Sir, SBI had issued a credit card No. [protected] in the year 2001.Due to unsatisfactory service extended and poor operating system of SBI such as not acknowledging receipt of payment and indulging in delaying in receipt of payment so as to put the customers in to trouble in terms of levying delayed charges, exorbitant amount a/c interest etc, I had wound up the card and the cancelled (torn off) card was sent to SBI in the year 2003.After 4 years in July 2006, suddenly, the recovery agent of SBI called up and started torturing for making payment of Rs.14 598.This was followed by a notice dt.28/7/2006 through its advocate stating that before initiating any legal action, SBI intends for settlement through a process of Conciliation and accordingly one Mr. Jay K.Shah at Ahmedabad is to be visited who would act as Conciliator. The matter was accordingly discussed with him on 19/8/06 and records of payment made well in time against all dues were given. He after verification confirmed that report on NIL outstanding would be put up to SBI and copy would be sent to me. However till date no letter /report from him has been received. Further the matter was discussed with one Mr. Sanjay Mahajan of SBI's advocate.He after thourough verification also confirmed that there is no outstanding and no report of any bouncing of instrument etc and hence there could possible an error. I have also replied to SBI notice dt.28/7/2006 through my advocate on 8/9/2006 and also written a letter dt. 6/9/2006 to BM, SBI Credit Card Corporate Office Ashram Rd, Ahmedabad.Since then I have not received any reply till date from SBI.However suddenly a recovery agent of SBI called me up in November 2008 and started threatening that unless I make immediate payment of Rs.30000/-, I will have to face unforeseen consequences.He was not prepared to listen and refused to give the details of outstanding.The above kind of act is totally immoral, irresponsible and Draconian act of indulging in recovering money in an ungraceful, shamefulway by such a big financial institute is totally unwarranted.Hence I approach you to get legitimate support and justice.

This si a tactics adopted by a reputed bank like SBI..I'm also facing trouble from recovery agents for a card they say, I had used in 2001. I told them that I didn't had ne such card.
Why did they wake up in 2011..and who provides then telephone nos is a mistry to me also...previosly I had complained to the police and the recovery agent stopped contacting me but it seems the recovery agent has changed and again the trauma started.
Please help...

    I was informed by SBI Card department that and amount of Rs.4400.00+2180.00 made purchased on 28.01.09 at Faridabad against my card No.[protected]. Whereas the said card is with me and on 28.01.2009 i was on official tour to Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Pipelines Division, Bijwasan, New Delhi and my residence is at Gurgaon and I posted at Panipat. On confirmation from SBI Card helpline that new card was despatched to me on 5th January 2009 whereas the same was not received by me. I lodged the complaint on 29.01.2009 vide complaint number A[protected] and till date no reply received from the concerned department for waiving the purchasing of Rs.4400+2180.00 which was not purchased by me.

      i m md shabbar. presently in amritsar. my home is in delhi. in month of nov i went home and i withdrawn some money from jahangirpuri atm. when i came back to amritsar i submitted 5000 rs in bank on 22 dec 08. on 02 jan 09 again i submitted 5000 rs and when i saw my balance it was only 5000 in place of 10000 rs. when i complained in the brach they said that money was withdrawn from atm (branch 4292). but there is no branch of the code 4292. they said that money was withdrawn from atm card so they cannot do any thing. my branch is in rajasansi sbi branch.

      My account shows debit of Rs.4, 000/- but i have not taken any money From ATM Machine.on date 29/4/2009..Though my account statement shows it that my A/c is debited worth Rs.4000, I am confident that it is false withdrawal.i also given complain to our Local Head office.but i can't take any respose.they will only say to me Only ATM & ATM Related excuses...

