[Resolved] State Bank Of India [SBI] — Amount debited twice for a single transaction
I placed an order on Amazon.com on 1st March 2022 amounting to Rs. 1, 130. The order details page on Amazon.com properly shows an order of Rs. 1, 130 but when I see the online bank statement on SBIs website, there are two transaction rows each with a debit amount of Rs. 1, 130 as opposed to one row with the same amount. The bottom line is that the amount debited from my bank account is twice as it should have been. I'm really upset that such a thing happened, and want to get it resolved as soon as possible. So, the resolution I'm expecting is to get the "extra" debited amount back while the actual payment stays(I don't want to cancel the order). I'm attaching the order invoice from Amazon as well as the bank statement generated from SBIs website as proofs. Was this information helpful?
