i bought one steve madden shoes a year back...i wore it about 4-5 times...then i kept it back for using it the next season...i kept it dry and neat and all covered in its shoe box...when i oened it this year..it was all torn...and the so called leather( which is definitely not leather) was coming out...i also sent them mail but no reply... finally im putting a complaint here...worst product in shoes...my 5500 rs totally wasted.. even dr scholls, reebok and other products go on for 4-5 years...unbelievable!! When I purchased the bag-
• First of all it was billed in the name of different person
• Second it was chipped off at the time of purchase. I got it returned and took another piece of the same bag (which was again chipped and I noticed it later) with which sales representative gave instruction for handling PU bag’s. I asked them if I could change/return the product, however they refused.
Its been more than a month I visited the branch and explained the situation and I was repeatedly told that this is from our old stock(nearly 2 years old) and also you purchased it during Sale period and we can’t help you.
After explaining the situation again and again that it was a faulty product right from the time I purchased it, they asked me the purchase details which I could recover from my Bank statement and got to know that it was billed under someone else’s name and I also explained that both the pieces of the Hand bag was faulty.
Hence after a month’s time, with conversation with Saurabh and Sheetal (Ambience Mall, Gurgaon), they advised that nothing can happen as it belongs to Sale.
I think you guys make cheap stuff specially for sale and which doesn’t belongs to Steve Madden, Is it so?????? Also customer service is too poor as I had to follow up with your Gurgaon, Ambience branch many times with no resolution.
There is a brand value for Steve Madden and I think I took Steve Madden bag because of this reason only.I used it only single time.
I want to launch complaint regarding Brand Name, Poor Customer Service, Poor quality used in your products especially during sale time.
I can send you guys a picture of my handbag if necessary. You may also check with the branch, they already took it for their reference.
