Dear Sir/Madam,

I am residing at Easwaran Nagar 2nd street, Veppampattu, 602024.
Every day and also during night there is a voltage fluctuation ( Low Voltage to very Low voltage). We have never seen proper Voltage anyday. We have asked the EB officer and they said that there is no transformer for our area so there is a low voltage. We have asked them to place a transformer but they never replied to the query. There are many household equipment which got damaged due to the low voltage. Please check and do the needful or we have to escalate further

    We r staying in kundrathur ishwaryam nagar. For the past 3 yrs we are suffering in low voltage problem. We raised a complaint about this problem in our eb office many times. But they are not responding. There is only one transformer in our area. We requested for new transformer. Our area people gave many complaints about this problem but the officers are not ready to solve this problem. Please help us to resolve this low voltage. Many people are affecting by low voltage

        We stay at new street, kottur, we have been facing power cut issues almost everyday during night times and I have raised the complaint with eb customer care multiple times but there seems to be no response at all. It’s almost sleepless nights everyday and this is affecting the health as office goers find it very difficult to manage this situation. Only once I got a proper response saying there is a overload issue and thats why they have been shutdown few areas in the nights. My point is why don’t you do this in the day time or if the load is too much you need to find an alternative solution to handle this issue. Shutting the power every night is not a proper solution to this issue. Why are the electricity board top people not bothered to look into this issue. Absolutely no action taken till date as we are facing this issue for the past one week. Hope someone concerned looks into complaint and resolves it on a permanent basis.

In night after once I come from my work power cut we work too hard in the morning an we people use to come home tired to sleep .byt here day by day power cut is going worst I know the practice problem too much of sun but what can we do i[censored] people think u can change completely the line that may not come again like this I wish my complaint should be seen an please help us to solve this issue thank u

            There is Unscheduled power outage in Moovarasampet Madipakkam Raghava nagar area and eb office Madipakkam never picks up the phone and it is so terrible in this summer.

            Kindly take immediate action and help with uninterrupted power supply.

            Kindly make the scheduled power outage that too during day time which would really help public.

              For the past two months we are facing frequent power fluctuations. Kindly resolve this issue Voltage fluctuation varies from 120 V to 230 V mostly it is around 160V - 170V which cause failure of most of the electrical Appliances.
              But Govt. says we have excess power I wonder why our area is suffering from this issue. And in out of 3 phase line which we have only 2 phase line.

              Sir, I'm from gobichettipalayam, ram nagar, G. H feeder, (VIP area). Daily at night 10.30 pm to 11.00pm the power will frequently cut one phase and doesn't know when the wireman come and put fuse. Daily we suffer lot by this problem. Daily we call wireman and ask to put fuse. Please solve this problem.

              I am Neelagandan form walajapet, vellore dt. I am many time complete walajapet EB office but no action.

              Walajapet continues inside PVC pipe in street Electrical main wire.

              Pls take action immediately and control PVC pipe inside.

              We are facing current cut daily especially on nights for nearly 1 hour. It may be a low voltage also sometimes. Even there is maintainence next day they are doing the same thing. It affect the sleep. All r office goers
              As I was paid to TNEB exam fee two times, so I want you to refund amount to my account. You guys promised me to refund within a month but now it takes more then a year. Take necessary action towards the exam payment issue and provide my amount.
              Here lightly rain come they shut down 3 hours
              Monthly maintenance. Taken 9to7pm

              Nothing doing. All area rain coming symtom seen next second elericity shut down 3to 4hour

              Please take nessary action

                We live in Narayanapuram Area, west anna nagar 4th street, and for the past one month, the voltage has been very low and we were never able to switch on Air conditioner. The heat has been so intense and most of the nights we are not able to sleep.even after so many complaints we still haven't got any response.babies are there and they find difficult to sleep at night due to AC not working. And fans are really slow. Please help us out

                  My EB service no [protected]

                  TNEB has charged an additional deposit of Rs 1810 to my bi-monthly bill.
                  They are stating the addiitonal deposit is charged based on consumption pattern.
                  They threatened to disconnect power if I refuse to pay.
                  Additional deposit is a totally immoral policy/act by TNEB and additional financial burden on comsumers.

                  Please take immediate steps to withdraw this TNEB Act which will releive the burden on consumers.

                      Im from karur district, vangal, kuppuchipalayam, mgr nagar, . Here there is repeated power cut off, in day time at sundays, and night time at working days, . We are paying the bills properly, by your side, the transmission line comes under coconut trees, due to the broken leaves, the power get disturbed. My request is to put the landline cables to avoid such disruption on power. Our area has such disruption coz of coconut leaves. So u can cary over with underground cables for risky areas right?

