I have been using Star Health Insurance for past 7 years now and have been paying my premiums on time.
I am 72 years old dependent person with zero income.
My policy number with Star Health Insurance is P/231117/01/2022/008824 and ID card number is[protected]. My policy is registered under the product Senior Citizens Red Carpet Health Insurance Policy.
My health deteriorated in the month of August when all of a sudden blood in my stool was detected. My health deteriorated in such a way that I was unable to eat, sleep and pass stool. The doctors in Varanasi suggested I to show in a Metro city like Delhi, Mumbai or Gurgaon to get a proper treatment.
In a rush my family took me overnight to Delhi but my health further deteriorated in the train and had to be taken to CK Birla Hospital in an Ambulance as I was unable to breathe properly and was admitted in an emergency. As my condition wasn't stable my son took me to the hospital where his physician consultant is located.
In a wary of things we couldn't check that the hospital is not empanelled for Cashless but for a after reimbursement.
After getting discharged I submitted all the bills in a proper format but my claim is rejected. Can you please help in this grievance as I am a no income 74 year old person.
I got admitted to CK birla on 23rd August and got discharged on 26th August 2022. My Claim Intimation number is CIR/2023/231117/0724399
