Hello,
I had paid my EMI of health insurance in the grace period after talking to one of their sales representative for which they didn't mention whose account do I have to pay the money from. So, I paid it from my child's account who is also included in the policy. Now after the money was paid and the grace period was over the managers told that the payment will not be accepted as it was not paid from the policy holder's account which is completely unjustified as the account holder is involved in the policy too and is not just a third party. It has been more than 12 days the managers are asking to mail numerous times and won't just give a reply to the mails but just give contacts to talk to the other guy about it. My policy is till March 2023 in the papers and now I have asked my lawyer to take legal action for the same in the consumer court this coming week. We customers are no fool to be rolling from one representative to another and keep telling them our story and keep floating mails to which replies are just non existent. If you truly didn't want the policy to be renewed your rep shouldn't have asked me to pay the money in the grace period itself. We have been loyal customers of Star since 2014 and have more than 12 policies from them and this is how they treat their customers. Frauds.
