I found my atm card on dated 20.03.2009 and also my pin no. 3115 when I was working my atm card, then the system wrote that the pin no. is invalied so i changed my pin no6864.in this system still the problem is continue then I tried three times and the card has been blucked so i request u please give me the new pin no and also unlocked my card.

State Bank of India — Faulty ATM Transaction.

Sir, i have made transaction from ATM center of Bank of Baroada, Margaon extension Counter, GOA on 13/12/2008 at 05.43 am and responce was no withdrawl (Seq. No.3984 ) and again i made transaction at same ATM counter at 05.44 (seq. No. 3986) and withdraw the amount of 1000/-. But later, when i checked my account, i found that insted of 1000/-, from my account 3000/- rs was deducted. when i made complaint about this to both said bank, Bank Of Baroad send me reply that there is no excess deduction from there side. So i contacted to SBI, by online as well on paper, but till this date i have not got my money back and whwnever i tried to contact them on phone, they used to give me no answer or wait for time and talk like a begger. i have withdrawn 800 rs from state bank of patiala atm from sec 15A chandigarh on 22nd nov,09.my account is with sbi ,pgi chandigarh.sec 12.same amount of money has automatically deducted on 23rd,09 from my account under same transection no as for 22nd nov,09 for the same atm.im giving written and online complaints since 26th nov,09.my bank is forwarding my complaints to head office bombay but no satisfactory reply i got since then.it is a matter of lots of mental harrasment for me.i have get it checked from state bank of patiala 15 A branch and they have cleared that there was no transection for 23rd nov,09.and it is a tecnical mistake ans sbi will give me my money back immediately but im not getting any cooperation from anywhere.please do solve my problem .i have made so many visits to the bank sice nov of last year.n headquater people say that there is no catagory of such complaints.means complaint should give its catagory before happening.is there any justice for we indians in our own country or not?

I had gone to withdraw some money from the Kolkata University ATM centre on the 18th of Feb. I typed in Rs. 400, but the machine responded with an unable to process slip. Then I typed Rs. 300, with the same result. However, the mini-statement showed a transaction of Rs. 700 deducted from my account.
I lodged a complaint with the manager and he promised to reimburse the amount lost. However, even after a week my account was not refilled. When I went there again today, I was told that the complaint should be lodged at my own bank (which is about 700 km in Kalimpong).
The manager could have told me the same over a week ago, but now because of him i have lost the amount. Moreover, such faulty ATM machines should be repaired.

sir, i hold an saving bank / pension account no.[protected]in SBI Bijnor U.P.and have following grievances/complaints for their substandard services damaging me.
(a) i applied for cheque book at par and the chief manager personally took my application on 21 jan, 08 and assured that you shall directly recive it with in 21 days at your home address, 6 holy lane bijnor. having not recieved the book for a month i visited bank to inquire and was old o wait for some time and collect cheque book from bank. i even visited bank a few times when Manager was admitted in a hospital for his operation but of no avail. today i met manager again who saw on the comuter and told me that application was not sent and he was in hospital, an excuse not expected of a manager. he took another application but how would i save my transfer charghes since i am to send nearly 5 lakh to AWHO Army headquarters by april 3rd and why such a treat ment is being given.
2. i also draw my pension which was held up since as per them i failed to submit live certificate. it is a pity that bank holds no obligation and continues holding my pension for 5 months.eaven having submitted certificate and sanction recieved person tells that pension now will be given only with next month's pension. do the think, i do not need money?. what happens to period when money has been held, will authorties grant me interest for the period holding my pension illeagaly.
3. i have asked them and given application at the same time to put my money for double benefits as introduced. hope they do but you need to confirm.
4. my pension account was transferred from SBI fort william kolkata but no six monthly interest was given here by sayng that they must have given which needs to be confirmed if so how much? the account no.

Now all benifits of pension should go to my mother, as mentioned in pension book. however we have completed all the formalities and submitted all docs & a new state bank account no in name of mothers. it has been four months till now my mother has not received the pensions, I have personally conctacted the Barnch Manager where my father was holding is pension account in regarding the above query.

with due respect I want to bring under your kind notice that your branch at amritsar majitha road, galla malla chowk, here a asstt. manager named MAHAJAN that is a local guy is looting the people by his bad means .He is moxed with out sider's Interestierous(Viajaria's)rate of interest of these people is 10% per month.He picked withdrawl forms from these persons and withdraw money by his own means and handed over that money to those people, who give them fixed rate of money .Loans also sanction to those people's who give him 12% amount of loan.A person who did n't handed over money to him that person always roaming to and fro towards the bank .He can't have a loan from your bank.So such a person should be transfered to andeman nichobar to collect eggs of crocodiles.

