Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — EB meter not working. Extremely high charges has been levied.

My EB meter is not working and the 2nd Jan bill that I got was for rs.5550 which is not a fair amount. There were only 2 occupants in the flat without any AC how can such high charges be levied. I want the charges to be revised to reflect a fair amount. Also EB meter needs to be replaced soon so that correct charges are levied.
