I have tried twice to pay tneb bill payment for current consumption for Rs. 445/- towards consumer no. [protected] under yono SBI on 27/01/2020. One time the payment failed and another time the payment is pending. Both times the amount debited from my account. Please verify the same and arrange to send the receipt for payment and another one amount may be recredit to my account.

    I am muthukumar, i am staying in hosur, navadhi -635110. Consumption for the month of 1/2020 bill is 2770rupess, which is too high compare to my previous bills, i never ever got this much of amount for my house. So i given the complaint to hosur ae in the tneb office. He didnt take any action, so i raised the complaint in online, i got the reply ae phone number, i spoke to him, but still he didnt take any action regarding.

    I hope that atleast this complaint will solve my problem.

      Tneb overcharged ₹2078 for 430 units (4 months) in jan2020.
      Nov2019 they didn't come to take reading but they marked as door lock.
      Our eb meter is in outside of our home only, even we didn't have door for our eb meter. So we missed to pay eb bill on nov2019 ₹290.
      Again we went to local eb office on 24 dec 19 and paid fine ₹150. At the time they asked us to pay the nov 2019 due amount in jan2020 month bill.
      Eb consumer no :[protected].
      We enquired with eb office no one responded properly. Please give solution for our problem.
      We worried lot, for domestic use they are charging this much. We paid more than ₹13000 for past 1.5 years even normal home domestic use.
      I have attached eb statement below:

      In sep2019 meter reading 1310 and used units 220
      In nov2019 meter reading 1310 and used units 220 (They didn't come but marked as door lock and they are not account with used units with total unit)
      In jan2020 meter reading 1740 and used units 430 (Actual used units 210 only)
      They didn't calculate properly for last 4 months.
      Kindly i request you to take necessary action to solve this problem and let us know the solution.

          Been visiting t. Nagar north tneb office every alternative day to know the status and enquirer about when will be bill generation. Hope delay from tneb should not consumer should suffer and asked to pay bill at one short for 4 months together.

            Hi,
            I have an account with tneb portal since 2011 and have been paying my bills online.
            I haven't been able to login since monday (January 13, 2020) and when i try to reset, it says that my login is invalid.
            I tried to login from multiple devices and the problem still persists. I have cleared my cache also and tried, but to no luck.
            I have got to pay my eb this month and i do not have the reading entered in the card also as i was out when the eb people visited our place.
            I have multiple consumer numbers added to my login and all the bills get paid online every time.
            Looking forward to a solution to revive my account at the earliest so i will be able to pay my bills.

              I live in gopalapuram. When they took meter reading last month, the amount was shown as zero. When contacted the officials told me that the meter is not running and i was asked to pay rs.5777.00 being the average amount. This was the case when we were away for 15 days from the house due to the death of my brother in law. I had given a complaint to then on 12th december even before making the complaint but no action was taken so far.

              When i approached them today, they are talking some filthy language and say that only after paying an amount of rs.2950/- they will take meter from stock and replace it. It is such a sorry state of affairs. Should we pay for the meter. If that being the case, they should have informed us earlier. Whether we can buy the meter outside. Kindly let us have a resolution for this.

                We are from 17/1, second narayan street, sevenwells, chennai-1. We filed a complain in eb office for the past 15 days, that our two phases are not working. When some people visited from eb they said tht we need to digg the ground and check the complain, more than 15 days gone but none have taken action to solve this. So kindly take action as soon as possible.

But none of the replies we got from them. We already informed to local concern officers as well as even post men too. But no one has taken the proper action and still does not fixed the issue.                             As this the 3rd time i'm facing eb bill not taken by the eb person consecutively. And i feel very dipressed because we are paying our eb bills without due till date over 45 years.
                            But for the past 6 months eb bill reader is not coming property. Due to this we are missing to pay our eb bills. Kindly do take action and advise the eb person not to repeat again in future.

After i will took the reading and approach to rs he his not response and respect to others, kindly take action to concern person.

