My past tenant has registered my tneb service no [protected] with his email id. But now he shifted off. Now i didn't know username and password. So i can't get anyinformation includingtarriff. Hence kindly take the immediate action to delete this account for my convenience. Hence i request u to delete that account. So i can easily register as a new user.

    Tneb - meter was not working since march 2019. I have raised online complainton 7th march 2019 at tangedco. Last week 23rd june 2019 two persons came to my place and claiming that meter burnt and i have to pay for the same. The persons dosen't hold any id or when demand for their id they said they don't have.
    Till date the bill raised as previous month average and been paid accordingly
    When i talked to the ae concerned, got tyhe reply saying that meter got burnt, so i have to pay for the meter to get it replaced
    The same has been again raised online complaint at tangedco on 02 nd july 2019.
    Today 3rd july 2019 @ persons from tneb came to my place and checked meter and insisted to pay for the same for replacement.

    Meter is tneb property and it is the responsibity of tneb to replace.
    As per the tneb persons meter is burnt due to overload. For which how come consumer to pay for the meter to get it replace. I request your goodoffice to clarify and do the needfull

      I am staying in a single bhk in royapettah for around 7 months. Power consumption would be usually 300 — 400 units only. But for the past 4 months my eb bill is displaying consumed units as 700 - 800 which is very abnormal. I am pretty sure that my consumption would not be that much. I need this to be resolved at the earliest.

      Note: the same is informed in letter to concerned ae but no proper response was received from his end.

      We face regularly at night time power cut and it will rectified after 3 hours only at night time. There is no permanent solution given. Phone also not picked up.

        There is power cut in abinandhan nagar, nanmangalam, almost 5 days in a week, around 10 pm. There is one phase switched on after an hour which fluctuates so badly that we need to switch off the appliances. For minimum 1 hour in the night. Getting through the call center or eb is a herculean task and even if we there is no use. It has become very difficult for old people, children and office goers.

          daily power cut at kamakoti nagar

          There is power cut at kamakoti nagar pallikaranai every day for minimum 1 hour in the night. Today (2/july) there is no power since 9pm till 11pm and the power isn't back yet. The call center doesn't pick calls and eb office number just keeps ringing.

          Need your help to fix this issue as it is causing a lot of inconveniences to the residents everyday....

          I applied for new eb connection, coimbatore south, chettipalayam, online receipt shown below 800 rs, but they asked me 3500 inr, no receipt too, india is not a democratic country, it is monorchy by corrupted govt employees, i paid but how lower middle class can. Even iam working in a govt organisation passport, only few offices like panchayat office, taluk office, eb office are ultimately in corruption, ask us to pay govt but why we want to pay foreman of eb, not democratic

            power cut off in kazhipattur

            I am a resident of chennai kazipattur link road opp gateway international school padur. Here we r suffering dialysis power cutoff without any reason for 3-4 hr
            Please look into the matter as soon as possible.
            Why this daily power cutoff is happening pls explain as the officers here has no answers pls do the needful.
            Here many people got effected due to this some small children s are having there...

            Dear sir, i am dr. Murlidhar rajagopalan, consultant detmatologist having a clinic at 12a, arunachala apartments, m. G. Road, thiruvanmiyur. Chennai. 600041. My eb connection is[protected].
            I would like to inform you that there is an abnormal reading, i found in the meter for the past 2-3 months. For instance, my clinic was closed for more than 10 days in april and almost 23 days in may'19.
            The meter reading has shown 610 units which would be normal when the clinic runs for 20-25 days in a month.
            Therefore, i request you to kindly check the meter and resolve the issue at the earliest.

            There is no Current In our area(Beach road) in cuddalore from 9pm to till now, we are unable to contact EB office mobile number and they didn't clear it

              Sir,
              Upto last 24.4.2019 (Previous date of reading) the average current comsumptin was around 370 to 480 units /bimonthly. But in the meter reading taken on 20.6.2019, the consumption was 1130 units. Which is more than twice the excess of average consumption for the last 7 average readings. We could not findout where this has to be clarified. The tariff charged for this current reading is rs. 5938/- as against rs. 1000/- (Average). This gives over burden to us.

