Hi,
My name is ranjith and i reside in mugalivakkam, chennai. I am facing some power issues at my place now and when i contacted our eb office in mugalivakkam, i got a reply saying that there will be a person attending to my issue shortly. I waited for almost two hours and nobody turned up. I tried reaching them again and there was this person who said he cannot individual problem in the late hours. I requested him to atleast visit my place as it might be a minor problem which he could resolve in no time but he refused to come.
If he had told this when i contacted him for the first time i would have looked for alternatives. Now i need to sleep without electricity the whole night. I am totally disappointed by this behaviour of these people. I request the concerned person to take action against these people or atleast advice them to respond in a responsible manner.
Ps the first eb person i contacted was mr. Suresh kumar.

Current is not supplied properly in main connection. Neutral wire is seemed disturbed in the post near my house.
Am unable to pay bill as then site says connection is NOT LIVE

    நான் மேற்கண்ட விலாசத்தில் எனது குடும்பத்தாரு�... வசித்து வருகிறேன். ஓகி புயல் தாக்கப்பட்டதா... எங்கள் வீட்டினருகிலு... பல மரங்கள் கீழே சாய்ந்தன. மின் வினியோகம் முற்றிலுமாக தடைபட்டது. கடந்த[protected] அன்று மின்சார வாரிய ஊழியர்கள் சில பேர் என் கணவர் திரு. V.நெல்லியப்பன்-à®... "நீங்கள் சாய்ந்திருக்க... மரங்களை வெட்டி அகற்றினால் இன்று[protected] மின்சாரம் வினியோகம் செய்யப்படும் என்று கூறினர்". மின்சார வாரிய ஊழியர்கள் கூறியமையால் அனைத்து மின்சாரப்பாதைà... மின்சாரம் முற்றிலுமாக தடைசெய்யப்படட�... என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் எனது கணவர் என்னிடம் தெரிவித்துக்à®�... மரத்தை வெட்டி மாற்ற முற்பட்டு சீலாந்தி மரத்தை வெட்டும் போது 110kv உயரழுத்த மின்பாதையில் செல்லும் மின்சாரம் ஈர்ப்பு (Induction) மூலம் தாக்கப்பட்டு மரணமடைந்தார்.
    இவ்வாறு மின்சார விபத்து மூலம் நான் என் கணவரை இழந்ததற்கான காரணம் மின்சார வாரிய ஊழியர்களின் அலட்சியம் மற்றும் எங்கள் நிலத்தில் 110kv உயரழுத்த மின்சார பாதையானது தாழ்வாக செல்வதே காரணமாகும். எனவே பிற்காலத்தில் இது போன்ற விபத்து நடக்காதவாறு உயரழுத்த மின்சார பாதையை உயர்த்தி தருமாறும், எனது கணவரின் இழப்பிற்கு இணையான நிவாரணம் பெற்று தருமாறும் தாழ்மையாய் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.

    N.M.S - S.N. - I.T.I Thamaraikulam, Uchipuli, Ramanathapuram(dt) In this institution 3phase connection are there. one phase is very low voltage(50v).
    As on Monday (11/12/17) Meter shows 5980 units. However reading taken as 6000 units on Saturday (09/12/17). But, no one turned to note units in my home. My Bill amount for 190 units Rs.155 however now Rs. 290 for 220 units which is double. I already raised a complaint on 11/12 through my TNEB login and it still in process. No - [protected]

    Seems they don't have sense to speak with people when I gave a call medawakkam EB Office speaking too harsh and he is not responding well.
    Here the problem is they have announced power shutdown 9 AM to 4PM . But now he said 6PM . Why the time is extended more than announced?

      Dear sir,
      I am from karaikudi. House eb no :[protected] (Door no.2 name : meyypaapn
      Last 2 months my tenant go for job. So no one can in the house from eb dept come to my house to take reading. Last time i checked in online for the bill payment, is not added. But i pay rs.1000 through online. And then next month i paid rs.1200 in the eb office directly.
      Today i checked in online and it shows rs 2003/- and i surprised how they mentioned this amount with out taking reading. I asked the eb person in the office and asked the reading details. They are unable to give me the reading details and they said no one in my house during that time. Then they said pay this next month they will deduct. With out knowing the reading how can i pay & how can they deduct from my next bill payment?
      Last date for bill payment is 1st of the coming month. Hence i kindly request you
      To provide me the correct bill amount as per the actual consumption.

        Tneb, they are not taking the reading on regular interval basis. If customer not paying the bill amount, then tneb need to disconnect the current, but they will not do this. They will keep quiet till it reach amount 5000 and then they will disconnect, which is very painful for customer. Due to slab rate customer need to loose there money because of reading not taking in regular interval. Can madipakkam tneb ayyappan koil st can look into this plz??

        Hi above subjected Sc No has no power since 2 month, we complaint against this still no action. Each time When we complaint persons used to come work for the sake & get 100/200 rs.
        This line taken Only before 6 month. Only ladies staying at home, consider this as priority and take an immediate action against.