      A COMPLAINT REGARDING ATM TRANSACTION
      Sir, I Amit kumar Rai pursuing computer application in bangalore.I am a SBI card holder card no:[protected] A/c no:-[protected] Tinsukia Sbi Bazar Branch ASSAM.I made a withdrawl of Rs 13000 from AXIS BANK ATM, kumarswamy layout, Bangalore-78 on 9 feburary 2009.But the widthwral amount was not recived and the amount was debited from my account.I submitted a complaint letter letter no:- B.M.L.NO.35/308 DT.17.09.09 to my sbi home branch with transaction slips in this regard for refunding my debited amount.But after nine months also the amount is not refunded.In the middle i submitted no of reminders to the bank even i send a letter to the SBI general manager DISPUR and AGM officer BELAPUR but after all this the debited amount is not refunded.I contacted the branch in this regard but they ask more time to refund.
      So, i request you to look in this problem and help me in this matter as soon as poossible.

        every month threatening letters i have not even used the card once iwas afraid thugs will be chasing me

        gods grace they have cancelld the card after robbing me

        I have sent the following mail to you on 05.02.2009 but I have not received any reply from your end. Even though I have been offered by other banks credit cards without any annual fee I have used only SBI card for the past 9 years and now I have to reconsider my usuage of my SBI card with the payment of annual fee. I once again request you to waive my annual fee otherwise I have to take a decision to surrender my card.

        I am a SBI credit card Holder for the past nine years and promptly paying my dues in time without any over due. While issuing the credit card to me at that time I was told that this card is entirely FREE for life time. But I am surprised to note that this year you have charged the Annual fee for my free card. Cosidering my previous on time payments for the past nine years I request you to waiver my annual fee for my SBI credit card for this year.

        Please be noted that you have cahrged over limit fee Rs.500/= against my outstanding amount of Rs.18402/=. This has already discussed with your customer care officials. Out of 18402/=, you have charged an finance charge of Rs.230 plus GST of Rs.31/= . During that period my outstanding was Rs.4684/= and I made other transactions on emergency (including Insurance). But you are charged for the usage of Rs.141 extra ( my credit limit is Rs.18000/=) an amount of rs.500/= and I requested over phone and you are adjusted only 50%.

        Now you are sending a broacher to cheat the customer saying that 0% interest for cash withdrawals for 60 days, but you are hiding the transaction fee which will be more than 47% on the minimum amout of cahs withdrawals through ATM. I called your customer cell and discussed, but he was not able to give a proper reply, so i sent a mail to RBI, which will be as follows.

        I need a proper reply on the above issue.

        Sir,

        I am holding credit cards from 5 banks and doing transactions from years and paying in time. Now I received the monthly statement from SBI, and along with a broacher stating that 0% interest for up to 60 days on ATM Cash withdrawal during the period from March 1st to 30th April. In terms and conditions they added that there will be a transaction fee for Rs.275 or 2.5% which ever is higher on withdrawal of minimum amount of Rs.3500/ and above.

        I would like to inform you that a person intent to withdraw Rs.3500/=, he has to pay Rs.275/= which will be more than 47.2%. Such practices should be controlled by Reserve Bank of India for the poor public. This is not a fare deal from a service organisation like bank. I hope RBI may take some necessary steps in this regards.

        i got a new sbi card the bank person told me that they will give me 1.5 lac as credit limit but they have given only 22 k as credit limit and they dint confirm me wheather i need the card or not so i told to cancel the card but they are not doing it

          I have made transaction on 30/12/2008 from one of the ATM at C.V.Raman Nagar, DRDO Campus, Bangalore.
          I did first transaction for Rs.2000/- which was not successful and I didn’t receive any amount. After that I used second ATM, besides the first one, this time the transaction of Rs.2000/- was successful.
          Now I checked balance amount in my account, which was showing only one transaction, which is right.

          When I checked balance, on second day, I saw there were two transactions done on 30/12/2008 and the amount was also deducted from my account, however I receive amount for only one transaction (second) and other was false (first).

          I have already sent, complaint application to my parent bank(Chennai).

          Till not i don't have any information from them.

          When i contact respective branch, the attitude of bank person was so rude towards me. He also told me to forget the amount or else contact you parent branch, they can not do any thing.

          I have already withdrawn all my amount from SBI account and transfered to my ICICI account, as this is not first instance i faced with SBI.

            Sir,

            I am an employee of MTNL Delhi (a PSU of Govt Of India). I have applied for Housing loan (Take over Loan from ICICI Bank) in State Bank of India Swasthya Vihar, Delhi-92.