                              I am disabled person, he will not getting the respect. I approach to ae also, he also not response.

                              Hello sir, i am residing at SRB nagar kolathur chennai. My EB office is Rajaji Nagar, Villivakkam.

                              In this connection meter reading people not cam until now. My reading consumption date is 26 Dec 2019. I was called to AE he will confirm with reading will taking @ monday(6th jan 2020). But till now no one came to take the reading. After i went today eb office, RS saud today take the reading and we will feed. After i will took the reading and approach to RS he his not response and respect to others, kindly take action to concern person.

                              Kindly take action to concern department.
                              Street Lights in the lane front of EB cash counter office is not functioning since LED installation. This is the cross street used by people to walk to Guindy Station and Bus stop.
                              Please delete my mobile number [protected] from EB service connection no [protected] as i have shifted my residence to other place. I am the resident of Srirangam. Please delete the above mentioned mobile number from sc no.
                              I am paid reqularly EB charges. WHY DUE ARREARS 23100A-Cc - ARREARS .

                                I had got bill of a shock when i was told i got 3000 rs of eb bill which i never used i have bill history of previously paid bill which was around 750 in average i used to pay when i went to pay the bill in office they gave explainations one yes u have consumed my ques is how is it possible all of sudden is it a joke? Speaking honestly meter is good i dont have washing machine i do have fridge but i checked it it was all or normal and in office i had given complaint they came very same day and they checked he said meter is fine but one thing is that who ever had come for reading he has not done the reading properly in the month of aug which i paid very less bill of 164rs and after that all of sudden in in november i was told ur bills is 3000rs is that my mistake? And after that to my surprise i was again told to pay the bill of 2100 in the jan month of 2020 who ever comes for reading has to work properly i had just paid the money which i never used i need clarity on this for what ever the problem i had faced earlier my consumer number is [protected] it is in my owner name ganesan

                                True . TNEB is one of the most ad-hoc whimsical state electricity board . They do not even give meter readings every month. They charge as per their whims and fancies . And they charge relatively better off for all the subsidies they give the poor. So poor do not complaint, the very well off do not complain and those who complain TNEB just does not care. The worst electricity board.

The active wire cable of post hang in hazardous situation with damaged holder that it would cause serious injury or life loss to people and livestock if it get chop down with rough weather. Please take rectification action without delay from Authority....

                                  I never got our EB connection disconnected once for any reason till now for past 25years.
                                  But while I try to login TNEB portal, error shows - "Service Connection not live".

                                  For past 4months our EB meter readings was incorrect/faulty and it was informed to concern local EB dept. but till now nothing happened/neither they pay visit once to our home to have look on it.

                                  I have attached proof copy of meter misreadings for your kind consideration.

                                  I kindly request you to carry out a test on the meter at my home and solve this faulty meter issue asap...
                                  Also I request you to find out "why our service connection is not live" and advice me what to do further to get registered in TNEB Portal which is mandatory for payment related things.

                                    We are residents of ragini apartments, raghava nagar. We are facing voltage fluctuation issue from 30th dec. We have tried calling the eb and after many calls, the person came and checked and said that he will come back next day but did not come. Our appliances are not working properly. This is a flat... We are unable to operate motor or lift.. The voltage fluctuation is too high sometimes. Recently we have fixed the transformer in our flat.. Kindly request you to please take necessary action

                                    I am from Sithurajapuram in Sivakasi In my area voltage is very low. I brought 3 phase power supply in my house newly. I couldn't run water motor, bridge and fan. Please take immediate action and save our electrical products from damage. my EB No :[protected].

                                      I have paid the eb bill payment of rs.800/- on 29.12.19 through internet banking and the reference number is hd[protected]. But the payment was not updated from ur side and today in eb office they called me and asked me to pay the bill with the penalty amount of rs.106 ie total bill 906. We paid the cash amount with penalty and came back. Why my payment was not updated properly. Kindly rectify the problem. If you received the payment make it as an advance payment with that penalty amount of rs.106 too..
