Two days back I went there with my Thunderbird 350 for service. When I was entering, I was shocked seeing a Service Mechanic guy handling his customer's bike terribly bad. He broke the red indicator. I have requested him to handle customer's bike properly. They said that if something happened because of service, they will take responsibility. They gave my 1 year old bike after service at 6, 30PM. They charged me 3220 Bucks for that! I was unable to inspect my bike fully due to light fail on that day. I took my bike simply. Within 5 km of ride, i have heard an odd sound from rear end. Then noticed a problem in plate that protect chain from dust. Two of the screws and nuts were not there. I took it in hand went to home, since that work day was already over for them. On the next day I got a call from them and asked for feedback. I have politely requested them to fix the problem caused. They agreed and I went back with that plate and bike to fix it. When I asked the service engineer, he said that he can fix only if I buy the required material.
I asked how much. They said 50 Bucks for 2 screws that are actually worth for not more than 5 Bucks. I was shocked if that was made out of Silver or Gold. Then only I realized their business logic. Break it, and charge for fixing it. Just a screw costs 50 bucks and that too happened due to their mistake. I took the bike off immediately from them. Otherwise they would have removed the break wire to let my red blood flow in the road and enjoy watching. I simply went outside and fixed it for 20 Bucks.
So the conclusion is, They use customer's farm to feed their buffaloes. Was this information helpful? |
