We are residing in k. Chettipalayam, tiruppur -641608. And always daily there is minimum of 2 hour power cut in our area.

During night time also there is powercuts.
Apart fro these shut down is also there for a day in month.

Even today there is already 7 hours of power cut from morning.
Please provide remarks on why there is so much of powercuts in this area.

    I'm residing at 15/2 New byepass road, Mannargudi.
    My service no. [protected]

    I'm a tenant staying at the above address since August 2019. Last month our EB meter was repair. So, they have changed the new one. Hence, they couldn't calculate the meter reading.

    Now they have decided to put random unit of 850 amounting to Rs 4365/- They are saying it is the average of hightest two units in last one year. But I get into this house on August 2019 only.

    So, how am I responsible for this much higher charge. I'm not using air- conditioner. I am a single person staying in that house.

    Kindly help me in this issue

      I have repeatedly complained about the non - functioning of the meter box over the past 18 months. I had even sent letters to the chairman, consumer grievance redressal forum and assistant engineer at besant nagar on 27/9/2018. At the age of 84, i am being made to take repeated trips to the electricity office at besant nagar and nothing is being done except that i am being asked to pay an average cost of rs. 1900 - rs. 2000. I request the concerned authorities to address the issue and rectify it. My consumer number is[protected]

        Sir now a days in karuppayurani area which is located in madurai district, the current is often shut downing. Today @ 4:15 current is gone till now current is not came. Here often they shut downing the current sir.in karuppayurani many school childrens are studying their studies are distrubing and pepoles are suffering lot because of often shut downing the electricity. So kindly take immediate action for this prblm sir.

          Dear sir/mam,
          Meter box is working after getting the fusecarrirer also. And got the triple the times amount of current consumption charges than the previous 2months. Checked for anyother connections mixed within this meter box also. And meter box is jumping the voltages over the night. So kindly come and check the meter box and kindly do the needful.

            I gave application on 09/09/2019 to give tariff-6 connection for my new house building purpose at pochampalli eb office, but till now they did't give the connection, i many time went met ae & staffs, they were telling reason for that we have no enough employs, please help to give me connection

              There is loose connection in ed post to our usage. We call ed and give the complain they come and resolved. After a week the problem is started. I need a complete resolution for this problem. Because there no technical problem in the connection. It just a not proper connection in ed line. Otherwise they made loose the connection while climb the post probably by mistake. But this problem is routine one.. So please conclude this problem as soon as possible you can..

              I am trying to set online registration for paying eb bill for service number [protected]. however it gives error as Service connection not live!
              We have paid all the pending bills few days back. Please could you resolve the error so that i can pay the future bills online as I am staying out of station. Attached the details.
              I tried logging into TNEB website and provided my login credentials. However, i am getting the error "bad credentials/ Account not activated? " error.
              Please note that I have been logging into the link using the same credentials for several months. I am now suddenly getting this. Please help urgently to resolve.

                My home meter was not working since 1year, once in 2 month EB person came to my home and noted the reading(without running) put averagely 200 to250 units consumed.Based on that person entry bill is coming min 170 to 500 INR.How without running meter EB fees was generated.Please change the meter immediatly otherwise repair the existing meter.Dont allow this as for next bill month upto.Immediate action required.

                  There is a very damaged lamp post in our street, There are many people in the street walking around and living including the children, we request to you that kindly change lamp post asap to save living people of this area, as of now very dangerous condition.                   I am residing at pappakudi my eb account no is[protected] on my complaint regarding meter struck the department have made a shortfall recovery in my account but wrongly a cc arrear charges of rs.1700 have been billed 0n october month. When i called the concerned person they did not replied me properly. I want detailed explain for cc arrear for my eb service.

                    I am santhana krishnan customer no[protected] from plot no 224, sakthivel nagar ii main road, near gurukulam play school. Puzhal chn 66.
                    The current poster cable wire in road side came very low and likely to touch my home main gate by a inch. Seems it high risk. Request to send the eb person to come and correct poster and tight it to avoid risk.

                    Thanks team for the followup and the issues was fixed. EB team visited our home and they place new poster near to home and fixed the wiring issue we requested in our complaint. Really Appreciate the EB team and the consumer team for supporting on the same.

                    Thanks a Lot team for your immediate action. The the issue got solved, EB team came and fixed the issues today. Really Appreciate the fast turnaround and fixing the issue.

                      Made multiple complaints over the slanting transformer in 7th street ananthagiri to kodaikanal eb office over the course of 2 months. Due to heavy rainfall yesterday the transformer has slanted even further. When we asked je to take steps immediately, he spoke rudely as though it was our fault. If the transformer falls, it would fall over our house. I don't understand why i have to take such attitude, such arrogance. If anything happens to my house or people, it all your fault. They said they will get it done by today or tomorrow. Since they have never once kept their word, i have zero trust. Expecting urgent attention and action to be taken in this regard.

                                  My father is an octageneranian living in ramanathapuram coimbatore past two days fuse is gone and in spite of complaint no one is coming all are celebrating diwali i think emergency services should work what if fire broke will people still not work. The answer given was u have an inverter an inverter can last only for 8 hours very pitiable situation of tneb on saturday i called at 9 30 people came at around 2 pm is this good service i was told we know we are coming also i do not want to give names they said there is a short circuit call electrician when electrician fixed fuse gone at post and i was told people gone for celebrating diwali nobody available two days no one has come can't we as public think that with tax payers money and no prompt service tneb could be privatised i strongly feel so our diwali would not have been in darkness

                                    We are from karaikudi (630003) ponnagar area. Sakkotai (Pudhuvayal) eb where we pay our electricity bil. The worst low power we received for several years.

                                    No one responsible in this eb office,
                                    We seriously bring to our cm regarding this issue. Even today deepawali[protected] from afternoon until now the power cut is continuing..

                                    We are very badly affected in this region becoz of this. Please take serious action against this issue.
