I contacted coustomer care, got phone no. I phoned Koranmangala branch atleast 15-20 times from chennai, No response and mailed many times as well. Very poor services. I have never seen such a bad services in any of the banks in india.

I had withdraw 5000/- from my account at 24-nov-2008 at sec-14 Gurgaon ATM but due to som e reason the amount again deposited in the ATM and the amount is debited from my account, I had contacted to Custmer care for the same he told me that ATM hold the case only for 30 sec but after 1 working day the amount will be cradited in your account. But til now (more than 30 days) no amount has been cradited.I i have sent lots of mail and hard copy of mini statement. But havn't got any response. What i should do please suggest...

SBI provides the worst ever banking service.
I had done my transaction and 1500rs got debited from my account.
The customer service is satisfactory and the services provided by the people in the bank is of the worst grade.i tried calling SBI koramangala branch many times.. but people are very busy 24/7..They never ever pick our calls.The worst ever service rendered by any bank..

I've been contacting koramangala SBI branch for last four months from hyderabad for internet banking activation. They respond me to come there and activate. Again i replied them that i can't go to bangalore for that. But there is no response from them for that. They provided all the kit, but without activating they are making people to roam here and there. Atleast they should understand the customer situations and act according that. Atleast they respond properly for that.

SBI wow, Ppl opt for this bank as its a govt. organisation. But its only when u discovr dat it has the worst of the servic provided n al ur lft with is only regret abt it. N its a humble request that i[censored] cant answer our calls then why do u print those "TOLL FREE" nos. in a bloody bold font. Your employees are busy 24X7 and even more i think they have customers from other planets that they are busy handeling.And people like us have to keep on trying the nos. keepink all our work aside.

Same problem I also faced...I maild several times for TPT but no response...I don't know what they are doing there..is that not their work ? People trust ur bank so do justify them ok that ur job not simple escaping from it...

I too faced this problem. I don't why they are getting salaries when they cant give services to their users. Shame on SBI,

I have applied Titanium credit card the agent told it is free of cost but when i got to know that i have to pay Rs 577.87 as received sms and credit card received on may 2th 2011 and that time sms received 17th may '2011.No any purchase on this card.I was surprised this amount!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already Informed the customer care and they have no proper answer to me.

Why i should pay these cash when i paid extra money for closing, i want to close my credit card immediately and send me the letter of closing my credit card.

I don't want to continue with this card because

I don't have any need to use this. Please do the card cancellation and inform me.

Sir, Myself Naresh dubey apporched SBI branch R.K.Puram West Block-7, Sector-1 New Delhi for a bank draft at 2.00pm On dated!2/01/2009. There were around 24 people were in waiting for the same. It was lunch time, so we all, during were waiting person to come, while talking to others, i came to know the others are waiting, in que since11"am. The person/dealing clark come on seat around 2.40 pm on till3.25 only manage to make only three draftin fact he was to slow on his job, while some o[censored]s objected on his way of working, approched MrS.C.AHooja( A.G.M) for the same, some how he was not in mood to lhelp us .when we asked for complaint bookonly then he came into action.Mr Suresh Kumar/Dealing clark come out, not in good mood took our draft forms, total in number 24 all toughter directed us be in line/que went in sideat around3.45pm, we allhave to wait till 5.45 pm.I got my draft no 812282 dated12jan2009.you may check our footage on camara, which is there. we were all there till 6.00pm. we had also made written complaint to ShS.C.AHOOJA (AGM) all 20 person has signed it. Myself Arnav Bajaj had blocked my sbi atm (debit card) on 17.01.09 and blocked the card the same day at 10 o'clock in the evening but some how over 20, 000 in cash were withdrawn from my account

Now I shifted to Vijayawada (AP) and i want to transfer my account from Hassan (karnataka) to Viayawada Governor Pet. my wife opened a nri account in dispur branch, we wanted to get one locker, it is very funny that every time we contact the in charge he tells some olckers key to be changed we sent to kolkatta, this happening last 5 years . every time we go on vacation we visit the branch same dilouge we gat .

