I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the resolution offered for my damaged baggage issue on Spicejet flight no. SG-54, which I traveled on January 27, 2023. Despite my previous attempts to resolve this matter, I am yet to receive a satisfactory response.
As a passenger on that flight, I experienced significant damage to my brand new trolley bag. Immediately upon discovering the damage, I promptly filed a complaint report at the Spicejet office located in the airport. Since then, I have diligently followed up on the progress of my complaint for the past two weeks.
Regrettably, the resolution provided by Spicejet thus far has been inadequate. I was informed that they were willing to offer compensation of Rs.800.0, which I respectfully rejected. Considering the fact that the trolley bag damaged was brand new and cost Rs.7678.0, it is evident that the compensation amount is unjustifiable and does not reflect the actual value of the item.
I kindly request that you review my case once again and reconsider the compensation amount. Given that the damage to my baggage was significant, I believe it is only fair to be provided with a full refund equivalent to the cost of the trolley bag, which is Rs.7678.0. I trust that Spicejet understands the importance of customer satisfaction and will take appropriate measures to rectify this situation.
Please let me know the necessary steps to proceed further in this matter and provide me with an update on the progress of my complaint.
