Kindly note i am staying in abroad. I am an nri. I am planning to build new house in coimbatore. So my family tried to apply for temporary 3 phase connection for construction works. But unfortunately i am not able to go directly to eb office they want me to come. I am ready to sign my document from here or else my family member can sign please advise.

We are facing power cut issue on daily basis at 10pm for past one month. We called over the phone and not they are picking call.

    I am a resident of Nilamangai nagar, Adambakkam, Chennai. I have made several complaints through this forum about frequent powercuts in our area of late. Everyday day in and day out there is unannounced powercut several times a day lasting for hours both in the daytime and night time. When the Govt.says there is no powercut in Tamilnadu, why it is happening in our locality daily. In spite of several complaints no action has been taken till now and it is getting worse. I request the higher authorities in TNEB/TÀNGEDCO to take immediate action on the Adambakkam EB officials and put an end to this menace as it is agonizing.

      Sir, Iam from thandurai, Vigneshwar nagar, Pattabiram. For several months we are facing low voltage problem. In between i have lost my LED tv and changed the AC stabilizers, due to voltage fluctuations.
      I have attached the picture of how low the voltage is. We are receiving only 130v where the average should be atleast 180v.
      Registered lot of complaints in tneb website. But haven't received any response.
      Kindly resolve the issue, .

        I had taken a new connection during last week of april (24.04.19), consumer number is[protected] and the eb meter reading was taken at last week of june and the reading was 230 units. It was taken against the consumer number and with the help of meter digital code. At that time the eb card was available with the builder. I didnt get any online billing through the tneb website. So i approached the sevvapet eb office, but they said that reading was only 50 units. I dont know what to do. Till now 430 unit is running. If they didnt enter the actual reading i have to pay the huge amount in the next reading since it will be fall on the higher slab

          Dear sir,
          We are ht consumer (S. C.587 krishnagiri circle) our factory located near shoolagiri. Krishnagiri district. Due to power interruption not able to run factory full load. Last month (27/05/19 to 27/06/19) power cut-hours 88.
          This month 27/06/19 to 8/7/19) power cut 37 hours. For this power interruption huge production loss and not able to run the factory full time.
          Please kindly short out the problem as soon as possible.

            This is bring up your notice that there is frequent power cut in taramani... When trying to the helpline no body answers the call, the call gets disconnected after 40 sec. Today ther is no power from 11 and trying to contact the helpline nobody picks the call automatically gets disconnected in 30-40 sec... Pls can someone look into this.. It’s shame that this govt is not even able to provide basis need of the people...

            the mentioned address is my property. In which the Meter display is not working. I have planned to construct a building in the property. Due to display problem i cant able to do the construction work. kindly resolve the problem as soon as possible.

              The reading of electricity was not taken by the staff. When checked on eb office for the payment of bill, they replied no due. When checked online the response was no bill due for the above stated consumer number. Fifteen days later the eb staff comes to remove the fuse carrier without prior notice stating you have bill due and forcing to pay fine... When the error of this case is on the officers and workers... How can the consumer be blamed? Tamilnadu government as usual it is not for the public service. Hail tneb

                Dear sir we are in Putlur, Thiruvallur Dist in our place eb bill reading person is not coming in correct date some months he is not available also. When he comes late the unit is crossing more than 500, so we have to pay the extra amount for crossing 500 units this is not our problem this is eb problem why I have to pay extra amount. This is not for me only in our place everybody is suffering so pls take necessary action as soon as possible. we comes under veppam pattu eb.

                  This is in regards to tneb nolambur branch in mogappair, chennai. The supply is highly irregular for the past 2 months. Low voltage issue has always been there. Even after numerous complaints to the eb office, the problem remains. Sometimes there is blackout for 6 hours at a stretch at any time. It isn't announced earlier. The excuse is the same everyday about the transformer being repaired.

                    I am using this service for agriculture purpose but always there was power failure occurring due to very poor maintenance of the lines. Now for the last 4 days no supply of power and i informed to local eb office and concern lineman. Still no action taken to solve the problem. All my plants and treed are dried due to no water. I have coconut, pomegranate, supporta and many other plant all are in dying condition now. Please attend the issue quickly at least to save our remaining plants as early as possible.

