Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — duplicate bill for the period of non functioning of electric meter reading

Respected sir / madam,

1. It is for your info that the electric meter fitted for connection no[protected] was not working since long. Necessary complaints were lodged accordingly with asst engineer (E&m), office of eb, eriyodu and personal liaison were made with the eb office staff. The eb office staff told that the meter has been calculated under the govt scheme of minimum reading (I. E 100 free unit). Further, the electric meter was changed and the due amount was paid by me. But the initial reading of the new electric meter has not been informed to the user even though repeated requests. Rather, there were excessive reading was shown against the new electric meter.in this regard, i approached the ae and applied an application with a request to inform the starting reading of the newly installed electric meter. But they have not replied sofar.

2. Now, after a long period, i have received two bills dt 20 sep 2019 for the period of non functioning of electric meter showing the following period:-

(A) 11/16 to 3/18 - rs 6121.00
(B) 01/17 to 03/18 - rs 4596.00

3. As such, it is my humble request that please give necessary direction for needful action.

In panruti... nowadays...there..shut down Current...in Midnight...there..r... so much suffering from this current Shut down in midnight...3 r 4 hours... Daily doing current supply off.. please humble request to see this problem report in panruti.
