Hi,

When i topup for rs 100rs in my sundirect account, i see only 42rs balance in the account.
Is it the gst? If not, then what tax it is?
If it is gst, why do you need to cut that amount just for a topup (Which is not a service, but just a topup).
For service, there is an 18% tax is levied after channel selection and recharge?

Let's say I top up my Sundirect's wallet with 1000rs. Only 880 will be credited to the wallet.

After selecting some required channels, let's say it costed me 100rs for 5 channels. Now I have to lay 100+18%gst = 118rs.
118rs will be debited from my Sundirect's wallet.
We know this 18% tax is gst.

But what about the tax collected on topup. Need some clarity over here.

Shame. Give me a clarification about tax cut on topup?
