Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — Excess billing for my domestic electricity consumption

Dear Sir,
I have been receiving excess billing from Tamil Nadu Electricity Board in respect of my Domestic service connection number [protected] at my house Door Nr. 15a, Plot 39, S.B.O.A. Teachers Nagar, Kolathur, Chennai-600099, Tamilnadu. My electricity bill dated 17th March 2025 in respect of my Connection number [protected] was Rs.16, 572. But my electricity bill dated 19th May 2025 in respect of my Connection number [protected] suddenly rose 115% higher to a sum of Rs.35, 664. I have records to prove that I paid the bill by borrowing from RBL Bank at higher rates of interest, and I have to repay this loan and interest over two years. How burdensome this is in our old age! We are spending sleepless nights over this sudden hike in the electricity tariff. Or was it an erratic meter reading?
My electricity bill dated 16th July 2025 in respect of my Connection number [protected] was again higher than ever before, a sum of Rs.35, 982.
My electricity bill dated 17th September 2025 in respect of my Connection number [protected] showed a little lower sum of Rs.29, 242.
I request that you raise this complaint with the Tamilnadu Electricity Board and get me the excess amount I paid already.