                      I wanted to get my name transferred in the electricity bill for which i went to the rs puram electricity board office. I submitted all the required documents asked. And went thrice to the office and everytime the concerned officer was not found. And then one person in the office told that the officer had asked rs 2000 for completing the fornalities and a, separate fee of rs400. And only if the officer gives the permission he can transfer the name else not. This is a clear corruption. Why m i supposed to pay bribe to such corrupted officers? Govt should take drastic step against such practices and start online applications atleast we consumers can save both our yime and money. Highly disappointing.

                        My past tenant has registered my tneb service no [protected] with his email id. But now he shifted off. Now i didn't know username and password. So i can't get anyinformation includingtarriff. Hence kindly take the immediate action to delete this account for my convenience. Hence i request u to delete that account.                           Tneb - meter was not working since march 2019. I have raised online complainton 7th march 2019 at tangedco. Last week 23rd june 2019 two persons came to my place and claiming that meter burnt and i have to pay for the same. The persons dosen't hold any id or when demand for their id they said they don't have.
                          Till date the bill raised as previous month average and been paid accordingly
                          When i talked to the ae concerned, got tyhe reply saying that meter got burnt, so i have to pay for the meter to get it replaced
                          The same has been again raised online complaint at tangedco on 02 nd july 2019.
                          Today 3rd july 2019 @ persons from tneb came to my place and checked meter and insisted to pay for the same for replacement.

                          Meter is tneb property and it is the responsibity of tneb to replace.

                            I am staying in a single bhk in royapettah for around 7 months. Power consumption would be usually 300 — 400 units only. But for the past 4 months my eb bill is displaying consumed units as 700 - 800 which is very abnormal. I am pretty sure that my consumption would not be that much. I need this to be resolved at the earliest.

                            Note: the same is informed in letter to concerned ae but no proper response was received from his end.

                              There is power cut in abinandhan nagar, nanmangalam, almost 5 days in a week, around 10 pm. There is one phase switched on after an hour which fluctuates so badly that we need to switch off the appliances. For minimum 1 hour in the night. Getting through the call center or eb is a herculean task and even if we there is no use. It has become very difficult for old people, children and office goers.

                                daily power cut at kamakoti nagar

                                There is power cut at kamakoti nagar pallikaranai every day for minimum 1 hour in the night. Today (2/july) there is no power since 9pm till 11pm and the power isn't back yet. The call center doesn't pick calls and eb office number just keeps ringing.

                                Need your help to fix this issue as it is causing a lot of inconveniences to the residents everyday....

                                I applied for new eb connection, coimbatore south, chettipalayam, online receipt shown below 800 rs, but they asked me 3500 inr, no receipt too, india is not a democratic country, it is monorchy by corrupted govt employees, i paid but how lower middle class can. Even iam working in a govt organisation passport, only few offices like panchayat office, taluk office, eb office are ultimately in corruption, ask us to pay govt but why we want to pay foreman of eb, not democratic

                                  Dear sir, i am dr. Murlidhar rajagopalan, consultant detmatologist having a clinic at 12a, arunachala apartments, m. G. Road, thiruvanmiyur. Chennai. 600041. My eb connection is[protected].
                                  I would like to inform you that there is an abnormal reading, i found in the meter for the past 2-3 months. For instance, my clinic was closed for more than 10 days in april and almost 23 days in may'19.
                                  The meter reading has shown 610 units which would be normal when the clinic runs for 20-25 days in a month.
                                  Therefore, i request you to kindly check the meter and resolve the issue at the earliest.

                                    Upto last 24.4.2019 (Previous date of reading) the average current comsumptin was around 370 to 480 units /bimonthly. But in the meter reading taken on 20.6.2019, the consumption was 1130 units. Which is more than twice the excess of average consumption for the last 7 average readings. We could not findout where this has to be clarified. The tariff charged for this current reading is rs. 5938/- as against rs. 1000/- (Average). This gives over burden to us.

                                    We request you to kindly once again verify the meter reading and do the needful
