Dear sir,
I am anbu i have a shop in 5/40pothur main road, v. P. R. Nagar redhills. Chennai-52. My eb card number is[protected]. I have started the shop 07/07/19 before that i have noted my eb reading it is in 987.6 date of 26/06/19 when i got the key. Few days before i got the eb card they have mention 360 units. That time reading is 1050 date of 20/07/19. Yesterday i have turn to your eb office pay my eb bill payment suddenly they said 3190/- my payment. I said last month only i came why should i pay this amount. Also i spoke to ae mr srinivasan he told me we will send the person to your officehe will solve my problem. After 30 minutes your line man parthiban came and he said we can collect payment as per consumer request minimum charge of 50 units for similer months. For the past few months he wil collect 50 units amount. Because he will very close with earlier shop tenant because he is not able to view meter box. Is there any rules without see the meter we can charge minimum units. If the rules is there i can also use this opportunity. Suddenly he force to increase this amount to me. And also he distroy my card what they writtened. I am asking why you are distroy my card. He said you are not suppose to ask me if you want you can do anything i dont bather also i will manage everything.. And also speak very local tamil language very harsh and speak singular words. This the way government servant speak to the consumer or public.. Are you engrage this kind of employee. He have a rights to distroy the consumer bill. Is there any concession for eb employee and his relatives adjust the reading meter. For the past several months they are collecting only 50 units when his friend running this office. Suddenly 50 units jump in 360 units. This is a very sirios message you have to punish this kind of employee in front of who gave a complaint. Otherwise they will always continue to speak public as an land lord. He is a a public servant. He is not a collecter of redhills areas. Solve ths problem as soon as possible so kindly take severe action otherwise they will spoil other genuine emplyees names and total department. Today i have logged in the account for payment and it was coming as "access denied". I could not able to do payment both online as well as through mobile app. Kindly resolve the issue for early payment

        From our rent out house in nolambur chennai-37, tenant left in jun-18.

        Now locked, no one living. I'm getting huge eb bill for more than a year & thought it was a meter problem and complained to nolambur ss, and they confirmed the meter is ok.

        So it seems that some one responsible for recording the meter reading in tneb forged reading, for many years

        Many times complained in person and online. Even they come and checked locked house. But there is no action from their side. For all our online complaint we get only reply meter will inspect and report. They don't need to check the meter again and again, they have esquire inside tneb

          We live in saras villas, padur (Near kelambakkam). The voltage has been very low and we are not able to use any appliances. Even the tv is getting switched off due to low voltage. The heat has been so intense and most of the nights we are not able to sleep. I asked the eb people and they say a new transformer has to be installed but when i ask when will it be done they have no answer. Please help in this regard. There are many families with children living in this community.

            Hi sir,

            I am staying in 14, porchezian street, ram nagar, ullagaram, nangainallur.
            Our house owner named subhashini wife of charles. We have been a tenant in their house for a period of 8 months. They have 3 houses let for rent. Its a three floor individual house. We have one main meter and 2 sub meter. But 3 rd floor does bot have eb sub meter. But a boy of age 16 was residing in the house. The owner lady asking us to pay rs.7 pee unit. So they deliberately forcing us to pay. But person residing in ground fooor is not much cared about this high rent.. They even agreed to pay the eb bill. For 100 unit they pay rs.700. Its a criminal act. Please take necesaary action.

              Address: No. 146 , gst road, urapakkam, near by city union bank ( infront of sivan kovil kulam), 60321.

              In my area, electric wire is falling down due to tree by wind, now problem solved by eb office, but again it maybe fall down due to that tree climb by wind. My kind request, to cut the half of the tree to prevent falling down of electric wire, and because publics are crossing this area. Safety is always first. Please take immediate action, our area eb peoples are not taking tha action.

                We are residing in the following address in Chennai.
                G3 Makizham Enclave, 7 Engineers Avenue, Raghava Nagar 5th Street,
                Moovarasampet, Chennai – 91.
                The TNEB Consumer Number to this flat is[protected].
                We have come to UK on 14/04/2019 and will be staying until 24/09/2019. There is no body in the house and therefore no use age of current consumption. The CC charges up to May 2019 was paid.
                The meter reading on 06 May was 10180. Now the meter reading is10213.
                But the reading was noted incorrectly as 11200 instead of 10200.
                Therefore, the consumed unit is noted as 1020 and the total bill amount is calculated as Rs 5212/-.
                . So, I request you to do the needful to waive the current charges as it is below 100 units. Please upload necessary corrections in the website.

