I joined Dtwelve Spaces Pvt Ltd. (Stanza Living) as tenant with 6 months agreement from Oct 15, 2023 to April 15, 2024. I was living in Arlington House at Q City, Hyderabad. If I had broken the contract before 6 months as agreed, I am okay to lose Security Deposit. On[protected] the Landlord of the Arlington House came and disconnected water and Electricity. They made some changes in policy regarding electricity bill and forcing us to follow, there are no smart meters installed for each room, we have to pay based on building consumption every month. There is a cafe which runs all the heavy appliances. They have charged around 1000rd per person for a small room( 3 lights, 1 fan). Room is double sharing so two persons are there, so around 2000 for that small room.

I had moved in on 24th September 2022.
I had to move out on 17/10/22 due to very unfortunate reason.
I had paid the whole process fee on 3rd of August 2022. No due as well.
The Sales Person had assured Stanza promises to refund the complete deposit after 6 months of move out.
I have repeatedly called and mailed them. No response....

I stayed for 8 months from 15th-08-2022 to 4th-april-2023. When i joined they said the lock in period will be of 3 months. And i signed the contract which clearly mentioned that lock in period is 3 months. Now when i exited the house they are saying lock in period is 12 months and they are not refunding the security deposit amount Rs. 8908.
