Stray Dogs — Complaints

The lanes within Nilgiri Apartments, Alaknanda are piled with dog and leftover of food thrown to the stray dogs which keep on growing in numbers. They bark at through the day, at night and early mornings and do not even permit you to have a sound sleep. Can MCD take them to an area so that the residents can live in peace.

In this country called India, we can kill chickens, goats, lambs etc to convert them into delicious non-vegetarian food. We can kill mosquitoes, cockroaches, rats and rodents etc in the name of cleanliness, saving property and life. But you cannot kill USELESS stray dogs because of some INHUMAN and BARBARIC group of people who call themselves as 'Animal Acivists'. These so called activists behave as if stray dogs are the only animals to have a right to live, rest all can be killed, especially in the name of non-vegetarian food. These activists are the MOST INHUMAN AND BARBARIC set of people. Either they should object to killing of all animals/insects/rodents or not object to killing of any animal including stray dogs. It seems they love stray dogs for some unknown 'private' reasons. They will not understand unless their family kids get bitten or killed by a stray dog. I think such activists are either bachelors or unable to reproduce or always stay in AC houses and offices and they do not hear any UNNECESSARY dog barking in the night. They are just BIG B_ _ _ _ _ _ _ .

A lot of Stray dogs in Shalimar Garden Extn-II, specially in C-Block. A recently formed RWA is just in a mood of collecting payments from Flat owners. Recently in an incident, around 6-7 dogs are chasing a school boy who is riding on his bicycle in the morning hours.

RWA and authorities should take some action against stray dogs.

I am not sure if this complaint gets attention as my earlier call to MCD and a complaint on this site has not been heard as of now.

Anyways with little choice in hand, I again write requesting the MCD to help the residents of AD and AC Block in Shalimar Bagh where we have stray dogs who team up and attack passers and create a nuisance for children who think twice before entering the park for playing.

Reaching out to my association also does not get any attention towards solution of the problem as they feel till the time some of the residents feed the stray dogs, they would continue to haunt the rest of the children and adults.

Could you please take this and help.

STRAY DOGS MENACE — stray dog menace at paschim vihar BG5/

As the residents of BG5 & BG5A blocks Paschim vihar repeatedly been complaining about stray dogs menace. No action has been taken so far . Some local residents in conivance with authorities taking full advantage of thier contacts bring back stray dogs saying it as auspicious to serve dogs.
people with old belief still reside here,after taking alchohal they believe in serving stray dogs as very auspicious. In the very recent past there has been many a cases of dog bites.There may be many poor who cannot even afford to take an anti rabbies vaccine.
Therefore it is a most humble request to take neccessary action in this regards and stop stray dogs menace from the area at the earliest possible time.

I am a resident of east of kailash, E-Block. I would like to grab your attention in regards to the menace caused by stray monkeys in our area. There are around 4 stray monkeys and are a cause of serious concern in regards to the safety of the people staying in the area.Our kids cannot go out. Nuisance of stray dogs — Dogs have to be removed

Hello I am G.Swetha. We live in St#1, M.J.Colony, Moula ali, Hyderabad. The nuisance of dogs has increased in our locality. There is no person raising this issue here. These dogs keep barking whole night disturbing sleep of everyone in the apartments. They never stop barking. Also it has become very difficult for students and other people to attend to their early morning tuitions and classes like gym/ yoga respectively. So I request the govt. and MCH to look in to this matter. Kindly help us and do the needful.

A Stray Dog Bit Me in front of Shri Niwas Building, S.V. Road, Malad (West), Mumbai - 400 064. And There are many stray dog in the lane that I live in. My Postal Address is: 221, "Vrajesh Apt." Stray Dogs — Stray dogs in Thiruvanmiyur beach

Dear Sir,
I am a resident in Tiruvanmayur and love to walk everyday along the beach. But, over the last few days, I have been attacked by stray dogs residing along the beach. This cause lot of distress and i'm scared to walk along the beach. I'm sure many elders and family walking along the beach face similar concern. I would appreciate if Chennai municipality authorities could move the stray dogs to proper shelter and protect the public.

As we have complained earlier stray dog menace is rising day by day at BG5/BG5A blocks paschim vihar,to my utmost astonishment no action has been taken so far by concerned authorities to remove/arrest these stray dogs.Now there is more development that they sit right in between the stairs and give wild & ugly look as if to bite.people who come late at night are really helpless.Do we seek police help to remove these stray dogs.
We are really worried & suffering,childeren can't move out of the house.
An early action shall be appreciated.

Stray dog — No action from BMS regarding the Stray Dog menace at Nanda Patkar road

Hello,

This is a complaint against the Muncipal Corporation for their inability to tackle the stray dogs menace at Nanda Patkar Road Extension near Jay Chambers.
There a pack of 5/6 dogs who keep chasing and barking at us when we pass by. Our children are too scared to even go to school because of this.

Our we waiting for a repeat of the case where a child was torn by the dogs? Moreover there are many people even feeding the dogs then they chase people carrying plastic bags.

This is my sincere plea to get something done about these aggressive dogs. BMC keps saying that these dogs are steralized when asked abt if they have been injected for rabbies like pet dogs.. How ridiculous is that...

Kindly look into this urgently. Its become a dogs lane at Nanda patkar Road extension.

STRAY DOGS MENACE — Stray dogs menace at thiruverkadu

This is to bring to your notice that we the residents of Pallavan nagar of Tiruverkadu located close to the mega city chennai are facing serious attacks from the stray dogs. These stray dogs are attacking the school going children for snatching food carriers. Children are bewildered and these dogs chase and panic the children who run with fear and my daughter's classmate is one who fell down and received serious bruises on legs and hands. We are unable to move in and around our vicinity freely. It would not be an exaggeration if we say that we are living in utter fear and feeling insecured. These dogs are climbing the walls and sneaking in to houses too. We thought of befriending them by putting some food but then too these stray dogs are behaving wildly. We are ashamed that we are living in such a pathetic environment and none is bothered to improve civic condition and safety.

I wonder why there is no controlling measure at all!! It appears that Tiruverkadu is fully neglected and ignored. Tiruverkadu needs new lease of life

I humbly appeal the concerned authorities to please ensure that corrective and preventive measures are taken immediately.

Im a resident of Kopar Khairane Sector 1, Navi Mumbai, living since 3 yrs time, over the period the number of stray dogs have increased in the locality creating a menace to all including littering all over by their , please look into the matter & take appropriate step to remove these stray dogs from the Sector 1, Kopar Khairane area before these stray dogs endangers someone's life. Puram New Delhi are facing greate problem due to threat of STRAY DOGS several dogs are being seen in this area barking on seeing any human being passes throgh theire houses even bitten many people in this area .