1.Branch opened at 10:10 A.M.
2.Till 10:20 no any staff avilable on their respective dealing counter.
3.So many customer were waiting for the service .And no any one of your staff were ready to attend the customers.
4.When i asked to the officials they replied me allways we startthe work after 10:30.
5.In this branch total 8-9 counters, but allways just two or three counters are open for public dealing.Thatswhy you can see allways so croud in this branch.
6.The behevior of your staff is totaly wrong with customers.

i took this home loan from pune br . bank is charging rs15749 monthly though fd rates gone down.no br in mumai is able to explain.

last 3 month me and my father often time went to bank but loan was not passed, also one time my all documented loan file was lost by bank meneger and his officers.Then after i gave my all documents to bank for loan.every time that bank meneger told my father your one document was remaining but never end of that problem at last 3 months.he told my father open your and your son's account in SBI then also told combined account in bank that all done by me.one time authority letter also given to bank which included that my father can do my sign.but bank officer told that sign of mine was neccesary on document, why not my father?
But at last me and my father decided and withdrow loan paper from bank.

Humble submission is that the company had applied on 14th sep2007 for loan on 25% or50 lacks susidy which is a scheme under ministry of food processing industry for rice mill in Aurangabad branch of state bank of India.
1. To join the benefit under the scheme as and when state bank of India branch Aurangabad asked to do any written or verbal instructions of the bank officials company has done accordingly and shell following whatever instruction a issued from time to time to the company.
2. For benefit of the company branch manager Aurangabad had decided that under SME segment SSI scheme the loan should be granted. The company had no knowledge how company is to be under the above mention scheme therefore, the company gave it consent for grant of loan under the scheme.
3. The company applied for loan on 14th sep2007 and waited till 26th jul2009 and waiting but when company got minutes of meeting held on 15th apr2009 at 3pm in room no 120 PanchsheelBhawan, New Delhi under the chairmanship of secretary FPI to review the follow up action with nodal officers of focal point banks under decentralized scheme for technology up-gradation/ establishment, modernization of food processing industry and thereafter, the company is under the fear that subsidy will not be granted to company.
When the company has informed the branch manager Aurangabad regarding taken decisions taken in the above mentioned meeting even than the banks not taking any interest regarding subsidy to the company, There after the directors of the company has decided that since Aurangabad branch is not taking any interest regarding subsidy to the company the matter should be taken to higher authority of the bank.
4. One of the eleven decisions of the above meeting is that all the old cases of subsidy should be disposed of by 15th may2009 and new cases be enclosed. It was also decided in the meeting that old cases subsidy must be enclosed by 31st may2009 and then only new cases of subsidy be taken up. But due to indifferent attitude of bank official, the company has only E. Number on E. Portal. Therefore the company from 27th jul2009 started to inform the bank officials regarding the matter. Is it crime to inform higher official regarding work of branch manager?
5. According to website w.w.w.mofpi.nic.in of ministry of food processing industry, Delhi under the decentralisation of plan scheme the subsidy of25% or 50laks is given on the cost of fixed asset 213.73lacks Rs. The Company gets the subsidy it is duty of the bank concerned. This has been confirmed by the website of the ministry. The bank has only taken E. Number of the company on E. Portal but the susidy should have been released and given to the company latest by 31st may 2009.
6. State bank of India granted loan on 18th dec2007 in the financial year[protected]. Susidy amount has already been released by the ministry for the financial year[protected]. This has been confirmed the website of the ministry but company has got only E. Number on E. Portal .The Company has not received the subsidy amount due to indifferent attitude of the bank officials.
7. The company should get the subsidy amount but the bank officials are not doing anything for this. According to rule the bank should not had charged interest on term loan of 50lack Rs but bank took interest on the above amount so the bank has charged assess interest on loan.
8. According to think tank of state bank of India credit rate of rice mills sb9 and above and CRA rating of new rice mill is sb7 and above, the loan for rice mill unit in SME segment rice mill plus 11% to 12.75% is available.