                I have problems for last 3 months in tneb. Even i have made compliant by person no response and also written too. See the below details there are irregular slab rate they have charged

                I have copy all bills and complain letters but i dont have proper repky. Check this matter and reply me.

                  Hi,

                  There are lot of short fall charges applied on my eb bill for continuously two billing cycles, where as i have got a traveling job and i keep traveling because of which the consumption varies, the charges put are :
                  September : rs 1641
                  November : rs 6233

                  These charges are not correct as there is not fault in the meter and the electricity is consumed less.
                  Request you to reduce these charges as these charges are not correct.

                      Please check the street light connection.in night timings no current in our area (Pandalgudi). It will definitely cause theft and insecurity. Please do some immediate action about the issue. Already some people jewellery theft before 3 days. Again and again they were not taking any immediate remedy. Mainly night timing we have no current. Pls take immediate action.

As usual our officials simply taken the request letter but not taking any single step to resolve the issue. We think the officials will come to that premises only if people die from pole accident. We don’t why they are being like this. We hope the necessary steps will taken for the same and prevent us from artificial death.

                          There was a power failure in my house alone one month ago. Eb people came and made a temporary connection using cable drawing current from another line in a nearby house. They have not rectified the problem and the cable is lying outside posing danger to public and children. Kindly rectify the problem.

                            Dear sirs,

                            The concrete electric post at south street, karankadu, paraseri distribution unit, thuckalay e b sub division, kanyakumari district, with numbers 28/5/2, 10/74/, 8m/civil/tky/tneb/190/310398, 03/99/04/4, f ii/61, was badly damaged during the ockhi cyclone on 30.11.2017. The concrete electric post was broken on top, having cracks over the body, some parts withered and is waving. Four houses are at present getting electric connection through the post. The post is lying on a public path way and near a public water distribution outlet. The place where the post stands is surrounded by households also.

                            On 08.12.2017 some staff came and told they are going to replace the damaged electric concrete post with new one. However after some time they left without doing any work. On 09.12.2017, again some staff came but did not attend this work. When asked, two e b officials, executive engineer and an ad who were on the spot told that the particular electric post is in their list to be replaced, new electric post is also brought near the location, however they are not changing the post now, because they are under pressure to give electric connection to day (09.12.2017) itself and they do not have sufficient time for replacing the electric post and also that the concrete electric post is situated in a narrow lane. They further told that the particular electric post will not fall for about another three months and will be replaced by local t n e b staff. Other damaged post on the line was replaced and the fallen electric wires were fixed by them.

                            However the street light line was dismantled up to post number 10/75 and was not fixed on the posts.

                            We are without electricity from 29.11.2017 night to till now 10.12.2017 10.55 p m.

                            Please arrange to replace the damaged concrete electric post referred to above with a new electric post to prevent any loss or mishappenings; please restore the street light connections and please give electricity to our houses.

                              I am residing at no.109. Salai street, kancheepuram. I am having electricity service connections in my premises bearing service connection no.[protected]. Iam always paid the electricity bill through online from the date of inception itself. Now more than one year in our town, in online account summary and others have not been functioning, but in rural and other area it has been functioning.in this connections asked concerned asst enginner, he replied and accepted that in town it has been not functioning and further inform me that i will approach you for further relief. Hence i lodged this complaint for taking necessary action. Because of the not working the account summary i could not be in position to seen the earlier details, and also could not found the mistake committed by the reading assessor. Hence i expect from you to rectify the defect in a speedy manner.

                                eb low voltage in house

                                After the cyclone (Okchi) we are get current after ten days that no problem i am under stand the situation.. But now after one day our area the two phases are low voltage due to ht fuse failure condition i am inform to (Palliyadi eb office) eb person, je, and the land line no also. Till the complaint not rectified. First they are telling, ok we should rectify the complaint, now they are not attending the phone. Totally no responding, today...

                                Sir,

                                For the past ten days there has been power failure in our area chekkaravilai in mondaikadu, kanyakumari district due to cyclone ochki. Though power failure has been resolved in most of our neighbouring areas only our area didn't get back the power supply. I made calls to the eb department and they asked me to register a complaint through online. Kindly look after this issue and do the needful as soon as possible.

They have charged excess though my usage is average rs4000 bimonthly. On request to reverse i was forced to pay to avoid disconnection.

                                    The previous tenant has created online payment login and didn't share the details while leaving the house. Now i am not able to pay online as it is still pointing to the old tenant email id for username and password reactivation.

                                    It is very difficult since we do not have the login details for online payment.

This is only happening in our area (Selaivayal_bhadharagiri nagar). I am with my family and my baby is not at all sleeping because we dont know when they are cutting the eb. Twice in a week it happening that also 8 to 10 hours.

                                      I received a mail saying my Online Account has been deleted as another person requested to register.

                                      This is unfair to delete my account without my consent and now I have lost all my payment histories.
                                      Street light not functioning in villupuram housing board area, magadevan nagar, srinvasa nagar, east pondy road villupuram.
