We are staying at pallavram.From 12 to till this second 4.35 am there is no power supply...office phone numbers always out of reach. .Please show some humanity towards public. .People work hard in daytime and they can get back to work only if they get good sleep at night...But you TNEB shows your presence and skills by cutting off power supply during night.Please show humanity. .

    20 June 2019 - power cut was from 10 AM. Not sure when it is back
    20 June 2019 - power cut from 7 PM to the next day.Now it is 21june - 4 am, still there is no power.
    It was too inconvenient.
    How can we sleep on weekday in summer if there is no power.
    Whenever we call the local EB office, it is busy.
    No information at all.

      puzhuthivakkam daily late night power cuts

      I am residing at Puzhuthivakkam, Chennai . Here we have been facing terrible late night / mid night Power cuts and very terrible low voltage problems on daily basis. No one is resolving the problem . Peoples, families and childrens suffering a lot . Due to low voltage /flickering supply Fans /AC / lights become faulty everyday . TNEB Chennai helpline numbers are not picked up anytime in the night or in a day.

      I am in nagooran garden(new washermenpet) 14th block there is no current everyday night time particularly in this block only having this problem.already complaint eb office eb man told cable fault but didnt resolve the cable fault.till dont have current so many times i called that eb man didnt pick up the call and customer emergency service(1912) from her side also no proper response.i feel very disappointed and disgusting about the service of tneb(new washermenpet).i really suffering daily current cut problem in my block.kindly resolve my cable fault pls help us

        I am prabhakar .b,

        Now i am in kovur, ambal nagar 2nd,
        Chennai 600128, here is power cut issue (torcher) increasing Everyday... total 3 phases gone at a time in any time a day.. especially night time is worst ... Street light also gone that times.. Weekly one night power cut night... Other areas power is always available...
        Helpline no is not working ...
        Email id also not providing in any where ...
        Total 3 phases gone suddenly at any time ... My home lights is tup tup.. electronic devices also suffered... Where can I say? When this kind of issues ending point?...
        Child's struggles to sleep some nights ... Mosquito s adding extra disturbing ...
        Monthly power cut day properly done...
        I think that day maintenance work will happen in everywhere... But here we can't see that kind of work that day..?

        Our complaints not resolved till now...Now Power cut time is decreased ... Minimum 3cut only...
        Lock down time only
        I didn't see power cuts... After lock down tup tup starting... Now time is 1.45 am I seen 4th cut today 10 min, 20min, 10 min, 5 min done today ...

        Please resolve our complaints as soon as possible...
        Same power tup tup... Same kovur... same Ambal Nagar
        3phase sudden cut... After 10 min on ...
        Any body saw our complaints in our state...

          Dear TNEB, we are residing in vallakottai Murugan street, keelkattalai. Daily night 4 hours from 9.45 to 1.45 we are not having power. If asked means you are telling that we will receive in 30mins. But still it's not coming. Need to know the reason. Don't think us fool by telling lame reason. No power, no water. Next what? We are taxpayers. The way you people are not supplying power during summer nights are unacceptable.

          There has been manual powercut done in our apartment Transformer every night around 11 pm and it is switched on by the Pallikaranai EB staff only after 3 to 4 hours, creating a huge hindrance and discomfort for four nights as of now without any reason.

            I stay in vardharaajpuram pallikarnai and though i have 3phase connection still i face severe voltage fluctuations and due to which my ac and fridge is damaged. I have complained numerous times but no one comes to attend to fix the issue. I have called and walked physically no. Of times but no resultion and for this o am paying hefty electricity bills and if i do not get proper supply and then they should also not charge me..its cheating.

              My EB service number is [protected], for last 3 cycles, i have been charged excess amount as Rs-51, 324 (Jan-19, Mar-19, May-19) and every cycle i have been charged Rs-17108. When i approached Valasarvakam EB office, they replied because of meter faulty reading, this amount has been updated, i have to pay the same. How to correct this wrong entry ?