            In this regard I submit that

            1. I have submitted the photo copies of all the sale deeds starting from 23.12.1983.

            2. The original sale deeds from 1983 upto 1996 may be with the M/S ODEAN BUILDERS. But I am not at all directly related to the Builder.

            3. The sale deed of 1996 made in the name of Saroj Gupta by M/S ODEAN BUILDERS and the sale deed of 2005 made on me by Saroj Gupta, are with ICICI bank A letter from ICICI bank in this regard has already been submitted with the application.

            Sh. Aditya Madan Advocate, Standing Counsel SBI ( S-496, Greater Kailash-1, New Delhi-110048, Pone: 29230558, 29234668, Mob: [protected]) made me a call from his Mobile No. [protected] at 14 hrs on 02/02//2009. He told me that as per the guidelines provided to him by SBI, the original sale-deeds starting from 1983 onward is to be arranged by me for verification, otherwise your loan can not be approved.

            As far as my knowledge is concerned, the verification of sale-deeds is normally being done by the Advocate Counsel of the Bank from the Registrar Office.

            I am feeling very much herassed and cheated, as an amount of Rs. 3200/- against legal verification has already been paid by me to SBI.

            Again I need a copy of Guidelines Issued if any by SBI to Sh Aditay Madan Advocate.

              I have a SBI Debit card. My a/c no is [protected], SBI, HAL Branch, Bangalore(1114). As per the scheme during last july or so, i had used my debit card for payment at various places during purchase of items or for other payments. I was supposed to get cash back @5%, subject to max of Rs 1000. But till today, this amt has not been credited to my A/c. Kindly look into this and do the needful

              I have purchased ₹23500 / worth samsung mob. Phone on 17/10/2014 from Value plus retail Pvt. Ltd. 26/6 Behl Chowk Rajpur Road Dehradun(Uttarakhand) India .               Back in 2014 I purchased a Samsung mobile from on of the mobile stores (Virtuaal Retail (P) Ltd) Sector 18 Noida. They offered me a 10% cash back if I purchase using my SBI card, thinking to avail this offer i purchased the mobile using SBI card however i haven't received my cash back yet. I have the copy of my bill and my cash back id is 3239295. Can any one look into it.

                i have not recieved my atm card of state bank of india. Its been two months since i m waiting for my debit card of sbi. I went to my branch that is AZAD MARKET BRANCH OF SBI BANK but no responce. They said i will recieve my card within two weeks but card has not come yet. Also they were not giving me the proper answer. I opened my account in Nov, 2008 but i have nt recieved my atm card yet. I asked to that person in the bank that where can i ask for my card enquiry. He said very rudely to me that see the phone no at any sbi atm and asked them. He did not reply my answer. What now i can do? please help me?

                savings a/c — Statement is showing as if I withdraw 4000 wherein I didn't take that amt on that day because the ATM had some problem

                On 29th May 2008 I went to NSC Bose Road ATM for withdrawing cash. I tried to withdraw 6000 at first instance. The machine couldn't deliver beyond 5000 it seems. So I entered the amount 2000 and withdrew it. And after that I tried withdrawing 4000 from the machine. It didn't deliver instead it gave some error. So I cancelled the transaction and took my card out.
                After a week I went to ATM machine to take the cash out I was shocked by seeing the message from the machine "isufficient fund". I came home and I saw e-statement in netbanking it is showing as if I have withdrawn 4000 on 29th may 2008. Kindly look into this on a priority basis and do the needful.                 I have not recieved my atm card of state bank of india.                   Further your office has not responded at all, to my mail dt. 15.01.2009, 17.01.2009 & 20.01.2009. I am not using my card since I received the Bill with wrong charges of Annual Fee on 10.01.2009

                  I request you to cancel my card with immediate effect, as I shall not like to continue my association with SBI Cards. Also send me the confirmation for the same.

                  As per communication with your helpline executive, In case of cancellation of my card, I will not have to pay any annual Fees for the year 2009.