According to bank of Aurangabad company rice mill unit credit rate and CRA rate sb2 in spite of SME segment granted loan under SSI scheme.
Branch manager in the interest of bank granted loan on assess interest rate of to 13.25%to14.25%. And also by smooth-taking took consent of the company but took interest on loan at the rate of 13.75% to 14.75%.
But due to delay of subsidy amount the bank is in the profit but company is suffering lose. Why branch manger could grant loan on SME segment rice mill plus scheme?
9. Branch manager in his own interest and in the interest of bank showing the latter dated 27th Dec2007 But why he is not showing letter and resolution dated 28th Dec2007 passed by the directors of company to the higher authorities.
10. Branch manager is showing latter dated 21st aug2007 to his higher authority because with the help of above latter he is trying to hide his fault and the interest of bank but company has written dozens of latter for benefit of subsidy on 14th sep2007 and again wrote latter’s to the branch manager.
11. If the branch manager considers latter dated 5th sep2008 as green signal than decision taken on 15th apr2009 in the meeting between chairmanship of secretary, FPI and nodal officer of bank, the company should have received the subsidy on 31st may2009. The loan issued by the state bank of India in the financial year[protected] subsidy has already been received which has been confirmed by the website of the ministry. Due to the fault of bank the company has only got E. Number on E. Portal.
12. According to reserve bank and also by the think tank of the bank in SME segment SSI scheme 0% mortgage and on 0% margin or rice mill plus scheme 15% to 25% margin and 75% company guarantor valued loan is available but bank officer granted loan by surpassing plan scheme. The bank manager has taken 141.85 lahks and land valued at 12 lacks plus fixed deposit, LIC, SBI Life of 20 lahks. The company had objected about mortgage than bank official refused to issue loan. Therefore the company was forced to give fix deposit, LIC SBI life and land in mortgage. The company has spent on rice mill unit 113.73 lahks to till 31st march2009. Company collateral security is valued 287.58 lahks and guarantor valued 433.04 lahks. The total guarantee of the company is valued 705.62lacks.
13. Therefore as per rule the think tank of the bank return 20 lacks of fixe deposit, LIC, SBI life and also land mortgage of 12 lacks so that company could spent the above mentioned amount on the development of the company because bank gave to the company 91. 48 lack fewer amounts as loan.
14. When branch manager granted loan to the company at that time a written agreement was signed by the company and the bank. In the agreement it was agreed that interest of every month will be deposited in the bank in next month will be deposited in the bank in next month between the date one to the last date of the month but branch manager takes interest amount and installment of term loan amount before last day of the month from the company’s account and this is being done without informing the company and also without the cheque issued by the company.
15. Company got information from website of ministry that application on for subsidy should be filed before commercial production. The raw rice unit of the company was ready by March 2008. The boiled rice unit was ready by september2008. The company applied for commercial production many bank does not replied. Therefore the company started commercial production of raw rice from 29th jan2009. But commercial production of boiled rice could not be started because the company is under the impression that some problem may be faced by the company’s regarding subsidy. Due to the uncooperative attitude of the bank the company’s commercial production could not started fully and for this the company is suffering lose.
16. Whenever company director meets the bank officials regarding above mentioned matter than branch manager only explains how recovery agents behaves with party. Does the company’s position is for recovery?
17. When branch manager granted loan to the company taking too much interest but now branch manager is not taking any interest that company gets the subsidy in time. And for this the company suffered loss of one corer and still suffering loss. Due to the indifferent attitude of the branch manager the company has failed to deposit interest and instalment amount since july2009.
18. Therefore it hubby submitted that you take interest regarding company’s problem so that company is all to return bank loan. Company collateral security is valued 287.58 lacks and guarantor valued 433.04 lacks. The total guarantee of the company is valued 705.62lacks.

Due to the uncooperative attitude of the bank the company’s commercial production could not started fully and for this the company is suffering lose.

