I was waiting in virudhunager railway station on 23-january-2022 in ticket counter from 3.00 AM for getting a ticket towards Narikudi. But no one was there till 5.00 AM.. I asked to the station master he didn't respond properly.I saw a lady sleeping in announcement room and enquired her.. she replied harshly that tickets will be given after 5.30 AM only.But she was the one in duty.In between this time there is a lot of trains crossing virudhunager But since the seat was empty most of the passengers boarded the train without tickets.

    Address: Tirumangalam Railway Station, Madurai

    We are a regular passenger from Tiruchirapalli to Tirumangalam railway station. train number 22627, 22628 TPJ TVC express and 16127, 16128 Guruvayur expresses does not stop at Tirumangalam station which is a hub for as much as more than 3 lakhs of population. 16127, 16128 Guruvayur express even stop at Srirangam, Pennadam stations(which are smaller destinations), in this regard i urge you to provide atleast 1 minute stop so that hundreds of passengers and railways get benefited daily.kindly look into thematter and oblige the same. Kindly please take action so that many passengers from nearby villages in Tirumangalam get Railway facilities.

    Only 1 train 16723 Ananthapuri express is stopped which is at midnight in Tirumangalam, it is difficult for female passengers and children to travel in midnight so please take a look in it.

      I had approached the railway ticket counter on 13/08/2021 at 7:45 am. Chennai central suburban railway station. Mr ravichandran, counter clerk - ticket issuer denied to issue the ticket after showing my bank employee id card. I am the branch manager of state bank of india, ponneri branch. Due to that i want to travel by cab from chennai to ponneri. The expenses incurred by me was rs 1500. But i got a ticket from the minjur railway station. Whether the rules applicable to different employee for denying the work. The railway is one of psu, if he is denying the service and use a abusive word to the frontline workers. This cause me a mental agony. So that i need a appologise letter from that employee/ disciplinary proceedings want to be initiated against the employee/ i need a compensation of the travel charges and mental agony compensation of rs 50000/- to me

        Considering the current pandemic situation, it has been advised to make 50% accomodation. However, since the First class compartments are adjoining to Ladies compartment, the ladies who haven't afforded the first class tickets are overcrowding the First class compartments leaving those who have afforded the first tickets without any space. It's unfair that we are being charged heavily without proper service offered. This has been a common situation in the suburban trains between Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu during the peak hours.

          Sir,
          The southern railways has imposed restriction only in Chennai EMU local trains from[protected] to get train tickets only after production of fully vaccinated certificate. This move is good move but without providing Sufficient time the restriction has been imposed within short time during Pongal festival season it has to be reconsider for the following things;

          1.During Pongal festival season many peoples from in and around Chennai go to native places to celebrate Pongal in their villages by long distance trains, for boarding long distance trains peoples uses local train access from their areas, which is easy access to both Chennai Central, Egmore stations to carry luggages, specially new dresses bags. Whereas there is no such restriction to produce fully vaccinated certificate in long distance trains to buy tickets that created lot of confusion among peoples.

          2. Admittedly there are some peoples not vaccinated fully, many single vaccinated peoples, many other ailments peoples not in a position to vaccinate to get local trains tickets. But for boarding long distance trains they have to go by local buses with heavy luggages or try metro trains with luggages or private taxis, where there is no fully vaccinated certificate restriction. This also created lot of confusion among peoples.

          3. Imposing restrictions during Pongal festival season to travel in Chennai EMU local trains made peoples to spend more money in buses, metro train and private autos, taxis to reach Chennai Central and Egmore, Tambaram or any boarding stations which is extra burden to poor peoples during pandemic periods using local trains.

          4. In a group of family members traveling to native place in long distance trains for Pongal festival in which one or two not vaccinated fully or single vaccinated, hence not possible to get local trains tickets for all hence all have to take alternative options of buses, Metro, taxis which is little bit costly comparing local trains, where there is no fully vaccinated certificate restriction.