                  You are requested to issue a zero balance statement

                  You have not responded to the points raised by me in my mail dt. 10.01.09. I request you to clarify the below issues:

                  I fail to understand the logic of your not charging any amount in 2008, and waving the same in 2006 & 2007. Pl clarify the following:
                  1. Why this year you have charged the annual fee, when it is being not charged for the last three years.
                  2. Further I had received a call from SBI card for making my card life time free- was it some sort of marketing gimmick, or it was false & misleading information provided by SBI card executives ?
                  3. I contacted your card helpline on 10.01.09, and it was suggested that I can switch over from my existing card
                  to SBI Gold or More Card & In this case there shall be no Annual Fees payable as it will be free lifetime card. I shall be charged only Rs. 200/- as one time Flip charges. Also for existing card the Annual fees will not be applicable due flip over of card. Pl. reconfirm the position to enable me to proceed with flip over of the card.


                  4. If the information given by your executives is not true (as mentioned by me in point 2 & 3 above and my mail dt 10.1.09), I shall not like to continue my relationship any further with SBI Card. You may understand, It will not be trust worthy to maintain relationship with SBI cards in this case.

                  5. Pl. also re-confirm, if I finally choose, to not continue with SBI card, in that case no Annual fees as charged for year 2009, shall be payable.

                  I am a card holder since 8th December 1999. I have not defaulted even once in payment. I am not holding any other card till date.
                  From 2006 Annual Fee has not been charged on my card. (On 7th Jan 2007 Rs.561.20 was charged as Annual Fee, but after my communication with customer care it was reversed on 11th Jan 2007. On 7th Jan 2006 annual fee was charged, but after my communication with customer care it was reversed on 17th Jan 2006.)

                  In Jan 2008 I received a call from SBI, communicating that, my card has been converted to life time free and I shall not be charged any Annual Fee, here in after. In Jan 2008 no charges of Annual Fee were levied.

                  I request you to honor the commitment given, by SBI card, that no Annual Fee shall be levied to me and reverse the charges debited to me on 7th Jan 2009, immediately. This shall help me to retain my faith in SBI cards.

                      My banker is SBI, Thingal Nagar Branch, Kanyakumari Dist, Tamilnadu. My ATM card no. is[protected]. I purchased dress from Nalli silks, Chennai and I paid Rs. 893 through ATM card on 11.10.08. But the amount was deducted twice. I enquired with Nalli silks and confirmed the same.My earlier complaints evoked no response. My bank also wrote a complaint to Bombay on 28.11.08. They asked me to wait for 45 days to get cleared the problem. But nothing is set right even after 2 months. I feel constrained to approach consumer forum for your callous attitude shortly.

                          My revised pension was fixed wrongly and credited less pension and arrears in to my SB account No.[protected] at SBI Rajajinagar 5th Block Branch, Rajajinagar Bangalore-560010.I have given written complaints to my Branch Manager on 3rd Nov, 2008 and 8th Jan, 2009 giving full personal detail required for for refixing the pension as per Govt.letter No.38/37/08-P7PW9A0.pt.1 dated 14 th October, 2008. In spite of my repeated request with local Branch, there is no positive returns except forwarding my letters to the central Pension cell, As such we are not able to approach the central pension cell directly as we cannot by pass the local branch autorities who are really helpless in this regard.May I request your good office to take up the grivence with the concerned authorities for speedy settlement in fixation of revised pension as per above referred Govt.letter.

                          SBI's central pension cell is lethargic and needs a shakeup. Their attitude towards pensions is pathetic. Adding to the disgust is the attitude of the branch Managers who express helpness. I have faced similar issues with my Mother's pension account and there has been no response whatsover.
                          Dear Sir,
                          I am a pension a/c holder of your Udgir Road, Bidar branch vide a/c no. [protected](old) & [protected](new) and PPO No. 08/14/B/11911/2007(old) & 08/14/B/CORR/51645/2009(new) as per sixth CPC. I have to get the arrears of my 36 months revised pension and also the revised rate (difference) of DCRG amount. The amount credited in my a/c on 13/11/09 is only Rs.16913/-(Rupees Sixteen thousand nine hundred and thirteen only), but as per my calculation I suppose to get a big amount then the credited amount.
                          You are requested to look into the matter and credit the correct amount in my account and intimate me at the earliest.