The SBI customers will be aghast to learn that despite my letter to SBI, Model Town - II Branch, dated the 8th December, 08, followed by e-mails to grievances cell from early ( 2nd to 15 Jan.09, and finally a letter to the DY.General Manager, Delhi Zonal Office, the branch has not forwarded me the statements of my (Manishi Sarma) Educational, Savings and Car Loan accounts. This is the kind of customer service rendered by the Bank which boasts of best of customer care and Pure Banking Service.

Every time I request for the captioned documents it is the same story.

I have used my SBI ATM card in ICICI ATM Machine but I have not got money from the machine while Rs.12000/- debited from my Account then I lodged a complaint in my SBI Branch at Thana Bhavan Dist. Muzaffarnagar (U.P), but still i have not received any reply from the branch.

I had been to SBI, ITPB on July 07, 2009 .I enquired about the Recurring deposit plans and how it is calulated.The Branch Manager says that I dont know and we do not have a calculator for calculating the interest Online for Recurring Deposit.I waited for almost 15-20 mnts and came back without any answer.

I told I have an account with SBI, Indiranagar.Immediately the Branch Manager is telling that we will transfer the account to ITPB Branch and then we will process without even asking whether Iam interested to change the account from Indiranagar to ITPB Branch.

Always there is a Big Queue and atmost only 2 counters or 1 counter is only functional.People wait for hours and go back.All this happens in the presence of Branch Manager, but no measures are taken to serve the waiting people.

When the banker is SBI, the service level level is worst. The bank employees are least bothered and the attitude is very much "Sarkari". You will find typical local-chaps sitting over there who do have neither dressing nor talking sense. It does not matter to them if you like it or not. It has been more than one year, I have not received my ATM card. For everything, the standard answer, "You have to write an application sir", and God knows what they do with that. I have requested two times to change my address with applications and address proofs but till today it has not been done. I still did not understand, what is the problem. There is no quality monitoring system or all of them belongs to the same inefficient bunch.

The online telephone service is even more pathetic. The standard answer for everything is, "...due to some technical problem, we can not provide you the information now, please call after one hour."

In online banking, you will never find a option where you can post a complaint or call for an attention.

I am having SBI salary account. But they did not provided the reimbursement account. After a call they given one account, which is not activated. They did not provided servicing online request. So it is problem for me to go SBI Bank at office hours. On Saturdays they work only up-to 1:00 PM.
They did not provided adding the phone number to our account. We have to fill a form and we have to give them. I Went to SBI Bank at 12:30, the concerned person was not there. like me 20 to 30 members were waiting there. So they just taken the request forms, they told they will do favor. Two months over, till no action. I wont know all banks are like this or our SBI people are stupid...

Yes, I agree. For minute things they take quite a long time and you have to run to the bank again and again. There are few very good people over there and few horribly bad. They have terrible problem with attitude. They should first learn how to behave with others. They speak as if they are VIPs. Strangest part is no action has been taken so far even after so many complaints.

NO PROPER RESPONSE for any QUERIES, this is one of the worst bank in Bangalore. they talk like a GOONDAS.

I AM HAVING A/C IN SBI ITPL BRANCH, TO OPEN PPF ACCOUNT I WENT TO 4 TIMES, SIMPLY THEY R TELLING U COME TOMRW LIKE THAT, FINALLY I OPENED AFTER 6 MONTHS

I had a similar issue with SBI Indiranagar. There is a staff named K Rani who is incharge of issues related to online banking.

While they claim most services could be availed online; but the fact is that be it to make a utility bill payment; transfer funds to any other banks, reset password, validate phone number, reactivation of online account etc one has to collect separate forms and wait for almost 10 -15 days for the approval to be in place.

Inspite of having an PPF account with them for long;I had to visit the branch mutiple times for activation of various services as part of my new Savings Account. The staff named K Rani is the most un proffessional person that I have ever encountered during my last 10 years of banking experience.

She won't even bother to check the issue that's being reported nor would she give you the forms upfront. Instead she would ask to to come later and try filling the required forms. This forced me to close all relationships with SBI Indiranagar NRI Branch HAL II Stage.

This staff claims that whatever the branch staff like her says is final and all the information that the customer might have collected from the SBI Contact centre is wrong. She opening claims that the SBI Contact Center staff does not know the process.

I wonder why does SBI print a toll free number on their card and advise customers with incorrect information on the first place.

The most disgusting thing about all is that most customers end up wasting over 1-2 hours at an average with every visit to the branch.

No wonder; experienced IT folks do NOT prefer to open any relationships with this big boy called STATE BANK OF INDIA.

My sincere advise to all those IT folks who wish to open any relationship with SBI to be aware of worst service quality that you would encounter once you are in.

Further; I won't be suprised if SBI losses most of it's customers in a decade's time to private players unless they revamp and recruit professionals.


