I was asked to pay 10, 000 by one of the sales agent Rachit for booking a room. The website said the booking amount is 500. But the sales agent made me pay 10, 000 without mentioning that it is a non refundable amount.

I dont think any organization would make a customer pay 10, 000 without the customer checking out the room. The pictures sent to me did not match the room. The place was dirty and did not deserve a monthly rent of 25, 000.

Now when I have approached the property I am being told that I can only write emails to [protected]@stanzaliving.com. These guys do not understand my problem and give me standard replies.

While booking a room more than 10 agent will call us many times but when it comes to resolving issues no one responds back.

Please help. I have been cheated and robbed of my hard earned money.

Updated by Adil33 The issues is still pending and no replies from the operations team. Moreover I had asked them for a refund before the contract was signed. My contract was supposed to start from 22nd April and I had asked for a refund on 20th April itself.

No. The team at operations takes ages to reply. They should learn something from their marketing and sales team. They are so pro active.

Please escalate this on twitter tagging Consumer Affairs, Hyd City Police, and KTR office. Make sure you send the follow-up emails to "operations at the rate stanzaliving dot com" and not "operations at the rate stanzaliving dot freshdesk dot com".

I had to receive a security deposit and followed this process. Got the refund in a few hours.

This is in Bangalore. Do you know how we can escalate it here. I tried everything from leaving a feedback on Playstore to countless emails to the operations team.