                        Hi sir, I am from medavakkam Ayyapa Nagar first cross street (next to bhel Nagar).
                        I am facing a really bad pathetic service from TNEB medavakkam office whenever there are power cuts. Everyday from 10pm the low voltage scenario starts, and after 11 pm there are power cuts almost each and every day .

                        TNEB number is not reachable most of the times, and rarely when getting a chance to speaking to them we ll get a constant answer there is a fault in line. ( Not sure why they are having a faulty line daily by 11 pm ) .

                        On June 10, 2019 there was around 10 power cuts in my area, and there is no proper maintainence in power lines .

                          Dear Sir,

                          Every year after year same issue keeps repeating. The Medavakkam EB service is beyond pathetic! Every day constant power cuts at night multiple times. How is one suppose to sleep during this hot summer? God only knows what is it that they repair so much that power has to be taken everyday! And 99% the EB phone never connects or says temporarily not reachable!

                          This needs immediate intervention. We are paying for the power we use. Least is to keep power up and running and not provide such miserable service. Please look into this and pull up the Medavakkam EB work force for such horrible service!

                            As i am in Kallikuppam Ambattur in single BHK. As i used to get only 35 to 50 Rupees initially till last year as i dont have much high reading electric equipment. But, for last 6 months i am getting 380, 560 and this month it is 770+deposit something mentioned in Card.

                            As i use only fans and light at major time with 2 person in a house.

                            Check and solve as soon.

                            As i have posted for high tarrif gradually increasing month by month. as i complaint in EB they said all fine from their end but how come this happen if all fine.

                                I have tried multiple times to add consumer number in TNEB site. But i'm able to add so.

                                I have cross verified with my EB card as well. I have given correct region and consumer no.
                                Still I get same error again and again.

                                The account is active too, still i'm not able to add consumer number. It says 'invalid consumer no'

                                Please help in resolving this problem.

                                  Minimum 4 to 5 times in a day there is an interruptions of power supply in west kalmandabam street, opp lane to Benny backery, several complaints were made to the concerned, commissioning of pillar provided at the street 6months back. Hence it is requested to commissioning the pillar box at the earliest so as to aviod frequent stopage of power supply please.

                                    I have been charged 320rs in aug'18, monthly once or twice we visit that house. I have reported to EB office before the due date to correct. But they neglected(by system not working, no net connection etc) and finally charged me 629rs. Now again got a bill amount of 960rs. Which they are not giving proper answer and asking to pay. Vengal EB office.

                                      It is heartfelt to write that I am staying in my newly built own house at Kilpauk area and the house has concrete flooring that is neatly laid in front of the house. Before relishing the happiness of our own house, the TNEB people who came for laying some new electrical cables started to break the concrete flooring in front of my house without any prior intimation.
                                      Even though we had requested to start digging beyond where the concrete floor ends, they refused and destroyed the flooring and laid the new wiring from the junction box fixed to the right side of my house running through the front face of the house. In this regard, photograph of the people in the scene of this unlawful/pitiable action is enclosed for favour of information and further necessary action.
                                      Moreover, the digging was done too close to the gates and walls of the house which is clearly visible from the photographs. This has affected the strength and stability of the structure to a great extent. We’re currently noticing fire sparks in the junction box & smoke evicting from the wires. This is a clear case of lackadaisical attitude wherein they failed to apply their mind just to facilitate smooth completion of their own job though flawed, compromising on the safety of the building. For safety purposes, this junction box shall be migrated from here to a suitable location as well.
                                      It is sorry to say that even after repeated requests to the people and asked for the identity, they refused and started to use vulgar and unparliamentarily words to abuse us. It is heartfelt to see that this incident is condemnable and will also bring down the goodwill of TNEB at this area.
                                      It is therefore requested that necessary action may be taken against the alleged staff who were indulged in this issue and necessary repairs may be made or compensation shall be given. I’d also state that in case the reply is delayed or unfavourable, I’ll be compelled to approach the court for further legal action against the staff with TNEB branch so as to get a compensation. Also if the reply is delayed beyond 20 days, it is presumed that your reply is not favour to me and necessary further action will be taken by me against your branch and the staff concerned.

                                        Urgent ...!
                                        Kailash from Ayyanar nagar, Virudhunagar, and Virudhunagar district here powercut from midnight 12 am to till now 2 am.
                                        More than 150 houses no power. We called the local office and wireman but no one is responding our calls and they said after 5 am only will able to come. But how can we manage with babies and old age peoples without power. Due to summer season in outer side mosquito is the main problem. Kindly do the needful in urgent basis.
