I am regular traveler with in kerala by train. People with hell a lot of problems travel to different locations with time scheduled plans. Due to idiotic plans and careless planning of some concern, most of all the trains, mainly incoming trains, are running without any punctuality.

This is a paid service; so you are bound to serve punctually. As a next step i will move on to consumer form with more detailed informations.

    In the past one month i have been trying to book one return ticket for me for sankarankovil with lower berth from the mambalam counter. Every time i get response that there are no tickets with lower berth. Can you please look into this and do the needful. It is surprising to note even one ticket is not available.

      Sir, yesterday i came from chennai to pudukkottai by the rameshwaram express 16851 in s6 compartment as i reserved earlier in sheet numbers 18, 19 and 21 with my wife and two children my pnr number is[protected]Rs.940) unfortunatly i left my ticket in house. But i have the photocopy of the ticket and photo in my mobile and i submit my self and others aadhar card and my identicard to train ticket examiner but he never accepted and he insult in front of others by filthy words that time i have no option, i request him but he not accepted finally again i payed the amount of rs. 1140 and get the challan for only rs. 940 / by him (Ax 0084076) please rectify the problem and resettle the above amount

        Sir there is a parking lot on the madipakkam side. The entrance to the parking lot is very narrow as the vehicle contractor allows only two vehicles at a time. As a result there is lot of congestion and the vehicles pile up on the road. Moreover, those having montly passes also have to wait in the queue. The vehicles coming out of the parking lot face great difficulty to come out during peak hours (From morning 8.30 to 9.30). It would be better if the entrance is widened so that the vehicles with passes can be allowed without waiting and those vehicles coming out also can come easily.

          The careless of tirunelveli railway train announced division. The railway did not announced train platform detail correctly. Due to their careless of duty, the passengers face un convenient. More than hundreds of passengers face problems. Please kindly take necessary action for this. The tirunelveli railway station did not provide proper reason for this complaint, they ignore and provide inappropriate reason. For their careless.

            Hi yesterday i'm travelling to chennai central from nayudupeta.in nayudupeta station iam sitting in the bench. Suddenly one lady coming there and she told me that you can't sit this is reserved in platform. But i'm asking is it reserved. She replied me like dont argue with me. And also she is using some vulgar words. And also call her personnel people to threatening me. Here for safety i'm recorded every thing. I believe the irctc for further action.

              Train no.12617/12618 - mangala ldweep exp. Is categorised as a superfast train and levies additional superfast charge. Earlier the train used to have less stops and good punctuality, but now it takes the same time or more, with more stops, lesser or same speed as that of other ordinary passenger trains like:
              1) 16345/16346-netravati exp,
              2) porbander kochuveli exp, etc..
              Very poor running as compared to other super fast trains running in the shoranur rly stn and panvel rly stn section. Due to this the train has become like a local passenger train in which lot o[censored]nauthorised passenger's board in reserved coaches, leading to overcrowding of coaches & nuisance, affects cleanliness of coaches & toilets, and inconvenience to long distance passenger's.
              This is looting by southern railway division off long distance passenger's by overcharging in name of superfast train, depriving of punctuality with increased stops, thereby causing inconvenience to reserved passenger's travelling on board by allowing unauthorised passenger's in reserved coaches.

                I came to receive my wife and kid to tamabaram station today at 6:45 am. When i entered into the west tamabaram station, there was a huge line. So many people are in hurry to take tickets and there was only one counter open. There were around 30-35 passengers waiting, but i see the second counter was not open. The timings mentioned on the counter as 6 am - 21:30.

                    Sir,
                    Reached coimbatore railway station around 2000 hrs to board the nilgiri express on 07 nov 2018. Reserved ticket in b2 - 3rd ac compartment. I am a senior citizen aged 70 years, underwent aortic valve replacement, unable to walk, wearing foot fall splint in my left leg. Went to the enquiry counter, asked for battery car service (Platform 2). The person in counter asked me to look out for the number displayed in entry gate. Called that number, received reply switched off. Again went to the counter and told them. He said go to 2nd platform, the battery car will be there. There is no lift also to go to number 2 platform. With very hard struggle reached platform 2 by climbing the stairs and waited. But could not find the battery car. Enquired in a book stall. They said the battery car is under repair for the last 2 months. The person in enquiry counter do not know even this. I feel travelling by train from coimbatore is horrible. Immediate action be taken to service the battery car. A person sitting in inquiry counter should have upto minute information

                      Hi,

                      I am daily travelling in arakkonam to chennai central emu trains. As a passenger me and fellow passengers facing harassment by transgender. They are forcing us to give money and harming the public. Even we have rpf at all station they not even caring about this one.
                      Please rectify this issue as earlier possible and take action on transgender.

                        I was traveling from kollam (Qln) to virudhunagar (Vpt) in tambaram express. But from sengottai people don't understand that it is an express train and the travel using the passenger ticket. The railways they don't even have ticket checking or a announcement. People are also carrying crackers in this train. So i felt it was an unsafe journey ever i had.