              Adding to above, TNEB team replaced a new meter in April 2019, but they have updated their system only in May 2019 stating, meter has been replaced. I would request concern authorities to intervene and resolve this issue.
              Frequent power cut is happening in Madipakkam, Ram nagar 8thcross street. The transformer here is not in good condition. The wires are often burning. The people here are suffering a lot. Especially the power cut happens in night. Yesterday it was whole night without power supply. Please take necessary action

                The Line between from Post to home found loose condition, a branch of tree incline the line hence it is found to be damaged. Kindly take action immediately to rectify.                   What is the reason behind the uninformed power cuts of more than 5 hours a day. It is repeating for past two weaks. It seems It's better to stay in my office 24*7. The lower middle class has a only joy of sleeping in nights in their life. But you guys were really frustrating them in every sort of life cycle. No water, no current, then what is the [censored] govt doing in the secretrait. Do anything to stop or inform the people about the low power in- stock . So that they will took precautions on their own without believing the govt..

                    In Perungudi there is no current every day night time from 10pm to 2 am are more then that till I don't have current I called to end office they can't pick up the call and answer they all are make the mobile number as busy I have tried more then 20 to 30 time what we have to do in this situation is there any escalation matrixs to solve this problem because of this all are suffering every day pls help us.. Are tell me way to escalate with higher officers...

                      There is a uninformed frequent powercut daily for more than 5 hours in Madipakkan area. For what reason they are shutting down the power for these periods we don't know. And there is no response regarding this issue from the any TNEB Officials. There is more difficulties in getting up for the next day due to this issue and the students are getting more suffocated for the next day. So, please i request the higher officials or government to take immediate actions regarding this matter.

                          Hi, Seema from near pillayar kovil Street, Medavakam 100. There is no power from 10.30pm to till 12.16 am. Near street also Power cut at the same time. But near street Power came with in half an hour. But in pillayar and perumal kovil street power not yet come. We have tired all Medavakam EB numbers. Not responding In this situation to whom we are contact??? Even single time the phone is not attended till. I have tired in many situation like this... Please don't say due to heavy load. I am not sure why the system is not upgraded to take current load.

                              There are frequent power cuts in jawahar hussain khan 2nd street, Royapettah, chennai - 600014. Either they don't attend the call or talk irresponsibly. The same place is dug and the weak cable is joined to fix the problem temporarily every time, after the suffering of 14 long hours. (Mid night to 2 P.m). When asked about why they don't replace the cable with a better thick one, the higher officials and the minister of EB of AIADMK is blamed for not providing the fund. My question is why are they collecting electricity charges and deposits?
                              Now out of frustration we people of the affected streets have decided to go for RTI and take legal action against EB, if they don't give us permanent solution. Hope at least one duty bound officer from EB would take immediate action.

                                We are facing Frequent Power Cut and Very Very Low Voltage problem in our area from 06.06.2019 to till now.

                                So, in our area Air conditioner and Television and Fridge and Washing Machines bore well are Not working properly. Due to the Low Voltage problem.

                                There is a only one Transformer for above 500 houses. We are very much struggling with the issue.

                                Requesting you to arrange one Separate Transformer to our area...

                                  Dear sirs,
                                  We have a three phase power supply connection in our residence.In which, we are getting only one phase for the past several months. we complained in th local EB office but our complaint was not resolved.
                                  Furthermore, even the single phase power supply we were getting is not proper now.
                                  We are getting 260 volts without load. due to this high voltage, our appliances are malfunctioning, motor winding got burnt...

                                    I am an advocate staying at venkatesa perusal 2nd street Madipakkam. Our area witnesses power court for more than 4 hours during night from 10 PM. Not able to reach the ae office since its busy all the 5 hrs the power is cut. What is the reason behind power cut. How are students and working people will be able to gear up for the next day. There is no single responsible person to attend calls and rectify the same. Shame on tneb and its officials who enjoy uninterrupted services at their residence leaving the ordinary consumers on lurch
