Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] Complaints & Reviews

I have located in car street, madurantakam. Power cut issues always in this area anytime. Yesterday night 3 hours power cut. Today same issue. I was contacted eb office land line no. That's unreachable in the power cut time.
What's the power cut problem in madurantakam eb. We have requested u to rectify the same. Thank u.

Here 48hrs no power supply I'm asking for Eb office staff but no respond nd respect nd also Here yesterday rain nd moonsoon is differ so some areas 2 transformers are damaged but 48hrs Here no power supply nd consider tis areas pls I have a bank exam IN sunday so pls consider nd make a Solution sir tq

We have power cut from 12p.m.until now the situation not changed and we suffer too.so please concern this and kindly bring back electricity to us.

Sir, your a.E. And your a.D. Both were ladies were not giving proper information and not giving basic respect when i reached to your kodambakkam power house e.B. Office, i went for some clarification as my meter is not working properly and they charged little higher and to get the details for the sam, e i went to meet your a.E. And she is answering irresponsible and telling what ever the amount we put for you better you pay and i am telling i am your consumer and if i have doubt is it not your duty to clear it, then she has not explained properly and told this is the amount and you better pay it otherwise your connection will be disconnected and she said she have no other clarification and asked me to meet a.D. Then i asked her that we are paying regularly and with this only you are all getting salary and why not you can give me convincing reply and she told i dont know and meet a.D., and your a.D. Also not properly responded and not given basic respect to me just to ask me to sit and talking convincingly. She is asking me that dont bargain just like for vegetable business here, is this the way for her to talk with me like this, it is not rs.20 or rs.30 it is of rs.1, 300/- its very very bad and worst in giving basic respect, sir i am asking onething we are cunsumers when we have been charged excess then where we have to complaint and its only to them, and what for they are sitting their and you will attend consumers and who will give proper respect and response this i want to know, these things i am asking patiently if no proper reply and sorry words come from your end then i have not other go to reach consumer court and ask you people to come over their to ask sorry and feel insulted for the same my name is s.Shyam sundar and my mobile number is [protected] my consumer is [protected], kodambakkam area, i hope that these informations are enough and take proper action against them, waiting for your convincing words and see please hereafter either me or anybody please give us a seat to sit and give some water if we need and patiently ask our queries and see whether it can be solved if not give us some convincing answer and make us satisfy and love your depafrtment, so that we two can grow together. I was already charged - against 48100-Cc Deposit for the amount of 1800 on[protected].

Again i was charged against 48100-Cc Deposit for the amount of 2670 on Jun-2021.

Will the same will be charged every year? Why it is changed very often?...

Hi TNEB, we are from Chennai Malayappan street, RA puram manadaveli .
from last month power is down every night . 3 to 6 hours daily. and morning nearly 2 hours . Everybody is working from home and school from home. you power TNEB frequent power failure is wasting all of our time. So i need immediate resolution . and i tried to call chairman complaint cell in TNEB phone nubmer[protected] and[protected] but no one is picking up the call. daily we are trying and also tried with EB whats app. No body is responding. what is the use of the number and TNEB consumer complaint.

My village was velamakandrigai village which comes under uthukottai electricity board in Thiruvallur district.in my village there is a power cut from 09.00Am.so we are unable to work, attend the classes properly etc.so kindly give power as soon as possible.

I used to pay EB bill online but for past 2 days when I try to click pay bill, it is not taking me to payment page. Please look on this issue.

We already registered Mobile Number with TNEB website. Usually we will get the msg next day after reading taken. This month yet receive the same.

Today we had power cut by 2 AM now time is 6 AM till now there is no power they even didn't respond our phone call this from kollumedu Avadi

No phone response for registering complaints Nolambur Chennai [protected] mobile [protected] been switched off and on 1912. On queue for long hours. How could a general public be able to register their complaints . Repeated power cuts pls do the needful

Respected sir/ madam we are facing the power cut problem on several times from past few months allready we compliant to the concern department and the we didn't get the permanent solution still now and old age person with oxygen machine support 24×7 so electric supply is very very must for us so consern officers to take necessary action on this and do the needful thank u

There was a rain in my area around 11:00 PM, but it lasted for only 30 minutes. Since then there is no power. It is 02:45 AM now. Please solve it as soon as possible.

Plzzzz crct our area give some resolution first every day a lot of power cut for more than 3 hours especially during night hours here in every house a lot of babies and elders are severely suffering due to this power cut

Too much power cuts in my area. Before even a single drop of rain reaches earth they are cutting the power supply and after rain is done they are giving back the power. This is more often now a days.