Better pay a bit more and go for private banks be rest assured of the delivery of service.

Dear Sir,
I had opened a savings account of my wife in SBI-Gokuldham branch, Goregaon-E, Mumbai. At the time of opening i had communicated that i want to open minimum balance account for my wife and they told that it is Rs.1000 balance account. I aggreed to that and opened my wifes account. But in march closing they had put a penality of Rs. 200 as less balance in my wife accout though it was Rs. 2200 (which is more that Rs. 1000). When i enquired they said it is Rs. 5000 minimum balance account. I requested the branch manager multiple times, he assured to reverse the penality also but its now more than 16 mails and more than one and half month they have not reveresed the penality and neither replied to any of my mail.
Please help me in reolving this problem.

First of all thanks for replying. Please let me know if both these cards are debit cards or crdit+debit cards? I am to get the pin of my debit card from you, keep that card activated and cancel my another card.

Another request was for reversal of minimum balance charges from my wife account (plz refer trailing mail), as discussed with you I was told (at the time of opening the account) that it is Rs. 1000 only.
Then how come it is changed to Rs. 5000 minimum balance.

You are the No.1 Bank in India, every Indian's have huge faith on you, I too. But recently I have received a bitter experience from your Bank for that faith has gone.I have applied for a Housing loan(extension purpose) last week January 2010 at your Airport Branch. We have a house at Airport 2 no.Gate area only Ground floor but due to space problem we want to extension of two rooms on the first floor, my mother (Chhabi Mukherjee) is the sole land owner and we are two brothers (Goutam Mukherjee & Gourab Mukherjee). As per the requirement of your officer, also she has given me a printed list of documents require for this loan, I have submitted all the paper and she has checked, verified and accepted. Then she forwarded my file to RACPC
for process and sanction, unfortunately middle of this month one phone call came from your Airport branch & informed me that my loan has not sanction, within this period your people visited 5 times to our home 2 times to my office for verification, information, valuation etc.I have also submitted 3 cheques (Rs.3000.00) your bank has already deducted some money. After completion of all the formalities Processing officer (R.Krishna) submitted our file to Sanction Officer for sanction the loan.Sanction Officer found a error in our file that is age of my mother is 69+, as per your Bank rule that land owner should repay the loan within 70 years of age, it is not possible for my mother. It is one of main rule for housing loan. but it is a shocking experience and also frustrating to me that when I submitted the application we are clearly mentioned on the form age of my mother and mine. Just think if my age is 45 my mother age can not be 55 or 60, but your well educated and trained officer's they do not know the main rules for housing loan (Extension purpose), for their ignorance and careless attitude I have lost some money as well as two months time, time is most valuable in the world may be it is not important to your bank and regarding money that was not gone for their pocket. already I have started our construction work for that I have invest lot of money now I am in deep trouble, now I am asking you who will take care of my loss problem ? How many days takes to scrutinize a file, I am also working with a multinational company our company has the branches all over the Globe, we are also handle lot of files after getting a files we check the main point then proceed. This experience I will share all the people to whom I know friends, relatives and try to close the account in SBI.

I am requesting you pl provide a educated & trained people on the front desk who are interact with the customer and know the rules well,
then harassment like me will be reduce or nil.Tell your employee attend the customer in proper way and with respect.

I have sucsessfully registerd Application by the Registration ID : 1359699 for the Post of Clerk Exam 2009.
I have also received mail from SBI with ID & Pasword.But I am facing some problem to take a printout of the system generated application form, as your website is not dasplaying the Re-Print option.

So Please you are requested to send by mail to me the procedure to take a printout of the system generated application form. with web site name and procedure.

Ihave already deposite my payment of last month through cheque.Initially i got call from there side that do not deposite it through cash our gay will collect your payment.But they incesting me to deposite through cheque only.I gave them cheque dated on 30th april.They commited me it will go on 2nd may.As far there commitment in my account i kept at least that much of ammout, because my salary also cradited on 1st may, My balance also good that time.But i transfar my few ammount of my in another account on 5th.But cheque is going for clearence on 6th.Even SBI did not inform me.My cheque has been bounced.ICICI deduct 355 rupees from my account.I got to know after 20 days when some other person mr ASHOK from Mutha Chember Pune came to my office for amount.I already deposited another cheque on SBI Pune head office.Now a days ASHOK from Mutha Chember slaging on me, harrashing me, misbehave with me, evening given threate that i will skrud you, i will broke your hand and legs.
This kind of Service are you providing?
Can you just tell me who is responsibe for that?
Who will pay my 355 rupees?

Other wise I will lonch Police complain against SBI, I will go consumer court.
I want My MONEY back immidiately and immidiate feed back.
SBI Should take it seriously.