                          I agree with the comments. The service pathetice and all the helpdesk is just a waste of time. I raised a complaint by calling the 1800 number and got a reference number and was told to contact after 7 days. They closed it after 7 days and asked to contact the branch office for clarifications which I was doing for the last 5 months.

                          Branch office cuts a sorry figure stating that they dont have a response from pension cell. I havent received the normal pension from Jun'10 and also the arrears. I am not even clear on what I am entitled for as there was variations every month over the last 1 year.

                          God help the account holders.

                            Dear,
                            Sir/Madam,
                            This is to inform you that my atm/debit card had been misused by somebody about seven months ago while I was in malaysia and no action what so ever has been taken by the bank.

                            I have my account in state bank of india, Malad west branch, mumbai 400 064.

                            Iam a seaman and work offshore.
                            I was on my regular work trip and was offshore when my father fell seriously ill.
                            My wife went to the bank to withdraw some money to admit my father to the hospital, but she found out that there was no balance in my account.
                            She immediately phoned me up on my ship by the satellite phone many times to find out if I had been useing the atm card to withdraw money, and I told her that I havent used it at all since I was at sea and not in contact with the main land.

                            She then contact the bank and informed them about what was happening and blocked the card but till then my bank balance hab already come to zero.

                            After that she went to the bank several times and gave a written complain about thematter, but the bank refused to take any complain and the manager on duty Mr xyz told her that she has to lodge a complain with the local police station and my wife did so.But the police told her that it was not ours but the banks duty to lodge a complain.

                            The bank has till date not lodged a complain nor taken any action against my matter.

                            My wife has been running up and down daily to the bank and on the other side to the hospital to look after my father since he was very serious but the bank had not been co operating nor supporting her.They told her that she has to wait till I come back and I have to go personally to the bank since it was my own atm card.

                            After I returned back home I too went immediately to the bank and spoke to the bank officals.
                            They assured me that my matter would be surely solved but I will have to wait for som e time.
                            Within a few days my father also expired and I was still running to the bank to get my problem solved and to get my money back.

                            25/07/08. It was now time up for me to get back to my duty again so I went to the bank again as usual before going back to work and the managers xyz and Mr abc assured me that I go back to work and by the time I come back my problem would be definatly solved.

                            1/10/08 After coming back home from my trip I immediately went to the bank to find out what was happening regarding my matter and this time they came out with a very different strange idea.They again did not cooperate and told me that I have to file a police complain in malaysia where the card had been misused., which was very rediculous.

                            After sleeping for seven months and not doing anything they now want me to go to malaysia and make a police complain.
                            I told them that I would do so but the bank would have to pay for all my expenses and they refused to do so..

                            It is so common that all banks all over the world are responsible if any body misuses their customers money or atm card or credit card and they are supposed to solve this matter themselves and give justice to their customers.

                            In my case when I had my atm card with me and my card was not even lost or stolen but then too why is my bank not been able to solve my problem and get my money back,

                            I am a normal service man and not a business man and would like to get my hard earned money back., along with all other expenses incurred for running around for such a longtime because of the banks neglegance.

                            I hereby request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                            I got an Sbi account in Sunabeda branch SBI and holding an ATM card with me. Surprisingly on 22nd and 23rd Nov my Transaction statement shows that amount of RS 6820/ and Rs 620/ got issued thru my ATM. These transaction are unknown to me and the amount deducted are also not possible thru ATM . During this period ATM cards was with me and on enquiry to SBI Manager they simply show an indifferent attitude . pls help me.

                              Some one had used my sbi atm card while the card was with me which is called hacking robbery stealing or whatever and which is quite common now a days..I have lost quite an amount of money and have been running to the bank regularly to get my problem solved being a service man.The bank managers only kept delaying and promising me that your problem will be solved and not to worry.Now after about waisting time for about seven months they say that nothing can be done.
                              Please let me know what can be done and how can I get my problem solved at the earliest.

                                SBI debit cum ATM card — Unsuccessful transaction

                                I swap my card in SR garments Nagpur. But No slip was generated and transaction was unsucessful. I made written complint in SBI branch as Rs 2275 ammount was debited from account. I have all details from SR garments that they didnt recived any ammount from my card. Now after 45 days of locking period SBI said that the transaction was sucessfull. But SR garmnets show me with proof that the no transaction was done on 30th and 31st July 2008 in there account with SBI card.

