My brother sent a courier from chennai to theni on aug 21, 2017.
We did not receive the courier till aug 24. When tracked online, we came to know that parcel is in theni local st courier office.
My parents went to collect it from the office. My parents asked why was a delay in delivery and why they did not receive a call about the parcel. The lady in the office treated my parents in a very unprofessional and rude way.
1. She said even if the address is clear, st courier will not deliver the parcel if the mobile number is not reachable. They will first call in mobile and not prefer to deliver it first
2. The parcel has two phone numbers (Mom and dad). If one number is not reachable she will not try for other number and simply put the parcel in her office aside.
3. She said if we are facing difficulty in delivering parcels from st courier, she scolded my parents not to prefer st courier at all.
All her responses were very rude and disrespectful way. As a customer we are happy to track it online and enquire at the office directly incase of delays. But as a service provider she should learn/ be educated by officials to treat the customers with respect and proper responses.
At the office the parcels were scattered around the floor and she was literally walking over them.
