I am a resident of Shahberi, Greater Noida (UP), under the jurisdiction o[censored]PPCL/PVVNL, and I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding severe and persistent electricity outages in our area.
For the past several weeks, we have been facing daily power cuts ranging from 8 to 10 hours, without any prior notice or clear schedule. These outages are causing extreme inconvenience to families, students, and businesses alike, especially during peak summer temperatures. This happens every year and we are assured that they are working on a solution for an additional line. For the past 2 years we have been told that they are working on a new Substation.
Additionally, I would like to bring to your attention the non-responsiveness and inaccessibility of the Junior Engineer (JE) assigned to the Sudamapuri division.in the past four years, I have made multiple attempts to contact the JE during outages and other electricity-related issues, but not once have my calls been answered or returned. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable and adds to the public frustration.
I request the following:
1. Immediate investigation and resolution of the frequent long-duration power cuts in Shahberi.
2. Accountability and disciplinary action against the JE of Sudamapuri for neglecting public duties.
3. Transparent communication channels for residents to get timely updates about power cuts and restoration.
Please treat this matter with urgency and seriousness. I am also prepared to escalate this complaint to the UPERC and other relevant authorities if the issue remains unresolved.
