SRS Travels — Highly Unprofessional Team: Issues with coupon conversion to cash for refund (ticket cancellation) | |||||
Disappointed by very unprofessional and careless online SRS customer support team. I had a single ticket issued for a return journey for 4 passengers worth 6, 000 via SRS website which I had to cancel due to personal reasons. while the on-line cancellation was successful, SRS Travels has a policy to convert the cancelled ticket into a coupon based refund for future purpose instead of cash refund. As such should one wish to convert the coupon to a cash refund - it can be done by emailing the SRS team at [protected]@caritorsolutions.com . Based on the policies and guidelines I emailed srs team to which they promptly responded acknowledging that the cash refund will be initiated & it'll be credited via online merchant used while booking the ticket. The real issue lies post the acknowledgement where the team just very comfortably forgets to initiate the refund and let the customer assume and wait for 7 - 8 working days that the refund is initiated. Please note that I had 2 coupons to be converted and refunded and despite of sending numerous emails over last 18 days the team is just not bothered. Much to my surprise their first response after 5 email follow up was that they had a "technical issue". while my first coupon is somehow refunded SRS now is delaying the refund of 2nd coupon even after multiple follow ups . There is no particular number to reach the customer support directly. Most numbers reached forced me to write to this particular email only. My honest request is how much will a customer have to struggle to just get a simple refund? I find SRS team to be intentionally delaying the refund process to push to 90 days cap after which the coupon can not be refunded. This is highly an unprofessional behaviour and unethical on SRS part. I strongly suggest NOT to use SRS travels in case there are even slightest of chances that your trip may get cancelled and if the ticket amount is huge. Its been almost a month today and I still have not got my partial refund which leaves me thinking if there should be a legal way to be considered. Was this information helpful? | |||||
