On 13/03/2020 I paid an online payment for the exam TANGEDCO assistant engineer post, amount was debited from my account, but the status of the payment for exam is showed as not received.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I had done online payment for Bill due date of 18/12/19 of Rupes 920/- with late fine on 21st Dec 2019 of rupees 1136.48 but even though i got dis-connected the power supply. After checking with department, they informed this amount was not credited in EB portal, hence pay the money with fine again.

    please find attached the EB payment receipts one with old payment and other one till March payment.

    Since my online payment was not received by your department, i requested ICICI bank to refund the amount but they are expecting email from from TNEB they didn't receive any amount of rupees 1136.48 from consumer.

    Hope you understand my issue do the needful.

      We have received bill on 5 th march 2020. We went to eb office kalliluppam branch, ambattur chennai for paying bill on 10 th march 2020.
      Without giving proper reason, they asked to come next week without respect. Is this the way to respond public? If we receive any fine on paying bill next week, we are not responsible. Please take the proper department action to respond the public. For your reference am attaching our eb card.

        We are facing frequent unnecessary power cuts during day and night time. Day time we can manage somewhat, but how come during night time. There are aged person and new born baby at our home who are suffering a lot without proper sleep. Govt says that we have excess power in our state, then why these power cuts are happening. I'm writing this post during power cut in the midnight. There are two different distribution points in our area. The area which is nearby (Not more than 300mtrs) will not have such power cuts. We are also paying the same amount of bill amount like them for which we have utilised. Then why this partiality is shown. If somebody from the concern authority takes necessary action we will be very thankful.

          This is n. Dayanandan (Consumer id: [protected]) from adambakkam. I am a senior citizen who is living with my wife in f2, kalpatharu flats, vellalar street, adambakkam. I would like to bring to your kind attention regarding harassment i’ve been facing due to incorrect advance (Asd) amount generated online for rs.12, 306. I have been very prompt in paying my eb bills online till date much before the due date.

          I have raised a complaint to tneb - south circle on multiple forums with no resolution starting from dec 27, 2019. On top of it, i have been forced to pay the incorrect pending amount of rs. 13, 137 (Incorrect advance : rs.12, 306 + monthly charges rs. 710) which was confirmed by ae: mr. Damodaran that it would be reversed shortly after making the complete payment.

          Chronology of events below:

          In dec 2019 a bill amount of rs.12855 (Advance: rs.12306 + monthly charges: rs.740) was generated online for my connection. I was surprised to see such a big amount and wanted more details regarding this. I raised a complaint online (Complaint id : [protected]) on dec 27, 2019, with no resolution i directly went to the eb office at adamabakkam on jan 5th to understand the details of the amount. However, they wanted time to investigate and requested me to pay the monthly charges of rs.740 on the same day and i had settled the monthly bill. Please note that i did not receive any written/mail explanation or intimation from the eb office so far regarding this.

          On feb 7th, i received a call from the eb office stating that i have to immediately pay the due amount of rs.12306 or my line would be disconnected. Within few minutes of the call, eb technician (Mr. Elango) had come home and disconnected the line accusing me for not paying bills at 10am. I went to the eb office and met the staff from accounts department. They verified my bill details and confirmed that an incorrect advance amount was charged in june 2015 and confirmed that i need not pay the amount and the issue would be resolved. I have submitted the attached written complaint on the same day. I was handed over the fuse carrier to restore power in my house, as technicians were busy and were not available.

          On march 3rd, i went to the eb office to make the payment for monthly charges of rs.710, however, they suggested i wait till march 9th as they had forwarded the complaint to tneb head office and there is a possibility of the issue getting resolved.

          On march 9th, i was forced to pay the monthly charges and incorrect advance by mr. Damodaran confirming that the amount would be reversed shortly.

          I want you to bring to your attention that for no fault of mine, i have been constantly facing harassment in multiple forms including, making wrongful demands of payment with no details or explanation and disconnecting power supply to my home without any notice or intimation and embarrassment of being accused for non-payment of dues in public before other flat owners.
          I hereby appeal to you as the competent authority, to look in to this issue to avoid any future harassment or embarrassment to me and my family.

            I am from palur near samayapuram. Here we are living for 6 months... Here we are facing unnecessary power cut with irrespective of time... Sometimes 2-3 hours of power cut will occur... We terribly facing many problems regarding this unnecessary power cut... And voltage variation... It will cause major damage... Please make sure that it could not happen again...

              Regarding this power theft i sumbitted many compliants by mail but no one had noticed about it.

              They are selling electricity at 15 inr per unit and its taking place around 4 years

              The eb offical current reading man also known about this theft but he also didn't give compliant to flying squad because they are supporting to them.

              That wire is crossing above the street and it may make accident.

