Eb meter fixed at my residence and when i went to pay the bill on 20th october 2018, i was informed that the display in the meter is not working so i had to pay the average amount of the previous two months. Since it was summer time, i had paid the bill. I was also informed that the eb meter will be changed immediately by the department people.
When i went to pay the december 2018 eb bill, the ae informed me to pay the average amount of the previous two month as the meter is not functioning. I had paid the amount rs. 2737 and asked him when will be get the refund as i have paid excess amount as it is winter now and i have consumed less electricity. He told me that it is their policy and the amount will not be refunded. He also told that till the new meter is fixed, i had to pay the same bill (Average amount of the previous two bills which is rs. 2737).
As i am not using much of electricity during these months, i am been asked to pay excess amount for no mistake of mine. Eb meter was not changed even after 3 months. Last year my december month bill was rs. 740 and october 2017 bill was rs. 980. February 2018 bill was rs. 680.
I need help in getting back the excess amount paid or to be adjusted in my next bill. Also the meter to be fixed immediately Was this information helpful? |
