Hi,
My name is Anand Vadivelu living in Norway and having NRI accounts with SBI. Since last 5 months I have not been getting any OTP to my mobile/email. I have contact my home branch, customer care and tried all possible apps. But, nothing help. Because, they don't understand the issue at all. For example, customer care executive says that, I need to have India number to get the OTP. I explained NRI account will get OTP to the number used in the residing country. He did not understand at all.
On top of this, it is not only for me. All of my NRI friends who live in Norway and having SBI account are not getting any OTP. Possible it is an issue for all the SBI NRI customer in Norway.
Unfortunately, I have my home loan account with SBI and not able to log in to my account and see what is happening inside, since it is asking me to change the password, for which I require to put the OTP. Also, not able to send the funds to my family.
Can you imagine a bank not sending OTP to all the NRIs living in Norway? And they do not even realize this is happening for 5 months.
What a shame!!
At least after this complaint, hope some action is taken.