              That opposite person who are getting current illegally has aircondions and thats very big house

              The poor people's themself obeying our eb rules and paying proper bills in legal way then why this kind of peoples doing this kind theft and stealing our government property .

              Its very very offens of the rule

              Therefore i am very kind request with to the concern department to take seiver action ASAP.

              I hope this time this action will be taken soon .

              I dont like to disclose my contact its because i am living in this same area with family.

              Above detials are real and i promised there is no lie.

              Really thank you for your action but it was no use

              When the team came for ride then they didn't unplug the fuse carrier instead of that they just given warning only.

              But now agian that lady started to sell power to opposite house and saying whatever whoever gives complaint on me it will be no use because i am having such a support in this area so no one can do anything to me.

              Because that lady saying i am giving reading man 500 inr as bribe whenever he pass by my house as well as for govduvancheery department jai

              Now that lady is laughing too much and walking with arrogant saying non of the officer can do anything because all of eb officers are in my hand and i am paying bribe to them

              Sir i want to ask you one question that if give bribe then illegal thing will become legel thing?

              Those official team who had gone for ride then got fear for that lady and returned with out taking any action simply they gone and ran away

              Sir agian i am telling you that that wire is crossing on the street and it will surely make accident.

              Even i would like to tell you that everyone must obey the government rules

              Since this kind of the officer leaving this kind of thief then why the government announces the punishments according to the theft really its looks like waste punishment that culprit saying i am having such a support in eb office so whoever comes before they could come the officers will alert me and save me

                  pruning/trimming of tree branches

                  There is a tree (Pungai maram) outside our compound, near the main entrance. This tree has been there even before we started construction of our building. Some of the tree branches are falling over the eb lines going over our side, and are also touching the lines. Sometime back when eb people were on a pruning drive, they cut some branches so that the eb lines were freed. But the tree branches/leaves grow at a faster rate and now it poses...

I didn't receive any confirmation message that my payment was successful and when i tracked the payment status, it was pending and payment not received from my application no :A0482746.                               We are facing low voltage problem from[protected] till now in the above mentioned HTSC number. We got incoming voltage below 8000 only instead of 11000 volt frequently in daytime. So that we are losing huge production loss. Kindly arrange to rectify the above problem.
                              Above the information already submitted on 31.01.2020 to AE and ADE and[protected] submitted on AE, ADE, AD and SE. But still problem not solved. Kindly arrange necessary actions.

                                Dear respective tneb officials,
                                Far many days the ac voltage is reading beyond 260v ac. This leads to damage most of our valuable consumable electric/electronic durable many times in a row.

                                Complained to respective field engineers but there is no action taken so far.
                                Therefore wanted to escalate to next level, please help and do the needful support to control ac distribution at desired range (230v) around our...

                                Dear sir, i have applied for tneb exam for ae post and i proceeded with the online payment of rs.1180 through axis bank debit card today (20.02.2020). I didn't receive any confirmation message that my payment was successful and when i tracked the payment status, it was pending and payment not received from my application no :a0504831please solve the problem.

                                  இராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டம் - கிழக்கரை தாலுகா- -ஏர்வாடி ஊராட்சிக்கு உட்பட 1 மற்றும் 2 வது வார்டு பகுதியில் உள்ள கீழ்க்கானூம் 4 மின்கம்பங்கள் முற்றிலும் சேதமடைந்து என்நேரத்திலும் முறிந்து விழுந்து உயிர் பழி வாங்கும் நிலையில் உள்ளது .

                                  1. ஏர்வாடி நடுத்தெரு (பாட்ஷா லெவ்வைத்தெரு) -R.துல்கருனை பாட்சா அவர்களின் வீட்டின் எதிர்புறம் மற்றும் VVAH.அகமது இபுரஹிம் (Door No:2/70) அவர்களின் வீட்டிற்கு அருகில் உள்ளது .

                                  2. ஏர்வாடி நடுத்தெரு பங்களோவிற்கு எதிர் சந்தில் மர்ஹூம் முஹம்மது யுனூஸ் ( Door No.1/138 ) மற்றும் ஹக்கீம் அவர்களின் வீட்டிற்கு எதிரில் உள்ள மின் கம்பம் .

                                  4.ஏர்வாடி ரதம் சுற்றும் வீதி கண்ணன் கோயிலுக்கு பின் பகுதியிலும் MM ஹமீது அவர்களின் மளிகைக் கடைக்கு எதிரில் உள்ள மின் கம்பம் .

                                  இது குறித்து TNEB உத்திரகோசமங்கை உதவி பொறியாளர் கவனத்திற்கு சமூக ஆர்வலர்களால் கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டுள்ளது ..

                                  இதே நிலை தொடர்ந்தால் சேதமடைந்த 4 மின் கம்பங்கள் முறிந்து பல உயிர்பழி ஏற்பட வாய்ப்புள்ளது ..