My name is vanlalhriatkimi pachuau i opened an a/c with saket branch in delhi. I wanted to break my FD due to some financial emergency so i went to the branch. They told me i cannot do that because there is lean hold from credit card department. First they offered me Credit card which never arrived in the post so i decided not have it. there is no credit card department in the branch so i had to contact the call centre. They advise me they will send me lean letter in 10 days. its almost a month it never arrived while i get evrything else from sbi in the post.Finally like any irate customer i ask to speak to supervisor name Rahul
he told me that they can send email to the branch and i dont know why they do that earlier.I gave the email address to the supervisor and literally begged him to send the email as i am in diehard situation. I check with the branch but they said they havent recieve any email . The account manager in return shout at me as if it was fault. I tried to explain him how urgently required the money and told him that i call like 100 times the call centre and asked them to send the lean letter many times if are not doing it wat can i do .Am a customer and banks are there all these financial needs. He told that he dont care and embarrassed me infront of so many people that. I dont have the lean letter and am still not able to take my own money. I request you to take severe action against this matter.May god have mercy on them for treating me so bad. I feel like sbi ate up my money. 5-6 times but he didn"t responded, morever a turbaned man came after me & he
got the passbook printed, after that he answered me to wait & he left the chair.This
can be checked by CCTV footage.

I am an Asst Professor in National Institute of Technology Calicut. I applied for a Realty Loan as a first step to apply for a house loan. All the relevant documents were submitted. Even after One month the loan has not been sanctioned. I applied in NITC Branch of SBI near Calicut where the manager is one Mr. Rajgopal. The Loan is supposed to be sanctioned by Chief Manager Mr. Mohandas from RASMECCC, Kallayi Calicut(His Tel No: +[protected] . There was a legal paper verification, then site visit two times. All the norms had been fulfilled .Only loan has not sanctioned so far. We are totally frustrated . The attitude of the SBI officers is such that costumer is just . Often customer is treated as beggers. I really doubt that some other banks might have hired the core officers of SBI and assigned them with a duty to take totally negative attitude towards the customers so that other banks may get better business from that locality. A new enquiry has to be initiated in this regard. We are going to move in the Banking Ombudsman and consumer court as it is already got in to our nerves.Who will pay for the health hazards due to applying for a loan in an bank like SBI unknowingly or by mistake.There is a facility in the website like send unhappy message to corporate office etc. no bugger is taking any actions against the useless crooks in the RASMECC Calicut Kerala.

i had the worst experience in this bank. They workers at this bank are totally illiterate, lazy, deprived of any interest to work.
Even the lowest of the staff (peon ) show no respect and interest, act as though there are stars falling from the sky and a halo stagnated behind his head...all this attitude for what ??? just coz they are goverment workers.
Bank manager is rude (COURTESY : MR. VINAYAK, manager of gandibazaar branch, bangalore ) he doesnt even know that letter of Employment can be provided as proof of local address, and when pointed out by me that it is stated in the form, started behaving rudely. All of them act as language illiterates, foget english lol if you speak in english it might seem as greek and latin to them, but they cant even unterstand the technicality of their work when explained in local language. Like one of the customers stated above, be ready to get insulted and humiliated, u might sit in AC chambers at your office but when cum to this small SBI dungen with the lowest possible sophistication but creatures havein maximum head weight (with absolutely no justification as to yyyy ???), pls leave your self esteem outside the door.
Even after 3 attempts of trying to open an account, i couldnt!!!
I think goverment should take the placement process more seriously and select educated, engergitic and well suited graduates for these positions.

I visited the Clark Wood Road ATM (ATM ID-SFVD9231) at 16:23 and checked my account balance
I had Rs.24, 354.23 then by 16:25 I tried to make my ICICI credit card Payment
([protected]) of Rs.3000.oo I got a slip stating TXN NO: 3785, Transaction Declined, Response code 072 UNABLE TO PROCESS.
So I made the second payment of RS.3000.00 thinking that the first transaction did not go through by
16:26 and my transaction was successful with a slip stating TXN No:3786 and with Reference No:[protected] then I made a
third transaction at 16:27 withdrawing Rs.400.00, to my shoack I got a transaction slip which shows my balance as Rs.17, 954.23
instead of Rs. 20, 954.23. Then I realised that a double payment is gone through and contacted the customer care where in I got to
speak to a person by name Syed, doesn't know proper english nor was able to resolve my problem n return he put me through a lady
she has no etiquettes, to introduce herself before the conservation she only listened to my conversation as if I was briefing a story
to her at last without permission she just transferred me to IVR such a pathetic service ICICI is giving to its customer who is with
them from past five years.
I also faced the same problem three years back still I did not get my money back. We people think so many things and keep our
money as I had kept it to pay my home loan, car loan and rest. Now because of the simple system error I got into problem.
ICICI please as a loyal customer its my request stop fooling people and live upto your brand name so that customers can trust.
Educate your Executives with some corporate etiquettes and how to resolve the queries of the customer.