          5. Fully vaccinated certificate restriction may be imposed on peak hours as earlier imposed by southern railways (7 to 9.30am, 4.30pm to 7pm) where there is huge crowds admittedly but during non peak hours crowd is generally less nowadays and considering Pongal festival season, the fully vaccinated certificate restriction to get tickets in Chennai EMU local trains may be reconsidered considering the Pongal festival season for poor peoples.

          I humbly request you to reconsider the restriction imposed to get tickets in Chennai local Emu trains only on production of fully vaccinated certificate for the sake of general public at least during the Pongal festival seasons and allow poor peoples to get Chennai local Emu trains tickets without any restrictions.

            Hello im mohan from trichy.. Now im going this train no(12636) vaigai superfast express., this train route was totally changed without no prior information.. This is totally disguised... I need a clear information about why you changed the route and i need a refund for this travel..

              My PNR number is [protected]. I travelled from Sivakasi to Chennai Egmore on 30.11.2021 in II AC Compartment No.15074C. The AC was not working from the very beginning. It tripped off frequently. The attender tried to make it good at Madurai and Dindigul, but his efforts went in vain.
              We got suffocated inside the Compartment, got swetting and the journey was very cumbersome.
              I request to look in to the matter and refund the entire ticket fare for two persons.

                  The attimanam railway under DRM/ CHENNAI gate the railway gate crossing the vechiles and tractor and lorry and two wheeler crossing the attimanam railway gate is damaged and public using this spot having more pains with tears . Hence please repair permanently and save accidents at the earliest .please help

                    Yesterday I travelled from coimbatore to chennai by CBE-MAS SFEXP (02674) (CHERAN EXPRESS) in coach number S-8. Our seat was just near the door. Though this train starts from Coimbatore the bathroom was stinking and the foul smell filled our seat area and it was difficult sit !! It seems it was not at all cleaned !! Bathroom was just slushy and water was not flowing out freely !! My 85 year old mother in law was with me and she found it very difficult to breath and we were forced to keep the windows open (which is a risky affair during night time !!). Really the worst journey !! Railways is paying a bonus equal to 78 days wages to their employees and this is quality of work they do !! Really pathetic !!
                    Hope concerned railway employee is pulled up for his/her negligence and it does not occur in future.

                                Sir, The car Parking charges by southern railway batched workers are cheating the public. They do not have neither watch nor clock with them and noting wrong time in parking ticket.

                                I entered into station by 3:35 pm that parking charge worker noted as 3:00 pm by manually in the parking ticket. When I asked him then he overwrites as 3:35 pm. If I didn’t notice, while return after 40 minutes they would have charge me again.

                                This is happened 2nd time to me and I was paid the additional amount of rupees 50 for 45 minutes total parking time.(I paid totally 100)

                                  Sir i have approached the concerned staff regarding refund for the ticket cancellation but i haven't received appropriate response from them as per the railway regulations refund can be proccesed before half n hour for the departures, but i have applied before 2 hours of the journey they havent given proper response and told that we didn't approached them.. So if anything required Kindly check with the CCTV footage, i request you to refund me the amount

                                    Dear Sir, I understand that as per the rules, whenever train passes through the railway crossing gate and if there is a sign "w" the train passing through has to whistle and there is also a number of times train has to honk. But I noticed that sometimes some train is continously honking even when they are far away approaching the railway cross gate till they cross the gate which is causing lots of disturbance in the neighborhood

                                      We a group of Almost 35 menbers are boarding daily mmts at hitec city to james street before lockdown. After lockdown timings of mmts are changed and we dont have train from 9am tp 10am at hitec city we are now forced to prefer rtc busrs. Even in the evening hours train coming at 6.15 if it is shofted to 6.40 it will help most o[censored]s saving our time and we can skip traffic jams daily we are facing while boarding inyo rtc buses

                                      Request you pls resume mmts BETWEEN 9am to 10am and also shift or change evening mmts to 6.40