                                Pls advice me what has to be done in this case. Where to complaint now.

                                I have been trying to book a ticket on line for the past 3 weeks aor so using Ids:

                                crr_1620 and lakshmi_CR. But when the stage of opening the Bank portal for payment ; that Window does not open. For allthe banks for which I hold credit/ debit cards ( HDFC/ ICICI / SBI . Only the following link opens for ALL banks...like for example:

                                I called IRCTCChennai and New Delhi[protected] and told them to check. They advised me to check my system/ PC etc. I deleted all cookies/internet files etc etc / restarted the system etc and of no use. Finally some one from the Chennai Line told that he would check up.Many days over since and still the same fate.

                                If there is any overall problem there should be a mechanism to inform your clients. They do not give their Name or a complaint number for follow up. How to redeem the complaint then?

                                If it happens on a Sunday / out side office hours the ordeal is more. No way to contact your corporate office also.

                                Please look into the complaint now atleast and tell me where the problem is? All other websites and IRCTC upto this stage works ever since the day and even now.

                                      International Debit cum Atm Card — Atm error

                                      Sir,
                                      I have an International Debit cum Atm card which is given by Corporation Bank, Palarivattom branch, My account No. is 0699/SB /01/005570, with this card I tried to get money from SBI Atm counter Located near to Aluva Bank Junction , Ernakulam District Dated on 06/09/2009 between 6.30, 6.45 pm but on that time the Atm counter gone as wrong and after some time it restarted and installed automatically, then another person tried to get money with his card but he got the money, but with fear of going wrong again I returned, next day I examined my account I have loosed 1000 rupees from my account, I informed the same to the bank, but mistakenly I told to them I loosed as 4000 which I have punched at 2.30 from corporation bank atm, after a month I enquired yesterday to the bank manger but he says the state bank says that I have got the money, what can I do now, really I have not received the money, sir please help me to get my money back on my account .

                                      I HAVE WRITTEN REQUEST LETTER TO CORPORATION BANK SARITA VIHAR BRANCH REGARDING ISSUE OF DEBIT CARD ON 17TH DECEMBER 2009. BUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SAME, I VISITED BRANCH SO MANY TIMES BUT NO RESULT. MY ACCOUNT NUMBER IS CORP CLASSIC 20087.

                                      State Bank of India — Error in credit/debit

                                      Kamrup Treasury vide token No.2010/03/03359 date 17/3/10 submitted my salary bill to SBI Guwahati Main Br. to credit the amount to S/B A/C no.[protected] but instead of crediting the same in time credited it on 12/4/10 as a result SBI, Dispur Br.could not debited Rs.6415/ from my S/B A/C and imposed fine Rs. 321.56 on 1/4/10, again another amount Rs.307.62 also imposed asfine on 1/5/10. Since above amount debited to my loan A/C [protected] as fine arr.adjustement for no falt of mine. Kindly arrage to credit the above amount to loan A/C immediately.

                                      This is to you kind notice that I made a withdrawal transaction for ATM ID S10A[protected] of Rs. 13,000 but from ATM I got only Rs. 12,500 on 1st November 2010 20:13 with TXN No: 8175. On that day I put a complain on dialing [protected] and my complain ID was AT[protected]. On[protected]:10 I got a SMS on my mobile with the message that you "complaint AT[protected] has been attended by the competent authority and hence is closed in the system. To get the details please contact the Branch". Then I went to the my Branch but my ATM officer don't give any proper answer about the matter. On[protected] I put a written application about the matter in my branch. Yet I do not get Rs. 500.

                                        Sir,
                                        I wanted to send money to my son at one of the branch of State Bank of India at Calicut from SBI, I.I.T-Powai. The problem is that we have to stand in a queue outside the bank like people standing in line for paying electricity bills. After waiting for more than one or two hours, we get entry to this special bank. Once inside, you feel really disgusted the way they work. It is indeed a pity that a Bank in the premises of a prestigious Institution, is practicing too primitive business techniques ! It is indeed pity that the public is silently obeying the dictates of lethargic Bank staff !
