for sitting sl. We told him one got confirmed and other in wl with one pnr#. As i'm not aware of the rules so i have taken general ticket as well, bcz as we are ladies moreover travelling night time. So if any issues with tte for safe side i have taken general ticket also. Today i got to know that, as per the irctc rules if its same like above situation it's treated as partial confirmation and the other can sit without any fine. But he forced us to pay fine rs.410/- and not even given any berth. And he asked me to go to general bhogi in running train if we are not ready to pay that amount. I was adjusted in my friends seat entire journey. I didn't get tatkal cancellation refund and paid for general ticket and tte 410/- fine. I have called to railway customer care people in train but they didn't even respond properly. So i thought it's all useless. And throw my tte slip after my journey. Today i have gone through the sites got to know this situation how tte made us fools. How tte charged without knowing any rules? They literally looking for money. I need a solution for this. Please help me.