                          I booked a ticket to shirdi online which was rac2, 3, 4, 5 till23.10.18 and so we canelled the ticket.
                          To avoid losing a chance to go to shirdi, we booked a ticket vide pnr no [protected] on 30.9.18.
                          We had already booked two tickets on 30.8.18 in pnr no [protected] from shirdi to dadar and
                          In pnr no [protected] from cst mumbai to chennai-both using handicapped dauughtersâ concession.
                          On 30.9.18, the person booking pnr [protected] refused to entertain the concession for handicapped. My son-in-law swaminathan went to book the ticket. The person asked via phone at booking counter the pnr nos of for the ticket booked using concesstions on 30.8.18. Still, the person refused saying the concession shows handicapped in certificate and the online certificate shows âmrâ in the concession and the person asked my son-in-law to go to central station office and get it corrected. Only 5 tickets were available and he asked me. I told him to take the tickets without conc ession since if he goes to central station and comes back the seats may get booked. The person said other two bookings were wrong and there would be audit objection. I attach the online certificate which says mr. I came to know only form them mr means mentally #. Whatever it is mr or without mr, she is handicapped and so entitled to concession.
                          So i request you to refund the difference in fare due to concession for my daughter sankari and escort and send a cheque to my address above.

                            The parking contractor has placed goons without even any dress code for them, today i have parked my car @05:50 am and came back @06:05 am they have informed me to pay rs.35.40, firstly i have enquired is that the cost to be paid, he has rudely told that it has to be paid there's no free parking, i inquired that on the ticket it has been printed that it has to be charged for "parking fee per 3 hours or part there of". As he was not giving me any proper clarification and i have no information, so i have given him rs 50 he has asked me to provide change, i had paid 20 *2 i. E 40 rupees, without even tendering the change of rs 4.50 he is going when i have asked, rudely asking me to tender exact change else he can't, but huse change of coins was placed on his table still he' is not interested to pay me. He was rude and behaved like a goon and not bothered to pay back the change to customers. Firstly i wanted to know is that correct face he is charging from customers, secondly whether it is not his responsibility to provide change to customers, how come customers can provide exact change.                             I booked suvidha train for Chennai to Tambaram.. train delay by 1hr 40mins.. not only this time, it seems this train is always delay about 02 hrs..
                            Please arrive as per the scheduled time. Only public getting affected by this. All our scheduled​ works spoiled. Kindly avoid delay in future.

                              Madam/sir,
                              1 for nearly a month lift is not working (Towards velachery). Don't know whom to contact. If we ask in ticket counter they are asking to contact engineering department. Is it passengers duty to do this!? It is very difficult to climb stairs in the morning.
                              2. Escalators are not working for nearly or more than a year. They are not fixed. The new one is in the railway station for many days. When will be the work completed?
                              3. Many passengers are sitting in the train entrances comfortably even in rush hours. Why railway department is not considering these things?

                              Please do the needful as soon as possible.

                              There is no much space in Palakkad express from Chennai to Palakkad since the train uses unique route we need to focus more on this train. Nearly 400- 600 people are traveling in general compartments alone.kindly consider this as a serious complaint from people around Salem, Namakkal, Karur and dindukkal.

                                I have booked reservation ticket no 84322370 pnr[protected] to travel from hydrabad to erode on[protected], but to the last minute of train depature my concerened ticket was not confirmed.

                                Then avoid teadious journey i have choose bus travels to continue my journey.
                                Hereby i am reqesting you to process my unused ticket and refund my amount.
                                Also i attached the copy of ticket and requesting letter which i have send to your office via register post.

                                  I have perfomed journey on 01/06/2018 from kollam junction to chennai central on 01/06/2018 by by special train. My pnr no. [protected] 3rd ac. But unfortunately 3rd coach was not worked. At that time.. My ticket changed from 3rd ac to sl coach s11 41, 44. But no lcc issued by the tte. No. Tte was entered in the said coach from kollam to chennai. At the time of arrival at chennai myself tdt has been made in the chennai cnetral railway station office vide tdr no. 255524 dt 02/06/2018. But no refudn was made by southern railway till date.

                                    The auto / cab drivers stand all over the entrance near the car parking and keep blocking it and cause a lot of hardship to the general public. Its been happening all the time. They keep harassing the passengers like me to take their ride. Even if i refuse one, the other comes over block my path and ask for ride. This contiues for at least 10 times.

                                    You can't deny this by saying that such things do not happen. If cannot deny then you must be aware of it and still not taking any action. Because as far as i know this harassment is happening for many months may be for years.

                                    Hope you take necessary action to curtain these people from entering the station or contain them to one particular place behind barricade.

                                      My name is jagadeesh,
                                      I got a ticket from chennai beach to guindy but the ticket which is issued at the station is to ambattur. I took that ticket and i got the train which will goes to guindy after arriving at guindy station the ticket master verify the ticket and he made me to sit in the office for the payment of 255inr as it's a invalid ticket for guindy.
                                      I gave the explaining to that particular person i. E, i asked the ticket for guindy but they gave to me to ambattur i don't know this ticket is invalid to guindy and then i replied to that person that sir iam going to every day to nungambakkam from guindy whenever i take ticket they are giving me the ticket to washermanpet in that way i think ambattur is the last station for that route so i got the train. But he is very rude to me and made me to sit in his office not more than 25 mins and finally i paid 150inr because of iam having only 180inr now i want to resolve this issue and i want compensation for the insult happened me at guindy station

                                        I have travelled quite a few times by shatabdi express between chennai and coimbatore. I observe that the catering is done by some north indian agency who has employed mostly north indian persons who cannot understand a word of tamil. Also, it is shocking that lunch / dinner served is nothing from south indian cuisine. Once, i got dal, bengan bhaja in lunch. Another occasion, i was served paneer paratha and typical punjabi gravy. I wonder if such catering is done in any of the northern railway trains, where passengers are served sambhar, rasam or kootu.
                                        Please look into this complaint and stop serving north indian dishes which we find extremely unpalatable. After charging nearly rs 200/- donot insult us like this.
