We submitted a letter to assistant engineer, luz division, mylapore, chennai-600004 requesting a change to domestic tariff on 01-06.2019. The letter is acknowledged by the concerned officer. E. B. Service no: [protected]. The technicians came for inspection end june, 2019 and said that it would be corrected from the following billing statement. The ae had endorsed saying that the connection had been changed from commercial to residential on 12.06.2019.
Inspite of such an endorsemnt, the bill raised for the subsequent period on[protected], was for rs.18102/- for 2000 units with the commercial rate.
The bill dt[protected], the reading of consumption units1900, and charges given in the card is rs.17249/-. However, when presented the card for payment and change of tariff to domestic, they made a correction and we were asked to pay a higher amount and we have paid rs.18197/-.
When we showed them the office that the meter was changed from commercial to residential in june itself, we were informed that the ae who had issued that letter is no longer working in this region and were were forced to pay the commercial rate.
The office however has issued a new card with the instruction changed from the next billing statement.
Since the meter was already changed to a residential connection on 12.6.2019 itself, i request you to kindly refund the excess payment from july 2019 and issue a credit for the same. Was this information helpful? |
