Our meter became faulty in dec 2019 and so the meter reading in jan 2020 was very high (Bill amt rs.4486), though our consumption was very low in december and january.

    Hi,
    Im from pollachi city (12/04/2020), coimbatore. Past couple of days power cut happening in our city. Timing like 11.30pm to 2 am and 4am to 6am. Mostly it happening on night time. We unable to sleep on these days. We dont have ups facility in my home.in news electricity minister told like there is no power cut in tamilnadu. Can you please check in district wise so that you will know the truth. Please take severe action to resolve this problem.

      Hi all

      Am currently now staying in madurai west veli 4th cross street (Paravai).in our area
      Yesterday from 2.30 pm the power cuts and came at 9pm. And again goes at 12.10 am and now the time is 12.50 am. We are here struggling due to 144. Daily the power cut is happening for more than 3 hr. Am requesting the particular department official to review and sort out as soon as possible. Daily 3 hrs the power cut is. Unacceptable without reasons..

          Near by my home the electric post is damaged/corroded/ any time it will be fallen/kindly change this. Through this post about six to seven houses receiving power.

              payment debited but tneb shows transaction failed

              Today i have made transaction through tangedco for the eb consumer no[protected] for the bill amount 720 after completing payment details i have received payment has failed so i tried one more time again i got the same failure but in bank account the amount was debited as 720 as twice (1440) still payment was not yet paid. So kindly do some needful for my double payment refund as soon as possible

                    Today april 5, on this day early morning 12:30am first time current is cut, then 1.10am second time, then 1.40am, then 2.40am, then 3.30am, then 4.20am, then 4.35am-5am. Every time the current cut is up to 10minutes. How we people should sleep when this kind of fun is eb plays. We can't sleep with mosquitoes. So please take action in thiruthuraipoondi thenikulam eb board.

                        TNEB keep mum on the issue of paying the bill for the month of Mar, 20.The entire nation is under lockout till 14.04.20, but the TNEB have not issued any notifications with regard to the payment of bill.The TN Govt.has simply informed the public thro' media that the last date for the payment of bill is 14.04.20.How it is possible?There are lakhs of consumers and some could have paid online.Many donot have the online facility.Think of the crowd on 14th at the bill payment counters.It is impossible to receive all the payments due within a day.TNEB should have thought of the reality of the situation.Some days as Grace period after 14th, are necessary.Moreover, TNEB have not issued any notifications that they have facilitated the payment of bills even during 144 that is inforce till 14.04.20.Consumers are confused about the payment.Whether bill receipt counters are open for the payment of bills?Can the consumers pay the bills without any hassles and they are allowed to go out of their homes to pay the bills?TNEB should issue a statement in this regard immediately to be appreciated.

                          I understand from eb officials there was some problem in the meter, and immediately raised the complaint for that in the 1st week of jan 2020. Ref complaint id - [protected] - but without doing anything they raised bill on me with past payment which was higher in last one year. Again i have raised complaint but no revert and they closed the complaint simply without any solutions. Later they have changed the new meter in the month of feb only, and in next billing they have calculated with old average, but in the month of feb i have installed solar power, again my billing is coming about rs 8400, it shows complete negligence of tneb officials, would request the refund for my excess payment in last bill and correct the current billing.

                              The voltage is 150 v instead of 230 v. Lights and fan flicker all night which is a nuisance. I have called the villupuram eb office but no response, they told they will send an employee to attend the complaint and i have also complained in person. Why is this delay to attend the customer services?
                              We have 10 days baby at home at home with out fan and we are facing very difficult and we dont know what to do. Kindly attend the complaint and

                                X tenant was used the tneb online payment option. Now he vacated and not giving the user id and password. Now iam the new tenant how to change the user id and password of online bill payment. If iam clicking the forgot password and user name is going to the old email which was created previously.
