Stray Dogs — Complaints

Dear sir, we in green park extension in south delhi are facing a huge problem of stray dogs. They are biting kids and running after them on the roads. They defecate all over the place, get garbage packets from the garbage dumps and tear them on the roads leaving the colony dirty and promoting diseases. Packs of dogs bark and fight at night over food. The colony residents can't even sleep or walk on the roads anymore. Deer park is full of them and residents have stopped using the park. People feeding them leave food scattered all over the place promoting sanitary and sewage problems. We also love animals but keeping our colony, city and country clean is also our duty. The dogs can be shifted to zoo or some other dog shelters and taken care off. Leaving wild stray dogs in colonies is going to do no good to anybody. Request authorities to work out some solution please.

In shastri nagar these street dogs are suffering from disease and they are in very bad conditions I have made calls to help in suffering an NGO but didn't received and reaction. I am here not to complain regarding ngo but I have a serious concern about these dogs. In such a hot whether thses dogs have a disease which is contiguous and every dog of the colony is infected.

My name is sanjay gahlawat would like to bring your kind attention on the problem which Ward no. 26 nr jaat college west ram nagar sonipat - 131001 areas people facing in these days. There are so many mad street dogs in this locality because of them it’s very difficult to take step out from our houses especially at night. I come late night from my office and I have seen and faced this situation where these dogs barks on us and they come closer to the motor bike rider to bite them. Sometime biker loses their consideration from the road which becomes a cause of serious causalities.

Generally, these dogs you can see lying on the roads and they make their victim the entire person who passes from them. I have fallen on the bike two times as well. So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send immediately Dog catcher team in this area so that we will get rid of this problem soon.

I wants to take your mind about a very serious problem in our F-block colony which is situated at 3rd 60 feet road Molarband Extn. Badarpur Delhi -110044. There are more than 15 dogs. They are barking all day night and creating disturbance to others and they always try to bite person who is going to do some work. They follows a bike which is going nearby them .So kindly help us sir this is biggest problem in our colony !

The increase in number of Street dogs is causing lot of problem.It has caused two cases of dog biyes and attach on small children.It is very difficult to walk safely on roads.please look into the matter and provide us with solution.

I am a resident of pocket 11 A, DDA FLATS, Kalkaji Extn, New Delhi - 19, I bring to your kind notice and mandatory piece of information that we are facing a tremendous problem due to the 4-5 street dogs in front of our area . The brown, white and brown dogs barking on every people, biting kids and other people.These dogs attacked on the street passerby and as well as neighbors, sometimes they wounded children and adult passing through dogs. Due to these dogs the atmosphere of the society is scary and too bad.

We already request many times to dog Squad MCD to kindly take some immediate and necessary action and send the dog squad immediately to avoid these problems.

A black needs to be relocated as it has bitten about 30
children and ladies for the past 15 days opposite my house.kindly take urgent action as children are unable to move out for school and for playing.

We have been in trouble by the increase in the number of street dogs. They are wild and chasing the peoplee, and very problamatic in early morning. Please send a dog van to catch them. I hope you understand the situation.

By night 1-2 pm those dogs chases the two wheeler riding person...
My locality have more number of old age fellows including my grand paremts who are 80 years and above.

Hi, am residing at Radhe bunglows, khokhra, maninagar and am facing a hell lot of problem of street dogs in our society, in fact every one is facing the problem. All dogs are very much violent. Am a banker and usually am coming home after 8 and this street dogs are completely violent and they every time attacks on me and somehow I escape from them and this has now become very much threatening. There are almost 10 to 11 street dogs roaming in our society and this we are complaining second time. Earlier also my husband has complained about the problem and we have received revert that your complaint has been resolved, but to our surprise still dogs are their in our society then how come your department confirms that complaint has been resolved.
I urge you to look into the matter on immediate basis or else I have to escalate the matter to higher authorities, since now the dogs have became life threatening.
I also request to confirm the line of action taken by the department. Prompt response will highly be appreciated. My address:

We are residents of Kamalabai colony, near Pochama teple, Nagaram, ECIL. There are a number of stray dogs in our colony which are wild . They are housing a lot at day and mostly at night which is causing a lot noise pollution due which we are unable to sleep. Please send a van to catch them as soon as possible and request you to complete our request.

WE stay at 1/10 Gomantak society mahant road vile parle east and my father in law goes for morning walk at 7 am when 4-5 dogs attacked him near Gujrat society near Dubashi ground since he was in cap covering ears and chin. One dog bite him on left leg. I wanted BMC to pick up those dogs. Dangerous for kids as well who stand their for school buses.

This is regarding the increased number of stray dogs in our locality. I have already complained regarding to GHMC several number of times but all in vain. No action has been taken yet. I have been bitten by these street dogs twice for now. They chase the residents and bite them. Its really dangerous for the women, children and senior residents of the society.Please come to our rescue and save us from these dogs. Hoping to get a response from you.

Hi... This is rajkumar from yadavnagar at malkajgiri. We are facing several Problems due to Street Dogs.These pack of dogs howl at night which cause severe disturbance at night, when i have night shift usually i came in the early morning at 4 am at that time they are cause so much disturbance near by 10 dogs are stay near by our appartment .These dogs become a serious threat for the residents of these adjoining colonies. Please intervene and initiate necessary action. Kindly take action at the earliest

Hello Sir I stay in panchavati colony, manikonda. The no of stray dogs in the colony are increasing day by day and it is becoming extremely difficult to travel on the bikes and we are facing sleepless nights due to continuous barking of the dogs all through night. I stay in an apartment close to Studio -N in panchavati colony. Please help the colony by clearing these stray dogs.
