[Resolved] Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — Excess billing / Wrong meter readings

My current reading as of today is 5411(As per meter) and previous billed reading is 5300. but as per current bill it is mentioned as 5870. why should i need to pay bill for wrong amount ?

who is liable for this. For your reference i have attached my previous reading Eb card hand writen by TNEB person and attached current meter readings too.

directly went to TNEB office and waited more than 30 minutes for resolution. But still am not clear why am charged for unused units and how they calculated the charges ??? EB persons are so cool and they didnt explain what happened. Pl note all users cannot stand infront of eb office in hot sun for resolution. In bill it is clearly mentioned charges has been taken from previous consumption. Pl ensure correct values are mentioned before generating each and every bill to avoid confusion between users. This leads to lose in hope with TNEB.

Sir, My service No is [protected]. The Electricity bill for the Month of May 2021 was Rs. 12, 063, which I have paid reserving my right to raising a dispute over excess bill amount since a;ll these years Rs.12, 063/ was levied as Electricity charges for my connection. It is evident from the reading details. Now for the month of July 2021 to day ie 25.06.2021 I have received a SMS stating that the E.B charges is the same amount of Rs.12, 063/ as charges for consumption which I never consumed. Even as per Govt orders, the electricity charges for the Month of May 2019 was not Rs.12, 063/. I have not consumed electricity for Rs.12, 063 which is highly excessive and exorbitant. Therefore I request you to verify the records and return the excessive amount paid and also cancel the charges for the Month of July 2021.

Sir June month reading not taken.But 2 months back only i have 710 paid but this month entered 3562 how can it possible.We are not using AC, regular consumption only.Please rectify the reading amount and do the needful and oblige.We need your result within due date Please.My Service number is[protected].
