SRS Travels — rude, arrogant, di-respectful driver - umesh | |||
I was travelling form bangalore to udupi on the 3rd of may 2019. I reached 15 mins before the boarding time. I had a luggage and there was no space inside the bus/under my berth to keep the luggage and waiting for someone to open the dikki and help me put the luggage. The person checking the status of the passenger was polite enough to say that the cleaner had stepped away for a tea and i should wait for 2-3 mins which was understood. After a few minutes out of nowhere this man 'umesh-the driver' comes and opens the dikki door and stands there like a statue bluntly refusing to help me with the luggage into the dikki. I look at him expecting him to help as the suitcase was quite heavy for me to load. He starts behaving rudely and stars yelling at me and tells me ' this bus doesn't have a cleaner and its not his duty to load the luggage and yells at me for talking on the phone but to put more effort in loading the luggage myself into the dikki and he is a 'driver' and he wont be loading the luggage and keeps yelling at me till he is out of sight. Ms. Srs, we all know you one of the leaders in the travel business. Please do not let such disrespectful people ruin your reputation and we expect you to take some action. I have been travelling for 9 years, almost every month or more sometimes and there are a lot of good people outside who have been helpful. This is the first time i am hearing a driver say ' drivers don't load luggage'. Let take that its not drivers duty, but when the person (Here its me) is unable to load the luggage because of the weight, as a human you would help the person and not yell and behave rudely. Srs, please hire humans and not animals. My ticket costed me rs.950 and i definitely did not pay the money to hear from your driver 'umesh'. I have been a loyal customer but never again will i travel in srs again. I know you will not lose anything by me stopping to travel in srs, but gradually you will lose a lot more if you have such people and not address your customer complaints. He was so arrogant that when i got down, he just opened the dikki and stood there waiting seem=ning me stuggle pulling out the luggage and started smirking. Srs, we expect better from a market leader I am giving the travel details below, hoping you to take some actions against this 'umesh'.