              We request you to kindly once again verify the meter reading and do the needful

                I have applied for net meter on 06/05/2019 at eb kovaipudur coimbatore tamil nadu but till date sanction is not accorded. I have approached the concerned authorities and they respect me a lot because i am a senior citizen and they speak to me very politely. I humbly request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and help me get the net meter connection sanction immediately.

                  Sir, i d. Srinivasan residing at no.5 parijatham street, annanur chennai 600062 do hereby complaint that there is a frequent power failure in my locality for the last one week. If there is no power supply for 1hour or 2 hours is bearable but it is continuining further till 6 am morning. I rang up several numbers[protected],[protected], [protected] many times but no one is interested in sorting out in a timely manner.in my house small children are suffering. I hope proper action will be against this frequent power failure.

                    This is pazhani.s staying in ambattur (murugan theatre backside). This complaint is to change the Eb post near my house which may fall at any situation and looking to be at worst condition. I request you to take faster action as fast as possible. In case if it falls and lead to accident the full responsibility is to be taken by TNEB department due to improper maintanance.

                    15/05/19 my last payment date, but i am not payed, am payed went to eb office they not accepted and return back and payed force him to 16/06/19 new reading also, so 12500 schedule payments payed, but bill copy 5961 only given, for one month payment only bill received, balance money not return to my father.

                      Eb meter fixed in my home seems to be running fast. Last time i was been charged for rs1100 and this time rs 3760. Hence complaint was raised in tneb website thrice in last 2 months but the issue was not sorted out still. Though the complaint was closed by paruthipattu ae with some invalid justification.

                      I have even went and saw the ae in person last week but he did not sent any technician to inspect or nor took any steps to replace the faulty eb meter. Ae's response was totally not satisfactory.

                        Greetings from customer i'm lived in a vengalam village dr. Ambethkar street i have to complained more than twelve times regarding illegally used free current service but still now not response from tneb krishnapuram office. (In my near neighbouring house people having tneb free service but they have to used illegally borewell motor and other uses so that only my home electronic appliances totally damaged because of low voltage i have depressed so much also economically so please could rapid solution otherwise i would file a complaint in highcourt against tneb)

                          It has become a regular event for disruption of power supply in and around 9th sector, 52nd street and surrounding streets in k. K. Nagar during night time. Only about 20 houses face this problem while other houses in the same street have the supply which is hard to understand. There is a problem in communicating the situation to the fuse call centre or 1912 as the telephones remain disconnected. Representation to the chairman's office also say that we have to contact only 1912 while this number remains off the line. The chairmans office remain unhelpful and they are not responsible for it.

                          The standard reply when contacted in person is feeder failure or tripping.

                          If a problem is a persisting one can't they find a permanent resolution of the long pending issue or those responsible should address the route cause to find a permanent solution?

                          Needless to say power supply is an essential service which is being paid for on dot

                            Our company fluid control services at 23, kannaki nagar, 4th street. Korattur chennai-80. Cmwssb ppl broken our electric cable during pipe installation.
                            There is no power from 28.06.19 at 9am.
                            Eb ppl told him to correct it by cmw ppl.
                            Please solve our problem. There is huge lose of my company due to power failure. Please take necessary action.

                              I am d. Innoceng rakkini with consumer no[protected], arumbakkam, chennai-106, tamil nadu. I registered a complaint on 5th june, 2019 in tneb website regarding excess billing which is 5 times more than my normal bill amount and i doubt malfunction of our digital meter which was installed during october, 2018. Since no action was taken till then, on 17 th june i visited our area ae personally and explained my situation. Though she said she will take action by using a check meter, till now no action has been taken and i meet them in person everyday regarding this complaint. My bill due date is over and since no action has been taken on my complaint for more than25 days, i am unable to pay my bill. I am afraid that my service might be disconnected if my bill is not paid sooner. Kindly rectify this issue as earliest as possible.

                                My tenant was using the tneb online payment option. Now he has vacated and and the new tenant has to change the user id and password for online bill payment.
                                Any attempt to change the id has proved to be futile and moreover the information is going to the already registered mail id of my old tenant
