    Today(25.11.2020) the main line wire has cut off and dropped down on the street due the tree branches are in contact with the wire. This complaint has logged on 19.11.2020. Before that also, we've orally complaint to the line man many times. But till now(25.11.2020) no action has taken against this issue. Due to the lethargic work of the electricity department, today the main line wire has cut off and dropped down to the street and make contact with rain water clogging on street. If any life threat happen to anyone, Electricity Department belongs to maduravoyal branch is the sole responsible.

        We get frequent Current OFF in my area, They are saying it is Dripp OFF. MAIN OFF or any other reasons and we are in very embarrased situation as old people and Children are getting much affected due to this issue

          Address: 6/24 James 5th Street , poonamalle, Chennai.

          A post was broken yesterday (23.11.2020) night in James 5Th Street ponamale and even after many complaints to the EB working persons, No proper action was taken. In this time of hardship if this post fell it many cost huge things. The post was hanging by a thread knot done by EB person which is just temporary and doesn't look strong enough to hold it. A quick and proper support to the post is needed at this cyclone times.

            Honarable judges, consumer complaint, chennai.

            Good morning my lord.

            Respected sir,

            sub/ref [protected] receipt no 1223050dt 25.09.209 .For rs 45123.

            I.S.Haja sahabudeen legal owner of flat 22 sridevi nagar padmavathi nagar extn 5 th street

            velachery chennai 600042. Rented out the flat to the bachelor boys three from (february 2016

            since january 2016 tneb has not sent any bills for power usage and on line it was show zero balance

            as pending. I would like to bring your kind notice the following points for your consideration

            and judgement.

            1. Why the eb department has not sent any bills for the past 36 months even though we made complaints

            2.Even the eb meter was working properly as the tenants were using only tube lights and fans the

            monthly average bill should come rs 300 pm only.

            3. How the eb department has assessed and calculated rs[protected] + 45123)for 36 months which was

            incorrect and unethical without giving any break up and explanation

            4.Though it was eb department fault for not sending the bills for 36 months how can they force us

            to pay rs 48007 without giving any grace days or 5-6 installments facilities.Hence it is totally un fair

            immoral actions of eb department.

            5.The eb department officials arrived our flat on september 21, 2019 disconnect the power connection

            without any intimations and explanation and made our flat plunged into darkness and forcefully

            made me to pay rs 48007. I suffered a lot to arrange this amount as i am senior citizen and bed ridden

            due to heart attacks and paralised

            prayer.

            Hence i humbly request honourable court to dirct and advise eb department to chagre reasonably

            that rs 300 pm for 36 months rs 10800 only and refund / return rs 37207 which was charged by them

            without any justification.Without making any further delays.

              I've completed since yesterday there is no response in that and without solving complaint marked as resolved once again I'm complaining about voltage fluctuation in my area since 5pm yesterday and today is shutdown day there is no water in my tank if the current gets stable before 9am only we can manage orelse I don't how to manage kindly consider this as important issue and solve it before shutdown time.

                    In our street post whenever it is raining, there are sparks between two lines with bursting sound. Please ask the line man in this area to attend the problem. I tried many times to complain but can't get their line.

                      Regarding Wrong assessment on my connection

                      Wrong assessment made on my meter reading during Aug 20. Because of that my Oct-20 assessment was high.
                      I registered complained to AE-Tharamani Mr.Thirumurugan during Oct 20.
                      He accepted the issue of wrong assessment against actual reading.

                      Still problem not resolved.
                      Foreman Daily switching off my EB connection.

                      Kindly make necessary action...

                      I went to the TNEB office at R.V.Nagar, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai -83 to pay my Electricity bill for Nov, 20, as usual, on 23.11.20( today).This bill collection centre is very near to my locality and is very convenient to pay the bills.But, this time, the lady cashier at the counter bluntly refused to accept the payment without any valid reasons.Further, she directed me to pay the bill at the office in KKNagar, without any iota of kindness or consideration of my age.This is how the Tangedco officials behave with senior citizens and very aged people.I was humiliated by her, what I felt and hence my complaint.This should be brought to the notice of the higher officials of TNEB for proper looking into the affairs of the board and for redressal.TNEB needs well- mannered staff.They should not act on their own.The reasons behind the refusal of my payment should be known to me.Looking forward to Tangedco ' s actions in this regard.

                              Eb pole, wires exposed to road side tree branches

                              At N.G.O. colony 3rd street, Vadapalani-600026,
                              EB pole and live wires are closely covered by roadside tree branches and can cause a dangerous situation due to the rainy season. In the past also the same pole was fell due to the same condition. Sometimes live wires come in contact with each other due to tree branches' movement. Please see the attached photos. Request you to take the necessary action as soon as possible....

                                    We are facing power issue since 2 days seems to be power floatation in the tower. We registered in the complaint record but no update from department as of now. I tried to reach 1912 complaint number but it keeps asking to wait and no response. Please help to restore power services at the earliest since we have 2 old people in our house and they suffer due to suffocation.
