I have been a resident of 13th Road, Chembur, Mumbai - 400071 'M' ward since the last 30 years and would like to bring your attention to the menace being caused by stray dogs in our area. Of late, it has become very difficult and scary to walk on 13th Road early in the morning as well as late at night, when you get confronted by these stray dogs who start barking and follow you threatening to bite as well. Children and senior citizens are most vulnerable, but these dogs seem to attack almost anyone. Hence would request the BMC in the local area to come and take these dogs away who are becoming a nuisance to the residents of 13th Road, Chembur.
Request to please look into the matter urgently.

We Would like to draw your kind attention towards ANNOYING STREET/ STRAY DOGS in our area BLOCK 34/35 EAST PATEL NAGAR.
We would like to bring this to your kind notice that lots and lots of stray dogs are there in area mainly due to the garbage dump next to Shiv Mandir ,most of the times in a group running around the garbage dump & all aroound the mentioned area.
Also they sleep at house entrances & do everywhere as a result the roads, foot paths etc. are emitting foul smell.They keep barking and fighting through out day and Night which disturb peaceful environment & sleep during the night. They are also fear for women & children walking lest they will bite them.
Due to these dogs the residents of this locality are living in very unhygenic, dangerous & disturbing condition. Some residents have kept some of these dogs.we are facing lots of problems.
So we request the authority to take urgent necessary action on it & eliminate the stray animals.

Last week one of my friend got attacked and yesterday it was my cousin sister.

The menace of Stray dogs in increasing day by day
There are about 20 stray dogs in Krishnappa Garden 1st Main Road,Tilak nagar Area,Bannergatta Road,(Near Sagar Hospital)Ward 153,Jayanagar Constituency, Bangalore.These dogs are ferocious and has attacked citizens,passers by and recently my wife and my neighbour was attacked and bitten.Concerned authorities,BBMP health dept and even elected representatives are not taking any suitable action to stop this serious issue, inspite many complaints,requests and what not ! This problem must be solved at once.

Dear Sir,
I live in Sultanpalya area on RT Nagar in Bangalore. Stray Dogs are becoming a threat here. They roam around in the streets and attack us when we go for walk. Due to these dogs, we are forced to go in car even to the shop in next street. Apart from this they keep on barking whole night and we are unable to sleep because of this.

Shocked to read the above comments of some gentlemen from shalimar garden.It is disgusting, absured ! Each and every creatures are created by God, they have every right to share the space with earth, like Human . So not soo bothered about the street dog, because of none of them are coming to your doorstep for food, let them live. Besides, Pls suggest RWA- C Block, instead of chasing Street dogs, ensure timely replacement of dead street lights & fill the gutters at roads, that is more Worth.

STRAY DOGS MENACE — Stray dogs menace in Mayur Vihar Ph-3
Dear Sirs,Thru this, I would like to draw your attention towards growing menace of stray dogs in our locality i.e. Pocket A-3 (Group 13) Mayur Vihar Phase-3. There are around 6-7 stray (mad) dogs in our colony who dwell in and around our colony and some times used to sit on staircases of flats. Thses dogs have bitten many people including children and old citizens. Children in our colony are scared to go out due to growing fear of these dogs.
Earlier also I have brought this to the notice of concerned authorities but nothing has been done in this matter. I request the concerned authorities to kidly take the necessary action immediatly.

Kindly take the dogs away…especially one big…very Old Dog…who attacks me almost every evening while I return home from work.
I nearly escaped an accident early this morning, when this dog came charging. I am sure Female security is also one of your priorities…so please look in to this immediately.

As mentioned earlier in anti stray dogs menace in our colony , no action has been taken so far .In the recent past there again have been cases of stray DOGS bites. Domestic help ladies who are poor and can't afford to even get anti rabbis vaccines, even they are not aware of availability,get prey to dog bites quite often.
It is therefore requested with concerned authorities to take neccesary steps , where in stray dogs can be seen on stairs also and do not allow a person to alight stairs.
An early action in this regards shall be highly appreciated.
