We are facing frequent power cut in New Raja colony North extn, Beema Nagar, trichy-620001 and the EB officials told us that there is a problem in our area transformer and need a complete service for that. I request you to do the needful at the earliest.

    We are facing frequent power cut in 4th cross street, samayapuram nagar, porur, Chennai -600116 and the EB office phone is always busy and not picking our call.

      It's been a week since I am trying to reach out to my area eb AE. But at as usual falls on deaf ears to update my current reading. Please help as they just don't check msgs, answer phn calls or even check emails ([protected], [protected]@tnebnet.org)
      I am providing the card numbers and the other details below. The area is Avadi, Poompuzil Nagar, Chennai. The bills are on name of Mr.Arokiyasami (Sr citizen)

      1. Consumer no - [protected]
      Last bill - 23/03 - 4860 units reading
      Current bill - 22/05 - 5440 units reading

      2. Consumer no - [protected]
      Last bill - 23/03 - 35760 units reading
      Current bill - 22/05 - 36283 units reading

        It is learnt that Tangedco has posted the details of calculation of the amount to be paid towards May, 21 bill, in its web site, as meter reading and calculation of actual amount of the bill is not done by the regular assessor as usual in this month due to lockdown.Further, they have informed that the discrepancy in the amount will be adjusted against the bill of July, 21.They have confused also the consumers with 2 options:
        1.Either the amount paid towards the bill of the last May, 2019(it should be May 2020, I think)

        2.OR the amount paid for March, 21 whichever is justifiable;
        However, TNEB has uploaded the amount in the respective consumer numbers.The actual bill amount of March, 21 for my account was Rs.1010/- but, where as, they have notified Rs.2242/-for May, 21, which is more than double that is not justified.TNEB should come forward with a concrete pattern and should not confuse the consumers, unnecessarily.They should make corrections in the uploaded amount.Also, they should be very clear about the amount to be paid, i.e either the amount paid towards the bill of last May(2020) OR the amount paid for March, 21 bill, whichever is lower.Will they?

          Dear sir/ madam,
          May 25 th I'm made a TN electricity bill payment throw HDFC NETBANKING transaction for
          EB service num: [protected]. And the amount Rs 800. First time bill recept not generated also amount debited but I unaware about amount deduction and same bill show not paid. I tried second time and paid my bill.
          Two times amount debited first transaction amont still now not credited.
          First transaction ref no:[protected]
          Second transaction re no:[protected].
          Pls refund the amount.

            Respected sir our home meter is running very fastly.last 3 month current bill status was 2600, 2700 2800 like this.we already compliment on eb but they are not response.so please check our meter issues or change the meter.

              My house with G floor and I floor at L.N.P.Kovil street, :Pallikaranai, Chennai.600100. From January 2021 the I floor premises is vacant. As per previous reading on 29-3-21 the reading was 10 units and no payment due for I floor whereas for Ground floor which is in use the amount assessed being 590 units and I paid Rs.2334/. vide receipt on 5-4-21. Now for the current period viz. 29-5-21 the first floor reading was not taken but amount assessed being Rs.590/ which is incorrect. Need to be revised to 0 amount

                Our apartment complex Vaibhavi Apartments with Consumer No. [protected]. Since a few months we have reduced our billing a lot. E.g. March 2021 is Rs. 4552/-. I took a physical reading on 27 May 2021 and fed in the consumed units 1294 for this period in the TANGEDCO calculator... The amount shown was Rs 6994/-.

                I immediately paid that amount (pay advance). Now EB tells me my March 2019 bill was Rs 14000 (odd) and I have to pay a balance of Rs 7000 (odd)

                A photo of the meter taken on 27 May 2021 is attached... Kindly make the necessary changes in your website...

                  Hi Sir/Madam, I am located at Villupuram district Kaendachipuram taluk manampoondi. Here last 4 days we are facing power disconnection problem in all area per day 7 to 9 hours power disconnection will happen. Due to this issue we are unable to do office work in home and facing issues on daily works in home. Especially while going sleep they are disconnecting the power connection. So kindly do needful please take proper action on it.

                          Bill readings are not taken from meter and it's house.but reading in bill shows nearly 2000 unit.. it's not possible..house meter shoes only 50 unit. Kindly look into ASAP

                            Our service number is [protected], the electricity bill states the amount of Rs.2638 for 630 units, but the house has been empty in the month of April and only one portion has been used in the month of May. Rs.2638 is impossible since no one has occupied the front portion of the house. No one had come to take the readings from the EB like they usually do, So I request you to please check the readings of the house and charge the electricity bill amount.

                                We are living in kondithope and our EB office is located at 7 wells. Recently Government has suggested the consumers to capture the snapshot of the meter reading and share with AE WhatsApp Number or Email.

                                AE WhatsApp is not active, hence we captured the snapshot of the meter and send an email to these address ([protected]@tnebnet.org, [protected]@tnebnet.org, [protected]@tnebnet.org, [protected]@tnebnet.org) address on 26th April. Since our Last meter reading dated on 25th March 2021.

                                On 27th April I have received SMS that you need to pay "XXX" amount. On checking the portal found that amount has been calculated based on the previous assessment.

                                Despite sending the required snapshot why the amount is being calculated based on the previous assessment. Could any one suggest whether this issue needs to taken to the next level, if yes to whom.

                                  My name is Julius. From arumuganeri ( Thoothukudi dist). There is no current supply only in my house here. In the evening, when I told the eb office about this, they gave me the wire man number. He gave me another number that I did not have .. No use since 4pm .. I have not got any answer till now..

                                  There is no response to contacting 4 wire man persons .. from children to adults are at home .. they have been taken away and have no conscience ... I am sending the mail just to know the real reason for it .. Pls considered sir..

                                    I am residing in Peramanur, opposite to Ford India Pvt Ltd, maraimalai nagar, Chennai. Here frequently power is not distributed properly. Atleast 3 hours power cut is there without any reason. No response to phone calls.