It is very much regrettable seeing the amount Rs. 2333.00 deducted from total MOD balance of my account mention above at Note press Branch Salboni, BRBNMPL, Dist- West Midnapur westbengal . It was noticed when I draw Rs.1000.00 on 17/07/2013 from Note press Branch ATM.
On 13/07/2013 at 21:11 hrs. my account statement was like that : MOD balance : Rs. 273, 476.00 & AVAILABLE BALANCE: Rs. 340.13 but on 17/07/2013 after withdrawing Rs. 1000.00 the statement was like that : MOD balance Rs. 270, 143.37 & AVAILABLE BALANCE Rs. 342.13 i.e. total MOD balance difference Rs. 2333.00. But I have not done any transition in between.
Already I have complained to my local branch as well as cms.[protected]@sbi.co.in (TICKET NO.-DA[protected]) but I till I do not received any response.

this is the complaint against the branch manager of Dodenekundi Branch, bangalore; near EMC2 office

i am having SBI Account and having a green card on the name of my brother fro cash deposit purpose.

i stay in JP Nagar;Bangalore and work fro EMC2 and i found Dodenakundi branch is near to my office. so i went there to deposit money around 1.20PM. the branch manager closed the token machine itself and asked me to go to marathalli. it was only 2min task and he asked me to go to marathalli branch. whn i asked the reason he told that they are closing @1.30PM. but i reached there @1.20PM still 10 min was there but he didnot accept my request and asked me go to marathalli only.

they had card swiping machine but still they did not accept it . this is very worst case sir. they should nt behave like that to a customer even after we reach on time. are they only open the office to showoff or they have been deployed to work also???

finally i reach marathalli brach and there was some different procedure for green card holder. so i went to that ATM counter and waited over 45min because the machine was too slow and finally got to know that the machine is not working. again went to marathalli branch and informed that the machine is not working then one of the staff told me to swipe the card in the machine and get the receipt then they will accept it. so i did the same and it took only 2min. and finally i deposited money to the account .

This also can happened in Dodenekundi branch even then why they did not accepted it. if you dont want to work then dont come to office sit @hme and give oppertunity to others those who really wants to work.

Sbt Providing Very bad support for online customers. I aso have the same issue .. i Requested for a new term deposit account online before 2 months.. Its showing " transcation logged " till now. I mailed them in most of their adresses i found in their website. They never atleast reply. I am working i muscat.. I have to go kerala to solve this issue if i want. Better choose another bank..Disappointed with sbt..

Inspite of my intimation after submission of all the documents time and again, my loan applied from SBI new town rajarhat branch br code 05112, Kolkata some 8 months back for Rs 12.50 lacs for acquisition of a flat at Baguiati, the loan is not sanctioned. Reminded to various banking authorities for 11 th time, faxed and sent by post. My difficulty is that I am an Honest Officer, for which I can challenge. I just want to tell that my experiences with this "Largest of Bank India" are not good. 6 year back when I was in college I went to SBI main branch of Raipur to open my savings account. They told me to go to your nearest branch where you live and when I asked them please provide me address of my nearest branch. They said to find out yourself. I went to nearest branch of my area where I came to know that you need lots of proof for identification along with any relative account for witness. I was disappointed with tons of formalities although I had all these. My second experience happened 1 year back when I went to SBI Main Branch around 4:40 pm for depositing check to my relative's account where few people were working, I thought to ask a person sitting who seemed busy in his work. I said- "where can i deposit check", he was continuing doing his work. When I asked again he became angry and said- "Do you live in India?" I was puzzled what he's saying, then he said "bank is closed, don't you know" Again I was disappointed and gave back that check to my relative. My third experience happened recently when I had to pay challan for society registration. But I will call this incident my 'bad luck' because I had to go bank on saturday when it is half day for bank and it gets closed around 2 pm. Everyone knows here that bank employees comes around 11 or 11:30 am and you have hardly 3 hours to do your work. I went there joined the queue for about 1 and half hour and when my turn came system broke down due to link failure. Next three days were holidays...again I was disappointed and wondering "why we have to pay challan only in SBI". Sorry for being cynic but this is all true.

