I received by email tneb bill dated[protected] lfor the month of september 2019 for inr 125 on october 1, 2019.

When i went to pay the bill, i, a senior citizen and having no other income, was shocked, dismayed and totally taken aback when i saw a total demand against this bill, for a sum of inr 70, 095. This includes a demand of rs. 68, 222 with a description “average shortfall” without any precedence or warning or notification in all these ten years or more of service.

This part of tamil nadu we have all been hit by drought and serious shortage of water since a long period owing to natural force majeur calamity of failed rainfall

For a very extended period, our bore well has dried up and the motor was not operable at all and there has been no consumption of electricity for farm activities. We are all eagerly waiting for rains, so that ground water would get recharged and we will be able to cultivate our farm and use the motor and earn our livelihood.

As it is we are under great loss and tneb is adding fuel to fire and our woes. Can the government withdraw all such unfair claims so that government can help us from mental tension and sleepless nights.

    Dear sir or madam from last 3 days i am facing voltage dropping, low voltage problem again. I can't use any electronic appliances kindly request to refer my problem and take some action
    The voltage is 140 v instead of 230 v. Lights and fan flicker all night which is a nuisance. I have called the kumarpuram eb office service man he told me the problem is transformer complaint but no response,. I have also complained in person. Why is this delay to attend the customer services? Kindly do the needful. A and change the transformer.

      Dear sir,

      Could you pls activate this service number[protected]. I'm unable to login using my user name and password as i got the below message from tneb.


      Another individual has requested to register against the service number[protected]since you did not deactivate for the earlier request, your account has been deactivated

      Our earlier tenant was trying to do something and he is not living in our house anymore. Kindly help me to resolve this issue and let me know how to login again using our user name and password so that we can pay our future bills.

        Without meter reader taking meter reading despite i was in my home, he has uploaded my last bill amount for rs 10096, for 1760 units.. This time the units consumed is very less. The meter reader's device was faulty so the meter reader did not come to my house or take any reading. This is really great injustice to the consumer charging them unnecessarily with huge payment. I want the reading to be taken and correctly billed.

          Dear sir / madam,

          Service disconnected:[protected]

          This is sethu ramasubramanian owner of the house is being charged rs 32, 880 where by i am keeping this house in vaccant position from the day it is constructed. I have been informed that the service is disconnected and i file a complaint on 20 aug 2019 with the pictures taken that my meter reading and the current meter reading says that 6.3 units. From tneb in koovalam agree and told me that there is some mistake happen and they will take a look and finally they said that it is in system and i need to formal complaint.
          I waited for so long and now i am filing the complaint.

          The amount is extremely high and i definitely need your help to consider my complaint.

          Please help to do the needful and advice me on next step to get back my electrical connection at the earliest

Necessary complaints were lodged accordingly with asst engineer (E&m), office of eb, eriyodu and personal liaison were made with the eb office staff.             Tirunelveli (Samadhanapuram) eb has the most irresponsible employees who didn't even care about the people. The entire night we people suffered a lot without electricity (Very low voltage). We tried to contact eb service but they didn't pick the call. Though they answer us they promised that they will come in 5 minutes and check out the fault, they didn't do it. Even children and elderly people suffered due to these irresponsible government servants. Government should take action towards these fellows

              Daily there will be half an hour or one hour of power cut during night time. As electricity is more necessary in our day to day life.. This daily power cut is very worste with the nanganallur eb department. We cant able to sleep at night without electricity supply... Dont k ow what eb department is doing.. If it goes in loss then all the employees and minister should resign instead of play with power supply at night. Very worste service in...

                I have applied the tariff changes from commercial to residential after finished by residential construction on 05-sep-2019 and close the reading with commercial. Due date of this month reading not changed as commercial take the reading used consumed unit is 40 but bill for rs 2643.
                Kindly advice who is concern person for updating in system regarding this in tneb.

                  Before few a line man came and corrected the connection of my house from the electricity pole but yesterday he came to correct the line of school near to my house and again he disconnected my house line from the electricity pole. Their is no electricity in my house from yesterday and my children are studying in college and their exams are near and they are not able to study. Please sir solve this problem as soon as possible. I have call him lots of time but he is not coming.

                  We are staying in Vanila apartments in Kazhipattur near Padur. We are facing power cut issues everyday especially during night time. People with small kids are suffering a lot. For school and office goers it will be difficult to stay all-night without sleeping in between mosquitoes.

                      Till my last bill which was generated and paid in july 2019, i was able to pay it online. But now when i opening the site using my user id & password there is no details are records found in the site. I cannot even see my bill payment history in my online account. But, only i can view the payment receipt.

                      Due to this i am not able to pay my eb bill online. Hence, rectify the problem and activate my service no.[protected].

                        Hi,

                        Till my last bill which was generated and paid in july 2019, i was able to pay it online. But now tneb site says that my consumer number is invalid. My consumer number is [protected].

                        I cannot even see my bill payment history in my online account.

                        Please activate my service number on tneb online site so that i can pay my bills on time....

                        Why we need to pay that extra amount Rs.3727?
                        We've raised complaint already regarding meter not working to TNEB by June - 2019.
                        To online and Kodaikanala EB office directly by written.
                        But there is no action taken still against that.
                        Now they've charged this extra amount apart from our bill amount.
                        Please make sure the bill amount to be paid was Rs.5778.
                        We've only 10 days left to pay the bill amount.
                        Kindly do the needful to change the meter also.

                          Respected sir, i am residing at no.4/131, east st, kilakarai, ramanathapuram (Dist), please note that, the recently erected high voltage electric cable line passing our home (Near fathima estate) is dangerously very closed to our home and easily touchable by children from our balcony and window, we are always fearing and locked those windows and doors to preventing for access by children. Even the cables not covered by any protected insulation to avoid risk, we are very much worried about our safety due to this. We can not able do the house maintenance work due to high risk of touching the wire passed high voltage. As a consumer, i sincerely request tneb authority to take immediate steps to straighten the high voltage power line dangerously touching our home and request you to cover the wire with insulation as per safety and standard to the regulation. Thanks

                              This is the complaint regarding the bill for meter service no[protected]
                              In oct 2017, net meter was installed on this service. Over 6 billing periods, the readings were taken and it considered the net metering. For the last 4 readings, they are not listening when we say that it is a solar net meter. We are paying more than rs 5000 every month and every time i request that the reading be verified, it is ignored. How can i get this sorted out?

                                With due respect i am tax payer citizen of india. I want to know why there are more power in kottakuppam area especially in night time. I had seen so many times that there is no rain or wind and still there is power cuts. I think there is fishy in this issue. I am not sure about the allegations which i making. If there is any other reason rather than that please let me know.
