I have registered a complaint in tneb regarding powercut and they allotted me a lineman to resolve this issue whose name is mr. Murugan. He reached my house only after 24 hrs and asked for service fees in a vulgar manner which is not compulsory. His contact number is [protected], [protected]. I feel so depressed after this. How could a service man can ask for a service fee which isn't compulsory. Please do take immediate action on him.

    Reference : My meter service no [protected].
    The wrong meter reading is a contineous problem I am facing, due to which excess billing is generated. This is frequient issue in my region, I have raised several complaints with TANGEDCO but unfortunately nobody taking the matter seriously, issue still persists.
    The manual reading is always a problem, in today's world there is a smart meters available which government should implement but that is for long time solution.
    The local official in TANGEDCO to solve the meter reading problems.

            During this covid pandemic situation there is a power cut happening in tindivanam at early mornings regularly. Due to which many peoples are experiencing shortness of breath and health problems. So i kindly request goverment should take proper action on it.

              Street light not working since 2 months at sulur ward number 12 - ssv nagar, kalangal road. We have registered a complaint at sulur eb office and chasing for them multiple times but there was no response.

              And not sure why do we pay house tax, eb bills? Do the people working at this organisation ashamed of this - earning money without any service for us? Please consider this high priority and take action at the earliest

                Dear sir, we are living thamaraikulam 1st street, periyathoppu, manali, chennai 68.in our street, planting 2 trees morethan 25 years and nobody in that land they were in somewhere. Now the trees well growth. Since last 2015 cyclone onwards slanting over the eb main line. We were try to conduct them unfortunately not picked. And not responding still now. The branches of the trees towards over some houses, leaves dropped and staying on the main line many times it is dangerous of our electronic appliances, if rain, or wind blow heavily the branches of tree fall into some house and affect by person and buildings. Please take adequate step to remove the tree or cut the main portion of the branches towards the eb line. If the damages cause due to this trees, electricity board is soul responsibility further.                   Due to lockdown most it people are working from home. It’s seriously not acceptable to shutdown during the business hours and business days as it’s affecting our productivity.
                  Since morning 10am till 5pm there is no power. Government should take action on this power shut down and power failures as it’s affecting job of many people working in it.

                    I am a tenant of this house. The owner is taking connection from main line directly and is removing the current meter connection while running a/c. They have 2 a/c units and they have a switch to connect it to the main line. There are 3 tenant house but there are more than 5 meters i. E 5 connections. They have 2 connection for their house itself. They run half of appliances on one connection and rest with other connection. I still pay rs.7 per unit (No slab rates or no separate meter because they have theft connection). Please take action, they run 2 a/c all day, 2 water motors for commercial shops opposite to our house. Total area is 2 grounds. Power theft alone would cost rs.20000 per month.

                        Yesterday power shut down and today also morning itself power has gone and more than a hour still power not resumed.. I m working in banking industry due to power my work is getting affected.. Can you urgently check and resolve the issue shortly.

                          My consumer number[protected]. Iam residing in udumalpet. I had paid an amount of rs.680 in april month as mentioned by eb dept through sms. Now when the reading checker came he had calculated reading for 4months together and imposed bill with heavy surcharge.. After that he minused that april paid amount from the grand total. This is cheating. He is supposed to minus the units first then calculate for rest of the reading. He cannot come for checking is not my fault, if given any option online for payment according to our usage also saved us from paying so much surcharge. Kindly take this matter and do tge needfull

                            The service meter is installed at hotel hill breeze in yelagiri as become defective. It is running continuously without usage, we were reported to jolarpet e. B office by a compliant letter dated on 11/05/2020. Still nobody come here. We are put too much low and hardship if it is not ratified immediately. I request to you attend the matter and change the meter. E. B box no:"[protected]" and to demand the actual procedure amount. Please do it the needful.

                              Current month they charged 200% more amount as eb consumption charges which is abnormal. I never paid this amount in my life t ime.

                                Hi Sir/Madam,
                                There is a incorrect reading and billing for the month of may. The bill for the consumption of 800 units is not correct for the date 16/05/2020. We paid Rs 6960 and thats also incorrect. We paid it because we are cornered when we asked there is no response and we have been restless on this issue by going to the porur EB branch office continuously. Need to calculate the billing again properly and we asked several times to change the meter but no response for that also.

                                  I am living in kavalapatti (Palani taluk) dindigul (Dt) here lot of power problems main problem is very very low voltage also in 3 phases (1phase get 170 volt another phase get just 120 volt and below 100 volts) sometimes get just 100 voltage in my house and area so we face lot of electrical issues and problems tv, grinders, fan gets failure, also power cut is everyday evening 5pm to 8pmthis problem we facing in last 6, 7 years we complaint lot of time in pappampatti eb office, no solutions till now

                                      Dear sir/madam,

                                      My eb consumer number is [protected] & my house is located in selaiyur, chennai.

                                      My reading was noted as 14380 on 31/1/20 for which i have completed payment of rs.650 on 10/2/20 for 340 units consumption. I paid the same rs.650 on 4/4/20 for 340 units using online payment during lockdown as it showed as rs.650 pending for february & march electricity consumption.

                                      Now today they noted reading as 1120 units (Rs.3702) without considering 340 units i have paid during lockdown. I have been charged for 4 months consumption instead of 2 months.

                                      Please reduce my units consumption to 780 units that i'm yet to pay & revise my bill based on this calculation

                                        Today morning service wire's has been burned due to short circuit.
                                        Then i changed wires immediately and inform to eb office and line man also.. They told afternoon will come and see.. Again evening i went and asked but he replied tomorrow morning only will come and see like that..
                                        Without power chikdrens old age persons how could sleep.