He was deposited in Tenali, Guntur(Dist), Andhra Pradesh at the same SBI Branch. But SBI deducted 40 Rs inter city charges. Sir i only want to enquire, is there any charges of depositing amount in same bank through other branch of SBI INDIA.

The State Bank of India country’s largest bank from will be charging service charges if you are sending money home using the State Bank of India’s network of over 10, 000 branches. Earlier bank was offering this service free to millions.

Bank sources said from now it will charge Rs 2 per Rs 1, 000, subject to a minimum Rs 25 per cash deposit, at a non-home branch. Non-home branches are used by depositors with accounts in other branches or banks. Earlier, cash deposit up to Rs 50, 000 at a non-home branch was free.

The bank has also lowered the upper limit beyond which customers will have to pay fees on inter-branch, inter-bank and inter-city services, resulting to an increase of overall cost to customers. Previously inter-city transaction up to Rs 50, 000 for cheques, clearing instruments and transfer of funds from home branch to a third-party account of another branch was free. Now the bank has reduced the upper limit to Rs 20, 000, beyond which a fee will be charged.

Moreover, customers getting their passbook updated at a branch other than their home branch will have to pay Rs 10 per pass book.

The move was decided even before the bank raised the interest rates and a circular has already been issued to all branches. In a circular to all branches, the bank has informed that the new service charge structure that will be effective from September 1.

Having rolled out core banking solutions (CBS) branches across the country, the bank is now aiming at levering it to rise up its fee-based income.

The bank has been charging collection and draft charges mainly, now a nominal transaction fee will continue.

I have an accout in SBI, Chennai.
even I deposited the money of Rs.500/. Five hundred. they are INTER CITY CHARGES for Rs.25/.
balance i will have only Rs.475/. only..
This is not good for middle class people. for depost money to bank accout. 25 rupees is not small...

If they are going to do like this. I will close the SBI account. and never i will not use this bank.

now the SBI is like ***** bank for making customers as begger.

Please SBI will tell me what's going on, which type of service they were providing to their customer.

The most renouned and robost banking system of India has started doing this, what can I say?

Whenever you transfer money through net banking or even when you deposit cash in some other branch of SBI they charge 25 Re or more for each transaction.

This is not good. AXIS and HDFC bank are not charging a single penny for this. I am going to stop all my transactions in my SBI account. Poor SBI.

i too faced the problem of deducting money as inter city charges . SBI is going to lose customer if this type of charges are not stoped. If anybody is depositing money i m going to lose money...I dont know which idot gave this idea, and how stupid our official are following it..i wont recommened others to open account in SBI...

I ahve my account at SBI Rehari colony Jammu and an amount of Rs.200 was deposited from Bhopal to my account. The Branch has deducted an amount of Rs. 25 as inter branch fee is it correct. Earlier if a person can deposit an amount upto Rs. 20000/ from one branch to another branch the bank was not charging any amount. Kindly clarify the same.

My official acconut is at SBI Rehari colony Jammu and due to bank holiday on wednesday an amount of Rs. 9000/ was deposited at SBI Kachichawani Jammu which falls in the city and SBI has deducted Rs. 25 as inter branch fee, is it correct.

Recently my client has deposited Rs4 lakh, and I got charged around Rs.600.
Such a hefty penalty without my knowledge for nothing.
I think they are charging 0.15% interest on the amount credited.

I deposited a crossed cheque given in HYDERABAD in my name to my account in another place in Andhra. Intercity charges were deducted. We all know it hardly takes any time to press a few keys for this transfer.We are saving SBI's time, stationery, labour, bookkeeping etc. and in fact bank should give the customer a concession for using the electronic transfer rather than collecting INTERCITY CHARGES. THE UNKINDEST CUT OF ALL IS I AM A PENSIONER AND WHEN MY PENSION GETS TRANSFERRED FROM MY PARENT (OLD) OFFICE, INTERCITY CHARGES ARE CUT. The bank should at least reverse all these charges deducted so far (from November I think) from all such pension accounts and stop doing this at least for PENSIONERS to start with. It is also inconsistent that NEFT has no charges for such small amounts!!