                  Please clarify and change the starting reading for this month, sand again new bill then i will pay bill

                    I am a resident of avvai nagar, selaiyur, tambaram east. For months together, we have very bad power fluctuation and voltage drops here. When my electrician checked in the afternoon he said it was 160 volts only. Our ac is not working at that voltage. Hence he advised to put a double boost stabilizer, which he said will work even upto 140 volts (Costs around rs.4000). I did that. Even after that during nights, the double boost doesn't work after 8.30 or 9.00 pm (It seems voltage drops even below 140 volts!). Already my ac outdoor motor get damaged and got replaced with new one (It is around rs 3000). Could you please take immediate action on putting new step up transformer in my area to cope up the voltage fluctuation problem. This is very critical one and do some needful on priority before other equipment get damaged

                        You send an sms at 2:01 am saying

                        Power supply in your area will be interrupted on[protected] from 01:59 to 02:59 due to feeder failure. Inconvenience regretted. Govt. Of tamil nadu

                        Then at 3:31 am

                        Power supply in your area will be interrupted on[protected] from 03:27 to 05:27 due to feeder failure. Inconvenience regretted. Govt. Of tamil nadu

                        However neither the power returned at 5:27 am and neither any other sms.

                        Now it's 7:49 am.

                        Either inform correctly or dont. Don't do things half-baked. It's more painful.

                        When will the power come? No water, no sufficient rain, hot weather and now no power. Chennai is going from bad to worse.

                          Today 30jul19 @ 1:30 am the power supply got cut at velachery and till now (5am) not yet restored. Tried various number of tneb to compliant but either number is busy or not reachable. Children's, older people and patience are really suffering and no response from eb department. Ae number also not reachable. When an bill is not paid on time late fee and service charge is being collected, similarly, when they are not able to resume the service with in a hours time, compensation to be provided. Also sms service to be activated regarding the issue to the people to make them aware of the issue and tentative time of power supply resume.

                            I am trying to pay eb bill through online payment with a rupay card. But there is no options for payment through rupay card. Also banks are issuing only rupay card to account holders throughout india. At this point it is very important that you update your server at the earliest as you are govt. Entity. Since many people depend on online payment and the rupay cards are being issued through out india, it would be highly appreciated if you act fast regarding this. Even if customers are ready to pay, they are unable to pay due to this technical glitch. Please do the needful at the earliest.

                                Hi, this is balaraman from balamurugan nagar, alapakkam, porur, which was in the control of tneb porur garden office, yesterday around power supply was stopped at 10.30pm (28/07/19) and today 12.30am (29/07/2019) i have logged an complaint with your 1912 contact no and my complaint ref no is 59 dt:29/07/2019, and also called with some of the number who is working with your organisation [protected], 1st of all he is not responding properly in the same mobile call he is rasing a question against me that, 1. Why you are calling me in this time, 2. What are you doing at the time of power shut down (10.30pm). And suddenly cutter the call, again i have tried slots of time he didn't taking the call. I am really disappointed and got irritated at the time speaking with him. I am paying my hard earned money to you eb for using your services, if i cannot able to get the proper service from your end i have a rights to ask the reason for the power shut down, and you are the answerable, and it's your duty to response to me, that's why your organisation is paying salary to them from our hard earnings. This is seriously undigestable and not acceptable. I am very very disappointed on your people mr. Xxxxx (Cell no:[protected]) at the way of handling me.

                                This message was sending/sharing in the hope of your organisation to take at least any enquiry for this incident. If really you have any response on the public, at least enquiry him.

                                  This is to report frequent powercuts at my residence, i am ok with random powercuts, but i am not ok when the power cuts happen at nights, it's hard to explain how i struggle with my kids who has trouble in sleeping because of these power cuts at midnight's and the worst fact is the power is not returned in 1 hour or shorter time, it takes 4 to 5 hours, and it's happening daily, not to mention even in day the power cut is permanent, why i had to live this life like this even paying taxes properly,

                                    I am manikandan, residing at no. 83a nethaji nagar 4th street, tondiarpet, chennai 81. The above address is residing place and current supply is not working properly, suddenly the current has gone and we call it to local eb office with the number [protected] and they would come and screw the line and working, but everyday they are doing the same thing instead the wants to come for a conclusion or permanent solution, i have deeply aggrieved by the acts of the local eb office and they doesn’t care about the consumer values and importance of current useable. Therefore this complaint may take as a severe caution to those employees and line manager including ae for the negligence of service and responsibility

                                      On connection no.[protected] in corporation school road, valluvar kottam, (Transformer in our own flats), there is violent voltage fluctuation in every evenings & during every night for the past 15+ days. I even informed our a. E. Mahslingapuram mr. Marimuthu ([protected]) about 10 days ago. He promised of immediate action but no action has been taken. We are worried that this violent voltage fluctuation would damage our equipment|s.

                                        My neighbour mr. R. Veerasamy, s/o. Rangappan residing at no.1, pillaiyar koil street, (Railway gate road, urapakkam, back side deva annai school chengalput taluk, kancheepuram district.,) pin code - 603211, mobile: [protected]. Has encroached my residential plot as said above, using the place as welding workshop. He has drilled deep into the ground to pumpout the ground water he is misusing the 3 phase electricity connection given by tangedco.
                                        May i request you, sir, to kindly intervene into this, enquire, and remove the electricity connection do the needful and oblige.