the same happened to me, thats for the deposit of 1000/- 25/- was deducted from my account which is unfare what kind of service this SBI is giving to middle class people, if every one starts closing their accounts, deposits may be rules changes. stupid rules stop this kind of rules ur bank has to provide good facilities by motivating customers .
i think ajenda made by chandrababu naidu in AP has created reserve bank to take these kind of steps this is another way where he can increase his deposits nothing nor government is taking right decisions
for the people.
India wil never develop if such kind of things happens, always a bigshot keeps on increasing deposits then whats life of a middle class people.
in many banks VIPS of that place wil nwver clear his debts bank wil not take any steps on them but they place these kind of stupid rules by lavying intercity charges if this continues SBI wanna close the bank and go home.

My friend had deposited 10, 000 from Bijapur and immediatley Rs 25 has been deducted from my account as inter city charges. The cash has been deposited through a SBI branch and Rs 25 has been debited immediately.

Any other banks dont have these charges, it makes no sense to debit the account in this case.

Bank account are maintained to carry on such transactions having a minimum balance and if such charges are deducted no one be interested to maintian accounts.

we transfer money to our supplier from SBI bengal branch to SBI mumbai branch as we and our supplier both have accounts in SBI. SBI charges @Rs. 1.5/1000 transferred. but if we do RTGS we have to pay only Rs.25. we cannot move to other bank due to distance and safety. earlier we wrote to branch manager and the letter was forwarded by him to head office regarding this unjustice that intra bank fund transfer charges are higher than inter bank fund transfer charges. ON may 19 RBI governor also raised this question and asked bank to lower charges, but no action has been taken so far.

I have two accounts, one in SBI and one in Central bank of india.
I loose my money every time in SBI, when i deposit it from another branch of SBI.
I did that in Central bank, but there was no deduction. Now I deposit all my money in central bank only. I am thinking about closing my account in SBI.
I think the Core banking is to make customers job easy. But SBI is doing the Oppsite.

SBI — ATM transaction inconsistency

Sir,
I'm an customer of SBI-HCU branch in Hyderabad. I posted a written complaint regarding malfunction of ATM in SBI-HCU branch. The complaint contains details of my account and date of the malfunction of ATM where Rs.500/- had deducted from my account even though they went back as they folded. The person who received my complaint said the ATM had troubled other people on the day and got complaints from them so they said it takes 2 to 3 days of time.
Till Now I haven't get any response from them regarding the issue. So please consider the issue and refund my amount as soon as possible.
I posted mail to SBI help line for the issue, they responded with the acknowledgement of complaint but not with the solution. After 10 days of my first mail, I sent one more mail, they replied "But the grievance of the customer was neither redressed nor the complainant advised of the status of the complaint. We forward again the mail received from the customer for your immediate personal attention".
Its already 15 days passed for which work to be taken in 2-3 days. Is it No.1 banking company in India? Why ATMs if we lose money for it? We are not making money as tree makes leaves!
I'm expecting the result from atleast this complaint. And wish the bank will serve the nation such that nation develop.

i hold a SBI account with Sarjapur Branch.i created this account on 20-Nov 2008 by depositing 1000 Rupees. i later got a Cheque book and ATM card for the same.i later thought to draw 100 rupees using the ATM card,to check whether my ATM card is funcitoning or not,i never knew that every quarter the bank is deducting 200 and now i have lost 600 Rupees in a span of just nine months. i have today deposited 9000 rupees in my account.will i get the 600 rupees back to my account.All my details(including address,telephone number ) is with SBI bank ,can't they intimate me in any medium,so that i am aware of this deduction.
Please let me know,whether my 600 rupees will be creditted back to my SBI account.

My Relatives deposited amount Rs. 50, 000 in to my account from Gadwal Branch by two members each Rs. 25, 000 .But SBI deducted Rs. 100 Rs inter city (Rs. 50 for 25000). I want to enquire, is there any charges of depositing amount in same bank through other branch of SBI INDIA & let you know even Axis Bank & HDFC Banks have not been followingup this type of Procedure.
